"…not a death wish either, I just wanna be friends with you. You said you were my best friend when we met, right?" they added, focused on their bag. It must be in here somewhere….

With a determined look, they set a small container between the two of them, "ahah- here. I wanted to share this with you Flowey!" they scooted the container forward, opening it up to reveal the butterscotch pie that Toriel had left the child with. "Its really good! and if your my best friend… I wanted to share it with you!"

Tiny footsteps crunched through the ashes and toasted gravel coating the floor, the child's breath nearly leaving them as they saw the source of the growling noise. They'd.... never seen a monster that big before.... but they were up to the task nonetheless. They shifted the pack on their back, quietly studying the beast before them for a short moment. Fire magic? at least that was what it looked like...

“…monster ambassador” the child reminded themself as they trudged forward towards the shrouded castle. they’ve been through scarier situations in the underground and through the multiverse, for sure. it’s just… been a while. when they heard rumors of a lonely monster isolated in this castle there was no way they could ignore such a soul. they shifted the pack on their back, it’d been a long ways of travel and luckily they’d still had some butterscotch pie they toriel made. maybe they could share it? the thought swiftly left them as they winced from the sound of impact the dragon made. must be close then. “h-hello there- is there anyone here?” frisk’s voice sounded smaller than intended as they heaved the door open. the possibility of making a new friend…. fills them with determination.

The inside was all burnt up and there were massive gaping holes in the roof, not to mention charred remains that were strewn around. The furniture was also in rough shape as well, but other than that the inside was massive and in the middle laid a set of stairs leading up. The child's faint voice caught the attention of the beast from where it rested, causing a growling sound to emit from his maw. He began to search for the intruder into his territory, whoever they were they didn't seem to care for their own safety. His search would end in the main room as he came face to face with, a child? Why was a child even here in the first place? Fatalis grumbled a little and stared down at them, small flickers of embers came out of his maw before he spoke. "What do you think you are doing here?" His tail lashed a little bit, whoever this child was they didn't look like they came from here that was for sure.

Castle schrade, a palace constantly coated in a thick layer of dark clouds, never a sight for sore eyes when for Fatalis. He was currently resting atop what used to be a support pillar, tail wrapped around it firmly and head watching the land below him. There was never anything approaching except for the rare and seldom seen hunter who was sent to the guild to finally put an end to them yet failed. Humans, why were they so persistent? It was a question he couldn't figure out, they knew hell well that his death wouldn't happen so why did they do it anyways? A low growl came from him as he decided to leave his position, slinking down and towards a lower part of the castle, his sleek black scales seeming to blend into the skies. With a loud sound he landed within the center of the ruined palace.
