IPKKND LIVE BLOG SEASON 1 [Epi 5]

Let'z welocme Shyam today. *sarcasm intended* (-_-) (I know I wrote the wrong spelling by mistake but then I noticed it and thought let it be. Who cares. Shyam himself won't come here to correct me.)

There, I gave you the biggest spoiler of the episode, in advance to ruin your mood.

Heh. I am evil.

Now don't leave without reading it, okay? I do a lot of mehnat into writing these. :')

Come. Let'z begin this then *sighs irritated-ly*

Arnav's manager shows him the live news with the footage, being telecasted in some channel. (Kamlesh Khabri ji, was that yours ? Lol.)

2. Did you-too- wonder about that 'smart' phone, Arnav was holding? Turns out, I could find it.

3. "Aaj ka saajan" Lmao. (Today's lover)

4. Arnav, while watching that clip, being telecasted, flashes back to the line Khushi said last, before leaving. "Devi maiyya ki marzi ke bina koi kuch bhi nahi kar sakta, koi Arnav Singh Raizada bhi nahi." (No one can do anything without Devi-Maiyya's wish, not even some Arnav Singh Raizada.")

5. Basically, he is thinking, that, he has shown her place to 'that girl', who had said that he can't do anything without some 'devi maiyya's wish'.

6. This is clear in his reply to Akash's protest for over paying MR . "Meri beizatti karne ki himmat naa kabhi kisi ne ki hai, naa ab koi karega." (No one, has ever disrespected me, nor anyone would, now, have the guts to.) Oh. So, the problem is your ego issue.

I should have known it. Khushi had the misfortune to meet you and now she is paying the price with her reputation and dignity, being butchered like animal slaughtering. You, a__hole.

7. Khushi and her Amma are getting molested by a bunch of perverts.

8. Babuji tries to stop them, but he gets a hard push, which results in Shashi losing his balance and his head hits a nearby pole.

9. The men are very adamant and one of them tugs at Khushi's dupatta.

10. There. A man, wearing, a beautiful shiny brown pair of office shoes, with a matching pair of trousers, is shown stepping down from somewhere. He starts walking (towards the scene?)

11. A Turquoise bracelet gleaming in his right wrist. (why the fck isn't he wearing his wedding ring?) He is shown from behind some -shops?- He walks upto where babuji had fallen down. He helps him to stand up.

12. Wow. Daiyya Ho! What an entry.

13. Everything aside. Aabhaas looks so fckin handsome in that outfit. Everything. Literally, everything about his look is so freaking perfect. The colour combo of the shirt and pant. The shoes. Oh. God. I am in love with those shoes.

IDK. It's just looks so- fantastic?-deliciously beautiful?- I am simping for those, quite literally. Is it normal for some human to simp on a pair of shoes? Whatever. So. Yeah. I was talking about the look. The flare of the pant, as he walks. His haircut. Like. Wow. Absolutely ravishing.

14. And he starts beating those mfs, one by one.

15. After beating those hooligans. He walks back to Babuji, to check up on him. He tells him to get a band-aid for his cut. Babuji is touched by his words and thanks him for the help.

16. Then, Shyam turns to look at where Amma was standing but is transfixed to see Khushi shyly(hesitantly?) looking at him with tears in her eyes, from behind her Amma, just like any other rom-com film, only that, this isn't any other rom-com film. (the Sitar and Tabla BG score used, here, is so freaking beautiful and also kind of suits him coz it sounds something like wicked and graceful.)

17. We can see, he is caught off guard, by the way, Khushi is looking at him; by her beauty. He realizes her hesitation and picks up her fallen dupatta and offers it to her but Amma takes it back. He might have wanted to talk to her but, before that, he is pulled out of his trance, by babuji and they bid him a goodbye.

Khushi turns back to look at him, one last time. Only that, this isn't the last time, they would be meeting. Alas. Khushi as well as we, don't even have an idea about, the depth, of his obsession with Khushi that, will go, after this moment.

18. Look at the absolute contrast, in the way, they introduced both the anti-hero and the main villain. At this point, half of the audience might have already started shipping Shyam and Khushi.

19. The sequence, at Gomti Sadan, is so freaking emotional. Khushi is, again, getting punished for the crime that she didn't even commit. (Or until they think that she shouldn't have left the house at all.)

20. Even babuji cannot come to forgive her, this time. Garima decides to send, both of them, away to Delhi. Buaji, who always had an over-reaction for every situation, was, a minute ago, shouting at both of them to say or do something, to punish Khushi,(She really likes to see Khushi suffering. Bloody sadist.) is shocked. Lol. "Dilli kauno davaai ki pudhia thori haee, ki ghol ke pilaay dio. Sab theek." (Delhi isn't some bundle of medicines that dissolving it in water and making it drink someone, would cure everything.)

