caitlin, hi!! 馃挏 as the resident femslash rarepair queen, i have something to share. that solo movie poll has me thinking about qi'ra聽again, and then naturally i was thinking about jyn. and then qi'ra and jyn together. idk how they would cross paths exactly, but maybe qi'ra聽needs something done for cirmson聽dawn and jyn is the person to go to. and they meet at a bar and they just click, while also having this silent agreement that, they share similar pain (they're both a bit hardened from their similar experiences of being orphaned/abandoned), but they're not going to talk about it. they don't need to. and they have a one-night stand and it's amazing but they go their separate ways afterwards, and pretty much forget about each other.聽
cut to years later (in this everyone lives au ofc) and the rebellion and crimson dawn's goals are aligning on some mission, so they're working together. and jyn and qi'ra meet again. shenanigans ensue that result in han being like "you hooked up with my ex-girlfriend?" and jyn being like "that's your ex-girlfriend????" (in the tone of voice that's very much like, HOW did you pull someone like qi'ra; but then again, how did he pull leia? jyn may never know).聽

i love and adore this to the deepest possible level and i think i am going to add rewatching solo to my to-do list at some point in the near future, because i am now obsessed with jyn/qi'ra and i have a burning need to write them, thank you for bringing this to my blog and my day
