yeah, "what if hannibal was a chill guy who didn't commit a single crime but will thought he ate people anyway" is pretty funny but personally i think it'd be even funnier if he committed literally any crime EXCEPT cannibalism but was still a prime suspect in the serial cannibalistic murders sweeping across the states while his true offences remained undiscovered

Long Ago There Existed A World Before Taxes
It Was Chaos And Bloodshed. Pain And Anguish. The Whole World Was Like A Fancy Fruity Cocktail With No Funky Lil’ Umbrellas To Put In Them 😢
In The Midst Of All Of This Horror, Three Tiny Sparks Began To Form. They Fed On The Anger And The Bloodshed. Gained Their Strength From It. And Soon Grew Enough Strength To Establish A Physical Form.
As These Creatures Took Form, The World Began To Take Shape Around Them. The World Became Structured And People Learned The Values Of Compassion, Sharing The Burdens Of Life With Their Fellow Kin. People Were Finally At Peace.
These Benign Creatures Asked For Little In Return. Just That The People Don’t Forget Their Compassion And Drive To Share Their Wealth And Good Times.
As Time Passed On The Creatures Needed To Spend Less And Less Time On Our Plane Of Reality. As This Process Happened, Their Forms Shifted Once More And Their Essence Coalesced Into The Tax Pineapple That We All Know And Love Today.
Any And All Taxes Pass Through It In Order To Maintain The Balance Of The World Before Being Justly Redistributed To The Public. But I Needn’t Tell You More About The Pineapple We All Know And Love
Unfortunately Much Like The River’s Constant Flow Erodes And Dilutes Its Safe And Structured Path, The Peoples’ Peace Made Way For Yet Another Change.
Some Say The Creature Was The Last Survivor Of The Before Times. Others Believe It Was Born Of Some Dark, Twisted Version Of The Spark. But Either Way The Peace Fueled This Dark Creature And Soon Yoshi Rose To Power...
The World Began To Forget Its Compassion And Slowly Began Its Plunge Back Into Chaos....
Yoshi’s Refusal To Heed The Beloved Tax Pineapple’s Wishes Led Way To The Foundation Of Capitalism And All Of The Hatred And Bloodshed That Accompanies It.
We Now Live In A World So Far Away From The Tax Pineapple’s Light. Sure We Still Have Taxes...But We Have Forgotten The True Meaning Of Sharing And Redistribution Of Wealth.
Perhaps That Is Why We Have Gone So Long Without Being Graced By The Tax Pineapple’s Physical Form. Or Perhaps It Has Forsaken Us.
I Can Only Hope That We As Mere Humans Can Shed Our Accursed Shackles Of Capitalism Laid Upon Us By Yoshi, And Reclaim The Light Of A Better World :O