21. The moment she realizes that she has to take both of the girl's responsibility, she spits out the water from her mouth. Lmao. She tries to convince both of them but is not successful. Her discomfort is so visible, as she gets to taste the result of her instigation. LMAO. LMAO. LMAO. Buaji ab maza aaya? Lol.

22. Anjali comes in with a thaali, diya and some incense sticks burning. Arnav is immediately irritated at the sight of his Didi (initially he used to call her 'didi' then he resorted to 'Di').

23. She asks about whether he ever thought about the well-being of 'that girl' before creating such a huge ruckus and Arnav, I think, is caught off guard.

24. We are immediately taken to 'that girl', who is so innocent that she could not even think that her 'woh' had released those 'taswirein'.

25. She vows to find out who was the one to release them.

26. Deepali's foundation was so off, in this scene. (Literally, her face looks so pale.)

27. Payal asks Khushi, in a challenging(or admonishing?) way, that how will she find out, ready to scold her, for even mentioning to do something else, lest it worsens the already messy situation, they are in.

28. Screen cuts to Arnav, still in his thoughts (maybe regretting? Lol. No.) as he comes out of his reverie and says " Soch ke hi toh kiya tha." (It was a thought out move.)

29. Liar. (Liar, pants on fire. Lol.) No. You were not thinking when you ordered for those videos to be released, Arnav. Why are you lying then? Tell your Didi that you did it, in a fit of rage, to show 'someone' that you actually hold a lot of power. Bloody b_stard.

30. Lol. "Ab aap apna yeh 'naari mukti morcha', yahan mat nikaliye, yeh mera office hai." (Now, please don't start your 'Women's Liberation March' here, this is my office.)

31. Lmao. The brother-sister banter is so heart warming and fun to watch :)

32. Both Khushi and Payal reach the office of 'Khabrein 24x7' (News 24x7). Khushi, is nervous, and clutches Payal's hand in fear. Payal understands her distress and smiles victoriously, that now she will be able to convince her sister, to return back to their comfort zone.

33. But, her sister is more courageous than she seems to be. And, true to her nature, she tells Payal to take a seat and walks up to the reception, gulping nervously.

34. She asks to have a word with their company's 'maalik' (owner). But, the receptionist tells her, for that she would have to go to Delhi.

35. After a few minutes of deciding, when she wants to talk, to the receptionist again, she tells her to wait for sometime without paying any attention that she is 'the same girl'.

36. Sometime later, the workers of the office realize that Khushi is that 'TV wali ladki' and they start mocking her and make fun of her situation. They circle her in the center of the office and keep laughing.

37. Payal is disappointed and reduces to tears immediately, she quickly walks up to Khushi but loses the courage to take her out of it, as her feet get frozen, due to the nervous-ness, by all that negative attention, that, they are getting.

38. Khushi noticing, that her sister is getting affected by the mess that they have managed to land into, speaks up. She, while shedding tears, knocks some sense into them. And they are.....umm, immediately regretting it? No realization?

I mean to say that they could have shown them realizing their mistake, like, they could have taken some time? Then, that, 'sorry we were wrong' could have made much more sense. Did you too feel that? No? Only me? Ok. Leave it. (Pata nahi choro.)

39. So. Yeah. They 'feel' sorry immediately. And regret it. But, Khushi does not want their apology. She wants the answers which she had come for. They reveal that they got the orders from the higher authorities ('Woh clippings release karne ke orders upar se aaye the.')

40. Khushi asks who send them those clippings and is unsurprisingly shocked. I know. I don't make sense. But. Let me explain. See. She is so naive, that, she didn't even realize the extent of power and influence that ASR commands.

Just because, she got to 'talk' to him personally, in a fairly public place (The Dargah), without any appointment, in his own office, doesn't mean that he is not 'that' much influential. It's just, he chose to have a conversation about the topic with her. He could have easily ignored her. But, he didn't.

So, my point is, she could not even come to think that only he would be the one, who could do this, even after, getting into a heated argument with 'The ASR'. She had already started treating him like an acquaintance. Like, he is a random normal person, just like her. And, not some Business Tycoon of the Fashion Industry. She had already started treating him like an equal, like a normal person, of her 'status'.

41. So. She's shocked. Screen stops at her face. Precap begins. *quickly pauses it* Spoilers. (Although I had already watched it once earlier *smiles nervously* I am not a hypocrite, okay? I had watched it out of excitement.)Ok. Bye.

Actually I remember doing thick linearts before to make it look like y2k bubbly styled and I was thinking of going back again since I wanted to make logos or icons like this one:

These ig were just a lil practice if someday I'll be making one (or more of these). Also this is just an example btw, these are artist-made game icons. Imo, if it were me to be commissioned to design one or if I was assigned by a game dev, then most likely its gonna look like something that y'all won't know who did that thing lol.

