some more things i made recently. honestly obsessed with both of these, and they were super quick little projects!
the choker was my first time working with beads, which was way easier than i had imagined. i much prefer stringing the beads as i go to pre-stringing them. also i frequently wear neckerchiefs and am deeply excited to crochet a bunch of them for myself. yippe!

tapestry crochet project that i was originally gonna use for a kindle cover, but now i think i'll make a second version to smooth out all of the mistakes i made. so so many mistakes. it's slightly too big. the pink and the orange look too similar etc

first finished shuttle tatting motif
after a few practice attempts of.. mostly messing up the join somehow, i got sick of looking at tutorials and just went in and did the first pattern i found on pinterest SO NATURALLY: i forget and mess up the very last join. it's fine.
she's pretty wonky, but i think it's a solid first attempt nonetheless. the movement of tatting with a shuttle is 1000x more fun than needle tatting to me. also closing the ring is So Much Easier. i had a good time.

no fancy photo today, but my first attempt at needle tatting!
she's far from perfect, but making her was so stressful, that i'm literally just glad it exists <3 definitely harder than i expected it to be! why are there so many yarn ends! really excited to get better at this and make more fun things.
