So the new madoka Magica mobile game called “Madoka Magica Exedra” with Pokelab and f4samurai, and since Demon Homura is out and new app that f4samurai (who worked on Magia Record) is also working on this. I have feeling that Magica Record might be shutting down soon

I'd liken the situation with Madoka with the Elder Scrolls series after Skyrim. People say Bethesda is taking too long to release Elder Scrolls 6 when the ideal time should have been 5 or so years after Skyrim so they ED6 could ride on the popularity of that game. By the time ED6 comes out, not as much people are going to care anymore. Likewise, a followup to Rebellion should've come out at least 3 or 5 years later, they waited too long and the series popularity suffered as a result.

Anno did that with something like that with Rebuild when he founded Khara to do the project rather than have it done by Gainax. Hell, word has it he didn't even trust them with the original NGE and wanted another studio to do it.

Well, considering it also took him for fucking ever to finish Rebuild, he has a strange way of assesting competence, but...it is finished, Madoka isn't so...maybe he's on to something.