Besides, I'm pretty sure a lot of people were inspired by my artstyle. 😭 Also in case you guys don't know what these are, I'll show you guys mine. (NOTE: You can still check on archive, I don't mind though-)

The first one was Hatsune Miku fanart

I kinda remember drawing this back in the day since 2023, the sketch version (on my other sketchpad) was discontinued. Supposed to finish it but, sadly I gave up because the hair was something that reminded me of an Inkling from Splatoon (rarely I noticed the first miku fanart also reminded me too lmao).

Okay LISTEN, I may not be good at anatomy but might as well tried especially RED's head. For the BG, I only duplicated the character + added a screenshot/fakescreenshot/whatever, to make it look related to both y2k & frutiger aero (same applies to Hatsune Miku).

Nothing to say much but I've been thinking of making more character concept arts in the future & maybe work on shoes since they look a bit too complicated much.

Overall, I'd say it isn't bad. I'll just leave as it is for now (until some BRC fan shows up and sees this).

Last but not the least, my very first artist-made album cover

I remembered drawing this for future use if I ever find a music composer either if they can do DnB, game soundtrack or whatever but it slightly depends on them. Also shout out to Lxchee Music! They're the ones who compose music like these. They even commented on my speedpaint video!!! (after using their songs lol).

Such a shame that I am limited to drawing only however, I wish I also was a composer of this whooooooole album then everyone's gonna listen to my bangers. One time I used to make music in Beepbox.co (a website where you can compose there).

There are some music-composing softwares that most people use for their game making & also songs. I wish I'd even use FL studio or other music-composing. Reminds me, I also have one friend who makes music (unrelated to dnb or any genre) using accordian & any other instruments that he uses. I swear, he is so good in composing Nintendo Orchestra-music related I can tell.

Conclusion

No worries though, I didn't say I hate using thick lineart but its sometimes too much for the anatomy still and might not fit pretty well. I can still do another one hopefully just to focus on more y2k aesthetic. But if it were me to learn anatomy, might as well use thin lineart and just increase to make it look like there is perspective on it.

can just complain about 6-2 for a hot minute?

I hate hate HATE that they took a throwaway gag line in 4-4 where Phoenix is like "wait, were there actually MORE APPRENTICES??" and Valant is like "lol no that's dumb" AND THEN DID IT ANYWAY???

excuse me that is just. that makes me mad

also! I don't mind Apollo being afraid of heights, honestly, but like. Phoenix is already afraid of heights and they gave Apollo the new phobia of large bodies of water *why* must we endure Apollo also being *this* terrified of heights??

like the line in AJ has him scared but like. Not THAT scared. He still climbed his ass up there and all!! I do not believe SoJ Apollo would have done that ever. it feels like yet another point where they skimmed more than actually checked AJ's script

and THEN like, why didn't we get Mr. Hat as an evidence??? it would've proven without a shadow of a doubt that there was a goddamn sword up in the balconey!!

for that matter, WHERE'S ALL THE BLOOD?? if that man got stabbed by being zipped up to the roof, then WHERE'S ALL THE BLOOD??? Ema you're our forensics, pLEASE tell me where all this goddamn blood disappeared to!!!

great opportunity of having Trucy in the defendant's seat, totally wasted because all of Apollo's cases have a ridiculous amount of moon logic to them

also I know Reus is an asshole and that's the point, but how the hell did he manage to get everything in the Wright Agency slapped with a "repossessed" label in like less than a day??? I feel like that's the law thing I can't suspend my disbelief about there have to be more checks in place for that sort of thing

I'm also still mad about the whole "see that shadow in the bg that's *obviously* going upwards that we caught on tape?? yeah that's totally Trucy thrusting a sword downwards into the victim as if it could be anything else" like bitch!!!!

I feel so bad for Apollo my bud, my dude, just constantly handed cases that are like "you don't get all the evidence that makes sense, buckle up kiddo" and how much internal screaming he probably does because of it

I feel like it was only this case because, again, Apollo is *always* handed the cases with the most moon logic. dunno why, but it is consistent. he is cursed.

the weirdest thing that happens in later cases (at least, it set me off-balance) was not getting the murder weapons as evidence in your notes, but that's a gameplay thing because, like, not used for any of the puzzles, so why would they give you extraneous pieces of evidence hahaha

Oohhh my first BG request lmao but yeah thank you anon! I love how you requested my svt bias too, I ALSO loved the request idea, so I hope I did it justice :,) also sorry it's a tiny bit late!!!

Pairing: Seventeen’s The8/ Minghao X (gender neutral) Reader.

Word count: 2,088

Genre/contents: Horror, Paranormal, Mystery(?), Paranormal investigators/streamers lol, kinda light-hearted, kinda not light-hearted idk, angsty?

