I see a lot of zoomers on here who seem to think that those of us over 25 are mean and invalidating of their gender identities because we just don't get it. When you say "non-binary" when you say you just didn't feel like a girl, I fucking get it. I really, really do. When you talk about gender dysphoria and hating your body, I've been there. If you tell me you're "not like other girls, so you're not", it's not some new and novel concept my bigoted mind can't get around.
I bound my breasts as a teen. I went by a boys name. I insulted other girls because I saw the way they were treated and the way they made performance pieces of themselves and I was terrified of being in their position.
But it wasn't because I was unique and special and begendered. I was never less of a girl, a female, a woman, because I was a tomboy. Because I hated when boys objectified me. Because I couldn't relate to pink or pretty things and I lashed out at other girls in my anger and fear as though they were the ones responsible for the overwhelming pressure to be quieter, softer, and prettier.
When you claim you're non-binary because you don't fit in to rigid (sexist) gender standards, you're just reinforcing the legitimacy of the strict gender system that put you in that position in the first place. Nobody fits into the gender binary. Nobody. So stop acting like it's something meaningful or revolutionary that you don't fit in the box. NOBODY DOES. Don't just climb out of it, dismantle the box!

It's staggering how the gender cult is obsessed with the idea of social constructs to the point of conflating basic biology - materiality - with the idea of a concept socially constructed. I often see trans-identified males blurting out things like "I had to remove my Adam's apple because according to society's rules a woman's voice shouldn't sound too rough" or "I had to remove my beard with the help of laser treatment because society says a woman's face shouldn't be covered by a thick beard" or - THE CLASSIC ONE - "I had to undergo SRS because society expects females to not have penises".
How the fuck are those societal rules and not biological facts because human beings have sexual dimorphism? Those are not socially constructed concepts, those are objective aspects of your material reality as a male. How come now we're addressing secondary and even primary (!) sex characteristics as subjective ideas that 1) were put in place by the evil CIStem and 2) need to change in order to establish social progress?
My ability to recognize who's male and who's female is an evolutionary adaptation and no amount of woke brainwashing can convince me it's bigotry.

It’s so weird the way western 1st world libfems insist on saying there’s no universal female experience. Like, of course, women experience patriarchy in different ways in different cultures, but living under patriarchy is a universal experience.
And then they go like “lemme use these 3rd world indigenous people that I know nothing about as a token to say there are matriarchal societies, therefore patriarchy isn’t universal”.
First of all, matrilineality and matrilocality aren’t the same as a matriarchal society. There isn’t evidence of it. Don’t conflate these terms, don’t be silly.
Second of all, it’s stupid and intellectually wrong to pick villages comprised of a few dozen people or even less, in which women have an important status that are only in practice because it’s validated by men to use it as strong evidence to affirm that not all of half the population of this planet is dominated by the other half.
As I said, patriarchy works differently from society to society, but patriarchy isn’t a white creation, it existed way before european colonization and to imply some women are free of it, when they’re actually more coopted into capitalistic structures that allow them to consume goods and take part in the job market, is to ignore the material reality of what’s to be female in a world designed and ruled by males.

hey jsyk you're marked red (transphobe) in shinigami eyes
The extension created by Wesley "Laurelai" Bailey, who has been accused of raping multiple young women, including a 14-year-old girl? Sorry he doesn't approve of my feminism.

i don’t think id even take much issue with the word “queer” if it wasn’t shoved in my, & every lgb person’s, throat. it’s used as an umbrella term, a term to refer to our history, used to refer to every gay person, used to refer to same sex attraction, and is frequently used to replace “gay” or “lesbian”. it’s in the name of an entire theory! there isn’t any other slur ive seen thats managed to overtake all other labels of a community & even made it so members outside that community can casually & uncritically call us that slur.

a trans men arguing that i must call myself “bi” because i like pussy, and both woman and “men” have pussy. why can’t you all live your life without forcing your posmod worldview into us, gays and lesbians? i didn’t endure all kinds of mental abuse to come out as a LESBIAN to witness these people feeling entitled to try to force me to redefine my sexuality because “it invalidates my gender identity uwu” and call me a bigot if i refuse to do so. your LESBOPHOBIA is showing.

a whole new generation is returning to “gays are diseased sex obsessed pervs” but pretending it’s progressive because it’s coming from heterosexual trans ppl who pretend to be gay/purposely conflate sexuality with gender presentation & stereotypes
I didn’t notice these replies earlier, but @ophelias-revenge is so so right.
Trans people: no one is forcing you to date trans people, but if you refuse a trans person you have a genital fetish.
Trans people: no one is trying to redefine your sexuality, but if you say you only engage sexualy with this specific set of genitals you need to stop calling yourself a lesbian, because men have pussy too.
You’re all blind if you can’t see how violent this kind of discourse is.

I miss the early 2000s and the Emo Era when people would listen to MCR and all that sad shit and have tacky greasy bangs and act all sad and done and WOULDN’T THINK THAT BECAUSE OF THEIR MUSIC TASTE OR HAIR THEY WOULD BE TRANS AND WOULDN’T COME UP WITH FAKE SEXUALITIES AND XENOGENDERS AND BE OBSESSED WITH PRONOUNS WHILE DESPERATE LOOKING FOR MADE-UP OPPRESSIONS TO FEEL SPECIAL.
Oh, the early 2000s...

