I wouldn't really call this full on angst but it does fall under that category

Eren cried as he held your dead body in his arms, he sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. He didn't want to believe you were dead- he refused to. He thought maybe this was just a realistic dream that he'd wake up from this nightmare with you near him to reassure him that you're all right and comfort him. He didn't want to come to terms with the fact that you were dead, he never even got to confess to you.

He didn't know if he could live without you, but he knew one thing... That he would avenge you