TW: Murder depictions, dead body (not very descriptive but still), implications of cannibalism, dismemberment, basically multiple murders but it’s more of a mention. I don’t describe any of that, foul/mature language, disappearance implication(?), if I’m missing any- I am sorry please let me know!

Note: quick spoiler lol don’t read unless you with don’t care about spoilers or until you’re finished reading. Anyways; no one dies in this except the unnamed victims of a crime I made up, don’t let the ending fool you, I would never do that to Minghao, I love him :,((( It’s more up for interpretation unless you’d like a part 2 then I can do that for sure.

Btw, the people talking at the very end is also up for interpretation. Could be two other svt members or really anyone you imagine. Also, up to you do decide whether you and Hao are a cOuPle or just friends, I wasn’t too descriptive in the department on purpose lol

“Testing, testing.”

“I hear you, do you hear me?”

“Yep. Is your body cam on?”

You waved a hand in front of the camera adjusted around your waist. Minghao gave you a thumbs up, viewing the footage from an app on his phone.

“Cool. These camera’s are pretty high in quality too. We’ll be able to catch any ghosts and how many fingers they have.” Minghao joked, skeptical about the building you two were investigating.

“Shut up,” You snickered, “Who’s narrating?”

Minghao looked at you, not letting a word slip out of his mouth. You took his silence as an answer anyway.

“Come on, I always do it! Besides, you’re better at it than me.” You rolled your eyes. Minghao smirked after you had said that.

“Finally you admit it,” He cleared his throat as you pressed the ‘record’ button for him. Minghao checked the footage on his phone, making sure it was actually recording before giving you a thumbs up off screen.

“Hello! We are back with another stream- and yes, we are risking possession! Hallelujah! The ghosts are about to meet the best person on this planet and his partner!” Minghao announced, both of you hearing his voice through the head-sets you’ve both set up moments ago.

You sighed, a hand on your forehead as you started to regret not narrating this time.

“And here we have Y/N, already regretting their life choices!” Minghao’s voice echoed in the main lobby. You looked at him through narrowed eyes. He gestured for you to take a turn.

“I’m not- Whatever. We are in that abandoned hotel you’ve collectively told us to visit last stream.” You spoke, not quite as loud as Minghao, but you both heard your voice just fine. “And yes, we are spending the night because we have nothing better to do in the dark hours of the night.”

“Sleep?” Minghao interjected. You slowly smiled, nodding as his body camera was still facing you.

“So, care to tell the viewers what the lore here is?” He started to walk forward, pivoting to give the viewers an idea of what the inside looked like despite the only light in the hotel being the flash from the cameras that were constantly on.

Minghao turned back to see you, a smirk on his face. “Or do you want me to ‘Minghao’ it?”

“What the hell? … Sure. ‘Minghao’ it.” You crossed your arms, accidentally covering your camera, which you immediately uncrossed your arms after realizing.

“This hotel is home to many ghosts! All of whom were murdered because someone had zero regard for human life!” Minghao tapped the bell on top of the receptionist desk.

“Hey! Quiet!” You looked around, wide eyed. Minghao chuckled, “what? Scared of ghosts?”

“No! What if someone hears us?”

“Like… Ghosts.”

You frowned, eyeing him. He smiled, ruffling your hair.

“Relax. We’re fine. We are only here to show the viewers that the rumors of the paranormal are bullshit and then we can go and get our beauty sleep.” Minghao switched from his reassuring tone to his previous loud, animated tone.

“Should we wait for the receptionist or go check into our room?” He spoke for the camera but was waiting for your response.

“Well the receptionist is kind of dead… So let’s go to the rooms.” You scrunched your nose as you had smelled something foul, as if something had been decaying for a while- A smell which previously wasn’t there before.

“Do you smell that?”

“What? Your face?” Minghao joked, laughing a second after. You ignored his joke, unintentionally, as you were more focused on where the smell came from.

“All I smell is dust and mold.”

“No, this smell isn’t either of those, I don’t think.” You pinched your nose, passing him and into the corridor on the left of the receptionist desk.

Minghao stepped in the spot you were previously standing in, taking a whiff of what you were supposedly smelling.

He shrugged it off, not smelling anything different. You looked back at him to make sure he was with you.

“For your information,” You traced your fingers on one of plaques on the wall that read the room number. “No one actually died in the hotel. Their bodies were just buried here.”

“Let me guess, the basement was where their bodies were?” Minghao tried one of the door knobs to the room across from the one you stood beside. It opened without any resistance.

“You didn’t read the facts I sent you?” You sighed. Minghao shrugged, “I did… Sort of.”

You scoffed, walking ahead.

“Hey, if it makes you feel better, I did listen to a podcast about it.”

“Podcast? Did they tell you the bodies were in the basement?” You questioned him, turning around to face him. He shrugged, “more of a speculation. Yes.”

You turned back around, nothing but a dark corridor in front of you.

