Soul mate au

So i haven't seen many soulmate au's for leverage, or maybe i'm not looking in the right places but how interesting would it be to have eilot/quinn soulmate au where the first words your soulmate says to you are written somewhere on your body. Like how focus and dedicated both of them had to be to have that fight and focus on fighting while in the back ground their mind is going "that's your soul mate'. Eliot fighting to protect his team = his family and Quinn is fighting for his reputation. And after the fight where Eliot knocks Quinn out he throws Quinn over his shoulder (Or drags him tbh) so they can have a 'talk'.

“the cat king is a villain” “the cat king is a good guy” you’re all wrong. the cat king is a trickster. he is whatever he chooses to be at any given moment based purely on his own whims and interests. it’s a disservice to the character to try and categorize him on a simplistic basis like good/evil

Not endgame, but I think Cat King and Edwin should help eachother grow as people and navigate healthy intimacy and have tooth rotting little dates kiss.

It’s crazy to me that I see people talking about the cat king being a rapist or wanting to SA Edwin. I need people to understand that framing and the way things are shot matters. At no point is Edwin shown to be scared of him, uncomfortable sure but that has more to do with his repression. He’s attracted to Thomas and doesn’t want to be. They frame every thought Edwin has of Thomas as sexy, never from fear or anything even close. When Edwin thinks of Thomas he’s sexy slow mos and his abs and his breath against his cheek and leaning in close and whispering in his ear and his eyes and lips. Edwin is uncomfortable with the thought of being attracted to a man itself NOT with Thomas in general. Also aggressively flirting is not SA can we stop with that. He never forced Edwin to do anything. He made a suggestion of sex in exchange for being free and when Edwin even looked uncomfortable he gave him another option. He never once forces sex onto him or even tries. Not to mention Thomas is shown to clearly actually care about Edwin. He warns him about Monty and the witch, he tries to get the witch to back off and gets beaten to death for it, even after that he still gives crystal and Niko info on the witch knowing possibly if they fail he could lose another life or get killed all together. He shows up to just say goodbye and give him a flower. Thomas is not some evil villain here. He basically did the same spell on Edwin that Edwin did to his cat. He’s a trickster and can be morally gray at times but at no point is he ever evil. Also just to say Edwin’s age is a gray area. He’s been alive for more than 100 years so I don’t think the “oh it’s weird the cat king is hitting on a 16 year old” holds much water either. Not everything in media and every character and every aspect can be categorized as purely good or bad, I’m gonna need people to stop trying to make it.

1. You are responsible for your own media experience. 

2. There is such a thing as a healthy level of avoidance towards topics that make you feel unwell or even (in a real-life clinical definition of the term) trigger you - but you are the one to actively take care of what you view.

3. Avoiding does not mean policing others.

4. You have no right to tell artists to censor themselves - you may criticize what others do, you may dislike it, that’s fine - but actively asking for censorship when you could easily unfollow or block a person just makes you look incompetent in your use of the internet.

5. Do not give people on tumblr or /any/ website the responsibility for your emotional well-being. Because these people do not even know you so no, you have no right to ask them to take care of you.

the thing about charles that gets me is how kind he is. even with all his anger, he always reaches out first with kindness. him comforting the soldier ghost. him offering crystal a place to stay. him stopping and checking on the librarian on the stairs in hell. his reaction to edwin's confession. he is a character defined not by the pain he's experienced, but the kindness he extends to others. he has every reason to be bitter and vengeful, but instead he is full of love and compassion. i love him so much.

what gets me is they call themselves detectives but they didn't make the connection as to the boy named monty and when esther called the crow monty on the first episode. did edwin and charles just think there happened to be another boy called monty in a small town such as port townsend?? like that didn't ring a few alarm bells?? lmao??
