This situation in Sudan makes me so so so so so mad and angry because they CUT OFF the Internet so people can’t say what’s happening there and they rely on US to be SAVED because they’re currently living a NIGHTMARE they can’t even go to the streets NORMALLY and they can’t do ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE THERE IS NO INTERNET. Here’s a “life-hack” for you.
Apparently concentrated Kool-Aid can be used as a pretty effective leather dye.
I was making a drink while cutting the snaps off some new straps for my pauldrons and I got curious, so I tried it, thinking, “ok even if this works, it will just wash out.”
Nope.
It took the “dye” (undiluted) in about 3 seconds. After drying for about an hour and a half, it would not wash off in the hottest tap-water. It would not wash out after soaking for 30 minutes.
It did not wash out until I BOILED it, and even then, only by a tiny bit and it gave it a weathered look that was kind of cool.
Add some waterproofing and I’d wager it would survive even that.
That rich red is only one application too.
Plus it smells great, lol.
So there you go, cheap, fruity smelling leather dye in all the colors Kool-Aid has to offer.

hi guys i’m dying and it’s my own fucking fault
i was told by my doctor to stop wearing my binder because of the damage its done to my lungs and ribcage but im a dense idiot with a lot of body dysphoria so i kept wearing it but last night i fell asleep in it and now breathing really sucks. im not like injured or anything (at least any more than i was before) but i probably shouldnt wear my binder anymore for real. but thats gonna be really intense dysphoria wise so i was wondering if you could donate to my gofundme for top surgery? i’m 18 and i’ve been wanting top surgery ever since i went through puberty and it would be a huge help if you donated. thank you.