“The bodies were found in the walls, inside various mattresses, and the free breakfast they offered here.” You opened one of the doors to a room further ahead. The room emitted a gust of cold air, giving you and Minghao chills.

“Found one of the deathbeds.”

You lightly nudged Minghao.

“Okay, for the first time, I will admit there was really no pun intended.”

You glanced at him, reaching for the doorknob to shut the door again. As soon as your hand made contact with the knob, you felt yourself being shoved inside the room, falling to your hands and knees as the door had slammed shut behind you.

You weren’t in pain luckily, but once you had your bearings, you felt agitation fueling within yourself.

“Minghao! Why the hell did you push me?!” You stood up, immediately pulling at the door.

“Woah! What do you mean? I thought you just fell!” Minghao called from the other side. You banged on the door, unable to turn the door knob.

“Let go of the door! This isn’t funny!”

“I’m not touching the door! Did you lock it?”

You felt around for the lock before scoffing as you thought about how that would even happen.

How would you even lock the door if you were falling, let alone slam it?

“Minghao, if you get me out of this room, I promise I won’t kill you when I get out.”

Minghao was silent for a moment. You checked your phone, pulling up the live footage from yours and Minghao’s body cameras.

“One, I don’t believe you.” Minghao spoke up, the door creaked as he leaned his ear against the door to hear you better.

“And two, you know I wouldn’t just leave you by yourself. You get lost easily.”

You rewinded the footage from Minghao’s camera. He had been watching you as you went to close the door.

And the worst part was: He was telling the truth.

“Shit.” You mumbled. Minghao stood on the other side, trying the door knob from his side- which didn’t budge.

“What?”

“You were being serious.”

“Yeah! Step back, I’ll try to kick in the door!”

You did as he said, stepping back at least where the bed was. The door shook and creaked as Minghao’s foot slammed against the door, but it ultimately did not budge against his force.

“Uh, is there any other possible exit?” Minghao asked, his fist banging against the door in defeat. You saw an air vent, but otherwise no other exit was found in the room. That familiar decaying smell from earlier found its way into the room again.

“An air vent- Or duct. Whatever.” You replied, shivering from the temperature in the room dropping again.

“Wanna see if that leads to another room?”

“Hell no! Is the door really not opening?”

“It’s really not opening.” Minghao paced the area near the door, not straying too far in case you were to speak again or somehow get the door open yourself.

“Fuck,” You cursed, covering your nose to attempt to block out the smell. “Is there anything at all in the area that could pry it open?”

“Nope. Just old furniture and dirty sheets and blankets.”

You looked at the air vent, contemplating it further. “Okay, fine. Let me go through the damn vent.”

Minghao detached his body camera, facing it towards himself, speaking in a whisper, “finally. I swear they never listen to me.”

“I can still hear you!” You spoke as he heard you through his headset and vice-versa. You were simultaneously prying the vent open, which was more successful than the main room door.

“Whatever! Are you in the vent?”

“Now I am! Try to get to the room next door! Meet me there!”

Minghao attached the camera back to the straps around his waist and jogged over to the next room, twisting the door knob, which opened with ease. He dragged in a small table from the corridor and propped open the door but did not see a vent anywhere in the room.

“Hey! There isn’t a vent in here!”

You took a moment to respond, coming to a corner, forcing you to turn right. When you did respond, Minghao had beat you to it.

“I think someone is coming! I’m going to hide!”

You stopped crawling, fixing your headset to your ear as it were slipping out of place.

“What do you mean?” You asked, continuing to crawl. “The vent is leading me somewhere else!”

Minghao didn’t respond, but you heard heavy footsteps.

Then a scream that traveled through the walls and through your headset simultaneously.

“Minghao?!”

No response.

“Minghao?!” You repeated once again, pausing your movements to check his body camera footage.

It was too dark to see as Minghao must’ve turned off the flash light emitting from the camera. Rewinding a little, you saw a single bright light and a figure standing a few feet in front of him, hearing the scream once again.

The camera footage went completely dark again but you heard heavy breathing and fast footsteps.

“Minghao, try to get outside! I will find my own way out!”

You continued to crawl forward, eventually finding an exit from the vent that lead you into another room where the main door to the room was wide open.

Getting out and stretching after being in a cramped space, you heard the loud footsteps again. You hid under the bed quickly as the smell had gotten much worse.

Turning on your side to see why it had gotten worse, you gasped loudly- unintentionally, as you saw a nearly decayed body of a human lying beside you.

Your eyes watered in fear, trying not to scream at the fact that there was an actual dead body under the bed. You thought back to all of the places you smelled the same decaying stench.

The receptionist desk, the room that separated you and Minghao, and here. The room you were currently in.

You finally had let out a scream when someone had wrapped their hands around your arm, dragging you out from under the bed.

