Ted’s messy anxiety/depression apartment is the most validating thing, because I saw that and I was like “aw Teds really going through it, his messy apartment doesnt mean he isnt still the best tho” and then I looked at my messy room and was like “wow, you’re a lazy mf huh” and then I realized that maybe I needed to be kinder to myself and I think that's peachy.

the way that Nate was complaining about how Ted didn't have the picture of them on his desk, and clearly Nate thinks he tossed it, BUT actually Ted has it on his mantle at home next to a picture of his son is something that can just be so personal...

I dont want to end up being right saying this but, I think, if twitter is to be believed and my brain just wants to assume the worst so im not upset by what actually happens. IF thats true then I think whats going to happen is Rebecca is going to follow Sam to wherever he goes. Given the Tedbecca talk from the promo, the description of the episode and the episode title, I think thats whats going to happen.

Tedbecca time (or lack thereof):
Fuck it, I’m posting it now in light of episode 10 coming out earlier.
These bar graphs show the amount of times Rebecca has referred to Ted or Ted has referred to Rebecca, whether it’s in presence or absence of the other person, and the names they have used to do so.
She refers to him as a “wanker” (derogatory) in the pilot and then never again. In 1x08 and 1x09, though, we see the return of curses when Rebecca talks to or about her gaffer. She calls him a “fucker” (affectionate) when he brings her chocolate truffles along with the biscuits and tells Higgins Ted’s a “little shit” (affectionate) for forgiving her.
There’s a couple of “Coach Lasso”s sprinkled around, a very surprised “Ted Lasso” when she finds out the cowboy can pull off a suit and many, many “Ted”s. some warm, many exasperated and a few guilt-riddled ones:
Tumblr media
See for yourselves the massive drop of interaction during season 2, and the peak during 2x06 (the invitation to lunch with her mother, the desperate search during the match and the voicemail).
I want to clarify that, even though Ted and Rebecca share many scenes in the Christmas episode, the only “Ted” in this graph is the one Rebecca writes on the ground using tinsel.
The conversation drops to nothing after their refusal to do therapy and/or share their feelings with each other, which happens in 2x02.

And now, the cowboy himself:
There’s one Miss Welton we never go back to, many, maby “boss”es and more “Rebecca”s than I remembered:
Tumblr media
And yet again, the dreaded drop of interaction.
I think it’s interesting to point out that, even though Rebecca has that massive “Ted” peak during “The Signal” and actually shares one full scene with him (lunch at Crown and Anchor), he doesn’t refer to her as Boss, Rebecca or Ma’am during the entire episode:

We’ll see what happens in episode 10, guys… Hopefully, we’ll get some peaks.
