Rating Klinger Outfits On Flamboyance Because I’m Bored: Part 2
Same thing applies from part one, this is literally an excuse for me to give my opinions on Klinger’s wonderful outfits
Yeah
SERVING SERVING
Bow to the queen
The coat? Lovely
The mink? Incredible
The cigarette holder? Classy
Hotel? Trivago
But seriously I adore this look and it’s no wonder he got a reporter to take his picture in this outfit it’s so great
Definitely a bit flamboyant, but not insane
7/10 would turn heads
The sweetest grandma you’ve ever seen
Such a cute dress for cooking
I love the blue so much, and the flower apron really sets off this look
Honestly this outfit does remind me of my wonderful grandma and she makes great pies and is the sweetest person you’ve ever met
But? Hardly flamboyant, the hat is the craziest part and it’s just a chef’s hat
2/10 just for the hat
I’m upset I couldn’t find a better picture of this outfit
He wears it multiple times, and it’s such a classic
So practical when the wounded are coming in
And the cloak!! The cloak!!

5/10 partially because it’s a nurse outfit (yes I know nurses actually dressed like that, but Klinger is not a nurse AND the nurses wear army outfits so therefore it is a bit extra in these circumstances) and partially because of the cloaks. Cloaks are always flamboyant and they are wonderful

Rating Klinger Outfits on Flamboyance Because I’m Bored: Part 1
This is in no way an exhaustive list, nor is it meant to imply any of Klinger’s outfits are not fabulous. Because they are. It’s more of an excuse to talk about Klinger’s outfits and how much I love them. Also I don’t have any fashion training whatsoever, so this is just for fun.
I’m going to do a part 2 because I don’t want this to be giant and it already is pretty big
Anyway
one of the ones I see the most often
Iconic
The pose. The sass. Amazing
Honestly one of his more practical outfits
I love any outfits where Klinger has flowers in his hair argue with the wall
I’d wear that to a spring picnic
6/10 the flowers in the hair give it more points, but overall I think I’d see a woman wearing that at church on Easter Sunday

And the fur coat? The ring? THE FEATHER?

I don’t think I’d wear this though, red may be Klinger’s color but it is sadly not mine

Again, red is such a great color on Klinger

The blouse is my favorite part, it’s so cute

4/10 for flamboyance, the chances of me seeing someone wearing a similar outfit in the wild are decent

Klinger definitely slays every outfit he’s in, but I’m not actually super big on this one

The fur coat definitely makes this one more flamboyant

And you know what? I love it

Take it from someone who had to wear a fruit hat for theater, those things are SO top heavy

1. Hawkeye
The hugger of all time
Probably picks you up n hops around with you while yelling about whatever the fuck he's being insane about at the moment
The skinny arms lowkey dig into your everywhere but it's worth it

2. Trapper
Beefy teddy bear
IDC if he said he's out of shape in that one ep I can see that beef. Muscly ppl are some of the best huggers
WILL spin you. He probably sends the kids that hang around around the camp into orbit when he's in a good mood

3. BJ
Father figures give the best hugs
Also something about that mustache make him feel significantly huggier idk why
He'd probably jump around like Hawkeye or at the very least shake you like a rag doll
You know you've had a good hug if you feel mildly concussed afterwards

He'd probably do the 'rocking back n forth' thing too if he thinks it's necessary

Is a lot like Mulcahy in that he will hug anyone he thinks needs it

I’m not even joking, I think something deep inside of me heals a little bit every time hawkeye pierce/alan alda laughs like a maniac.
Like he just laughs so unapologetically loudly and happily and I think it helps me so much as someone who used to be really conscious of their laugh and what it sounded like, but then he laughs and sounds absolutely insane and it makes me so happy.
Because it really isn’t about how the laughter sounds, it’s about the fact that it’s happening. That you’re happy.

I saw a post one time about someone always looking in the background of MASH episodes to try and see Father Mulcahy to see what he’s doing, and now I do it constantly.
It’s just so fun and he’s pretty easy to spot in crowd scenes because of his hat so it’s a fun little game
I do notice pretty much immediately if he’s not in OR though and it always makes me sad cause I’m like “where is he?? where’s the boy??”
This post has no point I just felt like sharing the fact that I essentially play I Spy while I watch MASH but it’s always Father Mulcahy