“Y/N! Where are you?! I made it back to the car!” Minghao’s voice emitted through the head-set just before it had fell out of your ear.

Whatever had a hold on you, wasn’t letting you go, and you couldn’t tell who it was.

One thing’s for certain, it definitely wasn’t Minghao.

“I’m calling for help!” Minghao pulled out his phone after speaking through the headset one last time.

He dialed in the emergency number; the dial tone rang twice before being picked up.

“Hi! We need help, my-“

Minghao suddenly gasped, dropping his phone as the same figure he had ran from had grabbed his wrist harshly, dragging him back inside with superhuman speed before Minghao could process any identifying features or even react to the situation.

Hey can I get your opinion on bg? I like that you're an old-timer (fandom wise lol) and your views are interesting to read. Anyway Louis has made it clear time and time again that he is very aware of what goes on in fandom and what people's thoughts are. He must know that a majority of his fanbase is put off by all the freddie talk. Add to that the fact that it's really not doing anything for him promo wise. So even if he can't end it yet for whatever reason, why do you think there's been this big ramp up and an insistence of talking about him in interviews? When he could have just kept quiet like he did for years?

Lol what I would give to fucking know the answers to these questions.

So as an old timer (like… I was literally online when the OG BG article dropped. I saw that “9 weeks along” written out in the article with my own eyes before they changed it within the first 30 or so minutes of BG) I want to emphasize that nothing else matters because Briana was never pregnant. Everything since the very first pic of them together (“this is for the Sun”) has been fake. Nothing else matters whenever you go back and hit that inevitable point of “Briana was never pregnant”.

But back to your question. Why? Hilariously it almost feels like Louis sorta gave an answer to this today when he talked about the radio stations he goes to that don’t play his music. Sometimes he does shit he doesn’t benefit from, and maybe doesn’t like, to get to do what he wants. I can’t even begin to imagine how complicated Louis’ life is and everything he has to balance. Maybe mentioning the kid was a trade off for being “single” and losing having to talk about Eleanor or get a new public girlfriend. Maybe if he’s seen with the kid he gets to talk about OTB being an LGBT anthem. Maybe he gets to pursue an edgier sound, or add something to the album, or a dozen other little things he might want in exchange for something that at the end of the day he doesn’t think is that big of a deal.

I’ll be completely honest, up until today’s interview the mentions of Freddie hadn’t even registered to me. Louis’ promo was going so swell. As someone who was here for 2016 and 5:20pm Tuesday pap walk pics and 2017 with the whole “his girlfriend, his son” non-stop, I can tell you. This is so different. It’s nothing. What happened today was definitely a change from how it had been going but tbh I think Louis wanted to give as open and honest an interview as possible so I think he might have just been like “don’t ask me about Harry Styles and everything else is fair game” not knowing what Zach was going to run with 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have no clue if this is going to end up going anywhere. It would be excellent if BG could just fucking end already. But if this is the new status quo, as long as Louis looks happy and he’s enjoying his music, I’m gonna trust that he knows what he’s doing with his life.

my fist couple of Tavs were just me figuring out the game, more as a player than truly roleplaying as I tried to cover all my bases and see what kind of options they are. Et Al was my first tav I actually started putting some effort into the backstroy for so if you'll let me ramble under the cut a bit

Half Orc obviously. The orc half of their parentage was their father, who died when they were around 8(? or half orc equivalent, I know they have slightly shorter lifespans) and this ended up being very difficult on their mother as the rest of the area they lived in was pretty homogenous, mostly humans w occasional dwarves/halflings but Et was basically the only halforc in their whole community. (I gave them the Acolyte bg, but for some reason that still gives you the baldurian tag which? i don't get. the temple their devotions to is dedicated to Bahamut, and it's pretty remote, kind of like how we see the temple of Lathandar is, with only the community surrounding them). I am not sure about their relationship w their mother, still figuring it out, but I guess it depends on how old they were when they were sent to temple, whether it was because their mother couldn't handle it anymore or if it was Et who couldn't handle it and wanted out.

But the stoic/reserved essence of a monk was seen as "good" for them in the sense that (sometimes well-meaningly implied, sometimes outright said to their face by their peers) it would "control" their "natural orc aggression". (Emergent roleplay due to the fact that orcish intimidation proficiency was my only social skill, so that's why I ended up picking when there were no monk "let's all calm the fuck down" dialogue options, lol). Unsurprisingly, they came to resent that, know that they're unfairly being asked to repress their emotions in order to not "frighten" or make the people around them uncomfortable. So, they definitely have a perspective on the world that people, even "good" people, can can end up being cruel. While playing I kept thinking of the "aren't you tired of being nice? don't you just want to go apeshit?" "NO! I am tired of everyone else being MEAN!"

