Gen 1.2 Neighbors

After the news that she alone was in charge of an entire neighborhood, Chloe decided to go and clear her head she still wasn’t sure if she could do this. Soon she found a river and some locals fishing Chloe even managed to catch a fish on her first try. She met a girl named Katrina and a guy named....Chase? Clark? something with a C.... Chloe was never good with names. Lets just call him C-Man for now.

“Welcome to the neighborhood Chloe, Newcrest might not look like much but let me tell ya she’s got a lotta heart and once they start building... oh gosh it’s going to be beautiful” C-Man beamed Chloe he had such pride in his eyes talking about this place. Chole couldn’t give up now she decided.

“Newcrest is amazing and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve here” Chloe smiled.

As she was walking back to her small cottage she knew she could do this.

Gen 1.1 Good News & Bad News

Chloe was so excited to start on the Newcrest Project she arrived 3 days early. It was a dream come true she would be in charge of all the community gardens and landscaping while John and the SNEC transformed Newcrest into a real neighborhood.

Just as she got out of the taxi and arrived at the build site for the new park and her home for the next few months her phone beeped, letting her know she has a new email.

Subject: Good News and Bad News

From: John Richardson

Hello Ms Bright,

I have some good and bad news from the Simcity Neighborhood Expansion Committee.

The good news is that you have been given full creative freedom regarding the Newcrest project.

The bad news is that we are broke, apparently the board thought it was a good idea to invest in a dire chinchilla petting zoo (Don’t ask) After a disastrous opening day, several deaths and hundreds of lawsuits later we had no choice but to file for bankruptcy.

As the Newcrest land has already been approved for development we thought it best to leave the project to you. As well as all the finances.

WAIT WHAT!?

Chloe had spent almost all her money on the plane ticket here not to mention she knows almost nothing of building neighborhoods. But she did know about plants and gardening so for now that’s what she’ll do she’s build the best park this place has ever seen.

Chloe loves the outdoors, is a loner and can be quite the goofball. Her aspiration is to become a Freelance Botanist and her generation goal is to build a community park.

Hello and welcome to the Bright family!

I will be playing the Build Newcrest Challenge rules with some flexibility and some fun rules of my own.

To be honest I suck at playing legacy families and usually stop around Gen 4, However I’m really excited for this challenge so hopefully i’ll finish this one.

This is basically a legacy challenge with some twists and turns. Your family has decided to build Newcrest up from scratch. Each generation as a specific goal to achieve such as building houses, a park, a library etc.

Rules

Along with the official rules I have added a few of my own:

Travel Ban Pass

The travel rule says that you can not travel to any neighborhood except for Granite Falls and Magnolia Promenade. I have deiced to change this by giving each generation ONE ‘ Travel ban pass’ so once every generation one or more of the family can travel to ANY neighborhood once. This pass is per generation not per sim.

No Create A Spouse

The rules says that spouses may be from any townie or original premade family. I have changed this because i hate myself i think it would be fun. All spouses has to be selected from sims already in world in other words I can not create a spouse in CAS and move them in world.. Spouses has to be townies or the born in game children of original families.

Get Out Of Jail Free Card

Any rule can be ignored in case of emergency. Each generation gets ONE Get Out Of Jail Free Card (because i know i’m going to break some rules)
