Jollibee’s Crispy and Creamy Two-Na Sarap Tuna Pie is back in Original and Spicy!
Filipinos can now enjoy their favorite Jollibee Tuna Pie again!
Last year, Jollibee changed the game by introducing a brand-new variant of their beloved Tuna Pie—giving the popular Two-Na Sarap snack a new spicy twist. Filipinos absolutely loved the Spicy Tuna Pie flavor with an extra hot kick, while still being able to enjoy the classic Original variant.

Datu Puti gets the spotlight in new Guinness World Records™ Title
Datu Puti just kicked off 2021 by making history in setting a new Guinness World Records™ title for the most people dipping food into vinegar online simultaneously.
On January 24, the brand hosted a large-scale online meeting via Zoom, dubbed as the Datu Puti Mukhasim Nation World Record Day, where nearly 200 “Ka-Datus” joined the attempt to set a new Guinness World Records™ title. Hosted by Sam YG, the official title attempt was led by Datu Puti’s celebrity Sukambassadors Tita Krissy Achino, Eric “Eruption” Tai, and Maymay Entrata.
Participants were divided into six Tribo Breakout Rooms, namely Tribo Sukang Puti facilitated by JC Tevez, Tribo Sukang Sinamak with Maymay Entrata and Cara Eriguel, Tribo Pinoy Spice headed by Eric “Eruption” Tai, Tribo Sukang Tagalog with Tita Krissy Achino, Tribo Sukang Iloko with Show Suzuki, and Tribo Spiced Vinegar led by Nikki Viola.
The breakout rooms ensured that Guinness World Records™ official adjudicator Brian Sobel, who joined the call all the way from Australia, and six other independent witnesses were able to monitor and check if all the guidelines of the attempt were followed.
At the sound of the Sawsaw Signal, all Ka-Datus and Sukambassadors simultaneously showed their best “Sawsaw-Tikim-Mukhasim” move on camera. Participants simultaneously dipped their choice of food into their favorite Datu Puti Vinegar before tasting its naturally fermented goodness that brings out the best Mukhasim reaction.
As the undisputed leading vinegar brand in the country since 1975, Datu Puti has consistently provided a satisfying nuot-asim sarap that makes great-tasting dishes a lot more enjoyable. Not only is this feat remarkable for gathering a large number of participants online, but also because of its symbolism. At a time when we are unable to gather physically, the Filipino resilience shines through by finding ways and means to celebrate as a community, even at a distance.

NutriAsia and Papa team up with DepEd to teach students about proper nutrition
Proper diet and nutrition are crucial in young children’s formative years. These foster proper development for children, leading to good health, intelligence, and behavior, thus giving them better chances in succeeding later in life.
In light of this, NutriAsia and Papa forged a partnership with both Marylindbert International and the Department of Education (DepEd) for school year 2020-2021, the Pinggang Pinoy Pina-Sweet Sarap Comprehensive School Program. It is a special module that teaches the importance of having the right diet and nutrition. Powered by Papa Banana Catsup and Papa Spaghetti Pack, the program aims to educate Grade 1 and 2 Filipino students about how keeping a good diet with the right nutrition leads to proper and healthy development.
“With the Pinggang Pinoy Pina-Sweet Sarap Comprehensive School Program, we have a whole plan ready for teaching young Filipinos how to keep a proper diet and take in the nutrients they need,” said NutriAsia President and COO Angie Flaminiano. “We hope to be a part of their good growth and development and, in turn, the Philippines’ growth as well.” The Pinggang Pinoy program will be launched in 30 participating schools across the country, namely in Regions I, X, XI, and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
The class module is the first in the three-stage Pinggang Pinoy program. The second stage will involve cooking demonstrations and activities that will show students and parents how to prepare healthy snacks using Papa products. The final stage will involve a cooking contest that will challenge students, teachers and parents to create unique recipes using Papa Banana Catsup and Papa Spaghetti Pack.