I said before their father died, but it was more a "missing presumed dead" situation, which means they have this noble, idealized version of their father they've always held onto, something the Emperor found easy to exploit. (This was also the first time I put some effort into the dream guardian, thinking what their relationship to Tav would be.) So having this person who looks always kinda like how they thought their dad might look like, encouraging them and telling them they're on the right path, they were basically putty in his hands. Which made the reveal in act 3 the sharpest turnaround (the emperor Making The Moves now became the biggest yuck)

So they really jived with Wyll after his transformation, because they 100% understand and empathize with a persona who is trying their fucking hardest to be good, but the world who hates them for their background and instant assumptions makes that so so hard. Also, due to their mixed upbringing difficult relationship w their mother, they've always longed for the idea of a strong, stable family life. Epilogue where the option to say "I want to start a family" you know I was hitting that option so hard.

ive already done vastgiver But. you dont know them... not truly... so ill tell you about them!!:D u dont have to read this ramble of mine ofc, but, i wanted to talk about them with someone again and You said the word vastgiver to me so You get to unleash the horrors!!! it will be very ramble-y and incoherent hehe

vastgiver is my oc third vast attempt x my friend's oc lifegiver, hehe, both are iterators (rain world robots).. silly guys.. getting derailed already but. how wild is it that weve just!! been existing together for such a time!! like three years?? idk but. weve known each other for such a time!! n youve known fousek for that long as well... my boy fousek... Our boy fousek... wild tome...

so! vastgiver. tva, my beloved asshole tva, and lifegiver talked one time before meeting puppet to puppet. it was just your normal chat, asking about how lifegivers doing and what his whole deal is. a budding friendship, perhaps..? WRONG. tva then tried to kill his local group (comprised of two other iterator ocs of mine) (bg gave him access to their security systems, for reasons that would take long ot explain, which if youre interested in i would tell you but this is a vastgiver post hehe, and, then once tva had that access, he turned off their water supply, for funsies! bg and ui share their can), who then sent out an emergency broadcast all 'AHH HELP WERE BEING KILLED' and of course many iterators heard that. two other iterators from my friends went over to ui and bgs can to help them, and one other friend's oc went over to tva's can to laugh at him. and then lifegiver.

lifegiver made his presence very much known. he started drilling through tva's can with a gigantic mechanical beast, which is like, imagine someone drilling through you. imagine meeting your partner like that. lifey was especially mad because tva's doings reminded him of a personal experience he had with his local group.

he was soo angry, and, eventually, drilled his way into tva's chamber (where his puppet/body resides). he came out of his beast, yelled at tva and my other friends oc (who he was also angry at bc vivi wasnt helping at all and was rather annoying) a bit and then STABBED tva through the head!!! imapled him!!! and then tva umm. hehe. the first bud of their romance sprouted

'Itd be super hot if we kissed right now' my guy theres blood all over you and lifey is gonna for sure stab you again. tvas thought process was 'hey if hes gonna kil me i can at least make him feel as uncomfortable as possible' . anyway. this startled lifey. he didn't expect this, naturally.

'Your poncho is quite fashionable' yea sure tva whatever just die already. then lifey says 'you disgust me so much i hate you just fucking die id kill you right now i will kill you' . and at this point tva was so intrigued by lifey that he said, hey, if you let me live i'll umm not kill those two! how does that sound . and ofc lifey said Yes. so 👍they tva used this as a way to convince lifey to stay and talk with him a bit. and they talk. not about feelings but like, how cool and swag lifegiver is, tva praises him a whole bunch . n then tva is like Hey my can will collapse anyway from the damage youve done lol, and lifey fucking!!! says that his friend could fix him!!! like tva is just like 'ohhhh youre so swag and a hot babe youre so swag' and lifey already starts to get feelings for him . hilarious to me. of course this meant nothing to tva in the moment. then, uh oh, tva has lost too much blood! lifey goes over to him n just, holds him and chats with him as this puppet of his dies, ea comes and is like Hey i stole your fucking ball idiot. and tva goes nooo not my ball!! and dies. and lifey is sad about it.. holds his puppet so gently.. then ofc tva had other puppets prepared, so, he just woke up in another one, went back to lifey, hung out with him some more, their bond deepened, lifey even fuckinggg said 'i love you' !!!! im not kididng you.. tva calls lifey all kinds of silly nicknames, one of them being 'lifey wifey' which makes lifey almost as mad as he was when threatening to kill him. n then they nap for two cycles and lifey has to leave.

and then umm. 👍well tva's can falls . he sends out a broadcast which is him going FUCK THIS SUCKS. LIFEY HELP n lifey Does help he comes over to the wreckage of his can and ressurects him and tva realizes, oh, this loser really does love me, huh. n cries and sobs and they hug and hehe lifey takes her to his can:3 so that she'd be safe from danger .. then they go on a silly little date where they KISSY

they KISSY!!! and tva also met lifeys little brother.. n before that she also met some of his slugs, which lifey introduced tva to as his 'mate' bc he didnt know how else to, bc that was the only yword the slugs iunderstood, and hee theyre so silly tva was teasing him so much the whole time even before that. this is al happening in like the span of 30 cycles btw. which is, like 30 days, say. can oyu believe this.

