Happy Valentinesaurus! 🦕🧡🦖 We’ve made some cute n’ cheesy Amber Isle Valentines cards to celebrate!

🐟 Character concepts for everyone’s favourite devonian placoderm: Dunkleosteus!  Art & Designs by Exty! We explored a bunch of different ideas for this character, but ultimately went with the writer, as we thought the juxtaposition of a marine creature trying to write with paper and ink would be super endearing!  Then, we opted to explore more realistic patterns and warm colours for her and tweaked her final design to have more accurate soft tissue. Here’s the end result!

🌵Desert Props!🌵 ‘Desert’ is one of the environments available for your village in Amber Isle. This allows you to invite Desert exclusive Paleofolk to permanently live on your island! You can also unlock special decor, such as ancient ruins, pottery and even dust baths for feathered Paleofolk. However, too much ‘Desert’ area may be too hot to handle for some of your colder climate villagers, so be sure to keep that in mind when designing your island!

So,, this is easily the most asked question we’ve gotten about Amber Isle! 👀 Originally we’d only planned on playable human characters for narrative and customisation reasons. However, there’s been such a clear desire from the community to create and play as your very own Paleofolk character.  So! We're asking for the community’s input on playable Paleofolk: 🗳 Vote in a poll on our Discord server. This lets us get an idea of how many people really, really want this as a feature. Hi there! Although we haven’t shown off a Parasaurolophus Paleofolk (say that 3 times fast!) yet, we’re still in the process of designing our final character roster.
