#reblogging this to my mechs blog too. i am here to skew results#im just gonna copy my tags from main lmao#sorry to be a mechs fan on main but literally the only answer is swan song by the mechanisms#wlnb human/ship ai tragic romance based on swan lake with an AMAZING rock outro#makes me tear up#also pieces from the same album#prometheus from tales to be told vol 1 is fun but makes more sense in the context of ulysses dies at dawn so not quite standalone#and i cant in good conscience put gunpowder tim vs the moon kaiser purely bcuz its 10 minutes long and is more like several small songs#given the short narration breaks#ignominius demise of dr pilchard is funny but also benefits the greater overall lore of who the mechanisms/dr camilla are#anyways. swan song fr.#polls

i haven't listened to mechs in a while but favoured son came up in my shuffle and i needed something that was able to keep me stimulated without taking too much of my attention and podcasts and normal music were too much and too little respectively. mechs is the sweet spot. i forget how their stuff makes me feel sometimes lol
