Perhaps I’m just a very greedy person but…

I want to read a story, not about a man that died protecting what he truly believed in, not about the brutal slaughter of a clan, not of a child left without his parental figure, not of a man driven to the edge by losing the man he loves, not of a sword that can no longer be wielded or a flute abandoned, not of a brother giving his most cherished possession to his brother to honor a promise made, not the story of a child who took his own life to summon a demon to get rid of the peoples that drove him in a corner, not the story of a child that lost his entire clan and family, nor the story of a child growing without parents under the care of his embittered uncle who lost his entire family.

I want a story where Wei Wuxian get a new Golden Core, either through someone choosing to give it freely or by taking Wen Ruohan’s Core or one of his followers’. I want Wei Wuxian to be able to lift Suibian again. I want him to use Suibian and Chenquing in harmony. I want him to take the surviving Wens far away and protect them and make a clan of their own. I want him to remain in his own body, healthy and alive. I want him to save Mo Xuanyu and anyone else that need saving like Jiang Yanli, Jin Zixuan and Wen Qing, etc. I want Jiang Cheng to know that his dumb brother gave him his Golden Core. I want Jiang Yanli to raise her son together with her husband and tell Jin Rulan bed time stories of her two silly brothers. I want the Juniors including Mo Xuanyu to grow loved and protected. I want Wei Wuxian to become Wen Yuan and Mo Xuanyu’s parental figure. I want Lan Wangji to court Wei Wuxian slowly but surely. Holding each others up.

Want to read more things with similar energy as Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint and Lout of the Count’s Family.

Preferably BL, Strong Willed Fem!Mc and/or without romance. No Harem unless the story is VERY good. (I’m tired of all the stories with over sexualised female characters throwing themselves at men or being damsels in distress. I have read that pattern more times than I care to remember. I have done my time.)

I know a lot of people see Alhaitham And kaveh as ‘exes’ trope or enemies because they argue and yell at each other all the time and I'm not here to argue that but hay listen, I just remember that guy who i used to know who was married for two decades to this woman and their fighting would always get intense so someone told him “why don’t you just find someone else?” And he looked at that person with a pause, and said “where on earth would i find someone who would yell at me like that??” And i think that was love

I knew about the theory of Changelings being based off of Autistic babies. And that the parents believed the child had been exchanged. Because it’s normal for a baby to cry a lot and over react and stuff. But as the baby grow they start to see the difference with a neuro typical baby start becoming more flagrant. Leading to the belief that their "normal" baby was switched with a Changeling baby.

So Fairies being based off Autistic peoples wouldn’t surprise me much.

I told a kid in my class the other day that it was going to be the year of the tiger! This kid is a kindergartner, five years old.

Usually there’s some interest when I bring this up, but this kid sort of sat with that for a couple minutes, expression settling into a thousand yard stare. Just as I was wondering if something was wrong, he looked at me with his haunted eyes and asked, in a tone of resignation: “When are the tigers coming?”

I had to quickly reassure him that the year of the tiger was like…an animal assigned to the year, and not another plague or natural disaster! Between the Covid, lockdowns, and huge flood of cicadas last year this child probably decided that this was in line with how the world worked and was mentally getting his affairs in order.
