Here's a thought completely unrelated to the photo, but I was just thinking at what point during the past few years was my skin looking the best and what products was I using? Wondering this because my skin looks not great right now and it's frustrating. Acne is much less frequent, but I noticed new melasma on my cheeks. AYFKM, face!? I re-ordered C Firma last night even though the inconsistent coloring can drive me nuts, BUT it worked really well for me in terms of brightening and fighting back discoloration. I think the times when I was doing consistent routines of mostly Korean brightening products, were the moments when my skin was looking the best. There was a point last year where I was really pleased with the appearance of my skin and I was using mostly Korean and Biologique Recherche. I need to re-examine those routines __________ I started this account as a skincare and beauty diary, and I still use it that way. I love going back to see what I used two or three years ago, reading my own reviews and remembering, oh yeah, that worked so great for me, or oh, no, that didn't do anything for my skin! So, when I'm writing and posting reviews, I do it to share with others, but also to help me remember how my skin reacted to products because sometimes I do forget the details __________ This isn't a complaint, but I also think that all the PR opportunities (even though I'm choosy about what I accept) kind of sidetracked my skin progress and I lost track of some of my skin goals. Acne fighting is always the number one skin goal for me, but melasma and other discoloration is a top one, too.
