Amsterdamse rapper Bigidagoe (26) omgekomen bij schietincident

In de vroege ochtend van zondag is de 26-jarige rapper Bigidagoe (Danzel Silos) in Amsterdam doodgeschoten. Het incident vond plaats rond 05.30 uur op een bedrijventerrein in Sloterdijk, waar de rapper naar verluidt een muziekfestival bezocht. Na de schietpartij werd het slachtoffer zwaar gewond naar het ziekenhuis gebracht, waar hij later overleed. De politie is momenteel bezig met het onderzoeken van de omstandigheden rondom het schietincident, en er zijn nog geen verdachten aangehouden. Op het parkeerterrein bij de feestlocatie werden acht auto’s door de politie verwijderd voor sporenonderzoek. Op sociale media circuleert een bericht van een groep die claimt verantwoordelijk te zijn voor de aanslag. De politie heeft hier nog geen officiële uitspraak over gedaan en houdt rekening met verschillende scenario’s. Rapper Bigidagoe, lid van de rapformatie Zone6 uit Amsterdam-Zuidoost, was eerder betrokken bij juridische kwesties. Tegen hem liep een rechtszaak waarin het Openbaar Ministerie in december vier jaar cel eiste voor zijn betrokkenheid bij het ontvoeren, bedreigen en mishandelen van de rivaliserende rapper Kobus L. De rechter had nog geen uitspraak gedaan in die zaak. In augustus 2020 werd hij ook neergeschoten, toen in de Rivierenbuurt in Amsterdam. Enkele dagen later werd het huis van zijn moeder in het Amsterdamse stadsdeel Zuidoost beschoten. De woning werd daarna op last van de burgemeester gesloten. Zijn moeder werd op een schuilplek ondergebracht. De familie van Bigidagoe is aangeslagen door zijn dood en wacht af op verdere informatie van het lopende politieonderzoek. De gangsterrapper, stond bekend om zijn teksten over geweld en verheerlijking van criminaliteit. Hij was eerder het doelwit van een schietincident in 2020 en bracht daarna een nummer uit over deze gebeurtenis. Ondanks zijn beperkte bekendheid bij het grote publiek, had hij op streamingdienst Spotify maandelijks ongeveer 200.000 luisteraars. Zijn meest beluisterde nummer, “Platzak” uit 2021, waarin hij als gastartiest verscheen, is inmiddels meer dan 7,7 miljoen keer gestreamd. Read the full article