Pronouns?! Using the WRONG pronouns?! HaTe cRImE
Being ableist? Fiiiiiine.
Funny how a potential trans RAPIST have more rights to have their ~feelings~ respected, but a evil terf “deseves” to be mocked based on her health condition. As if... being a ... gender critical woman is... worse... than being a... RAPIST.
Also, stop comparing your fake oppression (uwu pronouns) with RACISM.
Edit:
Tumblr media
Another woman too special to “feel” like a woman and delusioned enough to think her quirky hair makes her a man or whatever there is in between. How surprising...
undefined
tumblr
she’s so misguided omfg
but can we talk about why tf tras are so gleeful to defend rapists
edit: she made fun of my facial deformity lol

🗣 Girl Dick is not real. If you have a penis you are a male and no amount of rape threats will change that- rape threats prove your malehood

Sometimes it boggles my mind that women can spend decades of campaigning and get hardly anywhere, still have their rights up for debate as a political ploy or chipped away over time, and can have statistics and research to back up every claim and be laughed at, but some males go “actually, we’re women because we say so” and they’re let into female spaces like ????

Saying "No means No" won't change anything until men stop erotising rape: a woman saying no is just a turn-on for them.
We can't end rape culture while defending sex acts that simulate -or simply are- rape. And yes, I'm talking about BDSM.

It’s so funny when MRAs and TRAs start whining “Op iS a TeRf, I’lL StEeL ThIs PosT” as if this is some sort of gotcha moment... Babe, you agree with us, and acting all disgusted & reposting our stuff doesn’t change the fact that you agree with us. Kinda weird that such impeccable woke soul have opinions in common with evil terves, right?

You Are Like Other Girls
That hyper feminine girl who loves makeup? She hates her natural face, she feels ignored without wearing it, she is looking for a way to get positive attention from people because humans are social animals and we require it to survive.
That super sugary sweet girl who lets herself get pushed around? She was policed in to that behavior. She is terrified of how people will react if she speaks her mind. She has seen the way girls with strong opinions that differ from the male consensus are called bitches. She doesn’t want to be a bitch.
That girl who says she loves cooking and cleaning? It’s the only way she’s ever achieved a sense of accomplishment. It’s the main thing she was encouraged to get good at doing.
Women who conform to what’s expected of us don’t do it because they were born with “correct” femininity receptors in their brains. We are all doing our best to survive in a patriarchal society, we are all reacting to the environments of our homes, our social circles, our communities.
We are all born as blank slates, and we make our choices on how to behave based on the consequences we are offered and how prepared we are to accept those consequences. We learn what to expect from certain behaviors from observing what happens to those who commit those behaviors, or from being behaviorally reinforced ourselves.
It is more difficult to behave socially out of line than it is to behave socially in line.
Teenagers are right when they call each other “fake” for performing femininity. Because deep down they know the truth, that such behavior is a performance of a societal role, rather than an expression of genuine humanity.
As children we all paint our faces in a wide variety of ways. When children paint their faces, they are expressing joy and creativity. As we get older, we paint our faces to blend in or to attract positive social attention or to express belonging to a subculture (like goth makeup). Our creativity gets cut up in to bite size pieces to fit in to a social sphere. This doesn’t happen because we are born to behave this way, it happens because of the chain of events of our lives.
No human being is born to exist as subservient or meek, no human being is born for the purpose of serving others. No human being is born to be a sacrifice.
Women are human beings. Every woman and girl is a human being.
Every girl you have looked at and thought to yourself, “she’s one of those girls that are nothing like me” is exactly like you, because she is human, because she is a female human existing in the same world as you, under the same pressures as you, and she is doing her best with what she’s got, just like you.
We are all the “other girls” to someone else because men write the narrative of what womanhood means, and as that is the only narrative offered to us, we learn it. We are indoctrinated in to a role of self hatred–which develops in us a hatred of the class we belong to.
Deep down, every woman’s heart beats with the hope of liberation.

I can't stand seeing all these women's day posts listing trans women at the top. Some adding the infamous transwomen are women too with a threat if anyone disagrees. *Sigh* TiMs take everything from us. Women's day isn't about them and will never be. (Sorry for suddenly ranting here, if I had my own gender critical/rad leaning blog and courage to voice my thoughts I'd do that, but I'm not there yet. But I really enjoy reading your thoughts.)
Oh, I’m sorry for taking so long to reply. Sometimes it’s really hard for your mental health to keep in contact with all this liberal bullshit, mostly when you’re not “out” as a radfem yet. I was just taking a few days off. AND YES, you’re absolutely right! During International Woman’s Day, I refused to be online on any social media because I simply can’t keep up with this nonsense anymore.
People nowadays don’t only write “Happy International Woman’s Day to all women, including trans women” they make a whole damn post that focuses on TRANS WOMEN. Last year I saw my liberal friends writing “Happy International Woman’s Day to all Trans Women” and then proceeded to list all the oppressions TIMs endure and how that day was much more about their “womanhood” than that of “cis privileged women”. The fuck?!
In my country, we have Trans Awareness Week, Trans People Day, Trans Pride Parade and yet it’s not enough. Not only normies act as if International Woman’s Day is an empty day to give women flowers and chocolate, taking away any possibility of a critical debate regarding women’s civil and sexual rights, now we have to police our speech because we need to be inclusive. I hate it here.
My ask box is open for you to rant if you feel like it. And if you ever make a side blog message me. Have a nice day :)
