While rewatching S1, EP5:

okay this is just a small weird detail i just noticed but when lonnie comes over to "help" joyce, he sits down on the couch with her, pours her something to drink and says smth like "here drink something, it'll calm your nerves and help you think straight". i never payed close attention to it and just assumed he got her some water but he literally put some rum (or other strong liquor?) into her glass?????!!!!! tbh that's really damn fcked up...

On people still not seeing/accepting the possibility of byler becoming canon:

people love to tell byler fans that they "over analyze and over interpret the little details" in the show, making it seem like byler is a totally fan-made ship which is simply not true.

mind you, but in filmmaking nothing happens coincidentally. there's a whole team working on this show and i can guarantee you that everything we see on screen has been thought about. even the smallest details in room decor, outfits, lighting ect. ect.

when byler fans find *yet* another detail that hints byler, there is no overanalyzing going on. these details and hints are purposefully on screen the way they are. all we're doing is finding the hints the duffers and the writing team are giving us.

if you make an effort to rewatch the show and start looking for details, you will be hit with the fact that byler could very possibly have been planned from the very very beginning on!!