after that umm they go back home and lifey says that hes prepared a room for tva in his city and tva says he'll find it himself and hes like Fuck Fuck Fuck this guy really cares for me Fuck so he goes and rips out a part of his core.👍gives himself a little ol lobotomy... to forget he ever did anything wrong.. lifeys overseer sees but doesnt act immediatly. tva has a litlte ol nap.

and man i really like what comes next. so. lifey after a few cycles goes and cuddles with tva, tells him ohh i love you so much. and he knows what tva did t this point, or suspects, at least. and tva is sooo happy. n then lifey touches his ribcage and notices its been opened n is like. hey did you open your ribcage. and tva goes haha no. n lifey displays the overseer photos and goes what the fuck is this then. huh. complete shift in tone. i love him. umm then they fight🧡this small arc ends with lifey getting tva another core.

then uhh . um. hehe. uhh. they fight bc its revealed to the publc that lifey saved tva. and lifey is upset about this ofc. and tva comes to visit him, they fight, lthey both ell a bunch ateach other, tva storms out but then storms back in n shows his core and yells If you really hate me that much then just destroy my core and kill me!! and umm . lifey damages his own puppet severely👍tva manages to fix him . n umm . stuff happens, lifey gets sad and tva proposes to make him feel better. were at 60 cycles at most here, dude. two months.

lifye says yes and!! thast whats happening in the rp rn:D!!! tvheyre getting married!!!! dude theyre getting married!!! in the middle of the vwedding tva just. fucking. fucked it up. "hey what if you wanna divorce me later. what if i kill again. what if i told you i liked killing them. haha jk. unless." but theyve resolved it👍

I was bored at work so I did some design work for Side Character Syndrome (SCS), which is going to be a future project. Hopefully. Totally not swayed by everyone who gave me positive feedback once I told them the idea. I whited out their names because my hanzi choosing method embarrasses me.

I worked on a lot on Exorcist Killing Lie (EKL) this week, which is great because Battle Action Fantasy VN Jam 2023 is starting in a little over a week! Join us for a month of shounen trope indulgence and battle VN making!

Two monsters will be showing up in the world I've created for EKL. These were the original sketches for their designs.

Don't worry, I've reworked them lol. Each monster has a mini story attached to them, but I'll tell those another day~ Perhaps you can guess based on their designs?

I was able to finish up all the "planned" art for EKL fairly quickly since a lot of it were simple silhouettes.

My "planned" CGs are thumbnails I made in early April. The remaining unplanned work was due to it being the major fight scene for the game and I didn't know (at that time) how to portray it.

I ultimately decided on making the fight scene in the format of a scrolling webtoon, to just... fully embrace the comic/manga aesthetic of this game.

I haven't gotten that far yet, but here's an example of how it goes from thumbnail -> digital sketch -> lineart

Oh, and I finished writing the first draft of SYVNH!! 's main story There's a short after story that'll be included, too. 😊 ...I'M SO CLOSE

chisme time lol

Listen even if they missed by aiming at that a specific blogger who hadn't made the point they thought they made, that was still a good point and also hilariously relevant to recent shenanigans in my meatspace bc uh. My partner's dad's girlfriend's son's (now ex) boyfriend (lol) just had a related foot-in-mouth moment.

We (all of the above) were listening to a vinyl after waiting several months for the occasion. We were keeping mostly quiet as the songs played (mostly cause we used the good speakers and FIL set them loud as fuck), but taking breaks after each face and made it clear to the son + boyfriend who aren’t into the artist that (of course!) they weren’t obligated to listen along and could just chill in another part of the house or take off if they didn’t feel like it. They stayed.

Just as Thee Single(TM) was starting out, the bf blurted out the start of one of his extremely superficial anecdotes about some or other expensive ass club. FIL shut it down as politely but also as fast as he could. And also made a point to listen to the anecdote after the vinyl face had run out. Still, cringe was experienced by all. The couple left very shortly after.

I think he was genuinely confused that The Point of the gathering could literally just be the music for over five minutes lol. Doesn't help that he has an extremely pronounced Mexican Equivalent Of A Posh Accent which is pretty much universally loathed by every mexican who lacks it lol.

I think he also underestimated our vape 🤔

AlsoX2 my sources tell me they broke up like a week afterwards �� Not because of this officially, but i wouldn't be surprised if it uh. Nudged things along kinda. And like... I'm notorious for not knowing when it's my turn in conversations and socially clumsy in many ways, I like to think I can recognise and smooth over that in others or at least not hold it against them.
