Wren and Rory were sitting down by the tree, Nana in her favorite chair, and their parents sitting together on the couch. Wren opened up a present from his dad, “A sweater vest, thanks Dad” said the boy as his mom put her hand on his dad’s knee and squeezed, “Alex, we discussed this” said Chrys as she gave him the coldest look in the world. “Son you are going to look just as good as me” said Alex with a laugh and he went to give his wife a kiss on the cheek. “I got you one too baby, no need to be jealous” said Wren’s dad to his wife. “Rory, go ahead and open your present from me, unless you want to open your sweater vest” he joked as he passed Rory her gift from Wren. He’d gotten her some stuff from Lush (bath bombs, face masks, lotions) as well as a charm bracelet with charms on it with each of their family members initials as well as a little charm for Jonah with their anniversary date on it. @missrory

Entryway again - Rory
@missrory
Wren: "Oh my god what did I just do? Am I fucking crazy? They're fucking crazy right?" said Wren pacing back and forth in the hallway.
Rory: Rory had the tip of her nail as she watched hey brother pace. "Nothing, you got caught up in the moment. It's not your fault."
Wren: "Did I kiss her back?" said Wren kinda blacking out here and there as it happened from stress. "Oh my god, I'm a bad person. I'm a horrible person. What is wrong with me?" he said essentially talking to himself. "Why did everything have to be so public. Chanel just promised me she was going to be nice to Valerie" said Wren just word vomiting everywhere.
Rory: " you didn't kiss her back but it took a sec to for you to realize what was happening." She said tapping her chin. ," you're not horrible how were you supposed to know this was going to happen, that Chanel had other plans. " You need a breath." She said softly.
Wren: "What I need is to be sedated" said Wren laying down on the bench. "I can't believe she planned that. They're both so mean. Why did I have to be involved at all" said the boy, slowing down a little.
Rory: " Girls in missions like that don't care who they hurt in the process." She said squatting next to him. " but you're homecoming king, and a super cool they fucked up a good thing."
Wren: Wren sat up and put his crown back on. "You're right" said Wren pulling his sister up onto the bench and giving her a hug. "Nana's going to be so pissed, she loves Chanel" he said with a sigh, "they both did really fuck up a good thing".

Wren came out of the bathroom after throwing up again and rinsing his mouth. He was holding a big bottle of mouthwash in the middle of the day and was making a quick exit back to his room. Then he ran into Rory, “Heyyy, Rory” said Wren with a big toothy smile. “How are you enjoying the trip, you like your roommates?” he asked, hoping she wouldn’t put anything together. She would definitely tell Nana, and it would be a whole thing ... again. @missrory

“RORYYYYYYYYY” said Wren banging at her door. “Open up!!” he called out. He had just been woken up in the worst way imaginable. First of all ... Nana was there. Second of all, he practically started hooking up with Chanel in his sleep only to call her Valerie. He needed some serious help this morning.

Dinner Party at the Bishops || Wren, Chanel, Rory, Jonah
@chrysolites @missrory
Wren jumped up when he heard the doorbell ring and smoothed out his clothes before going to the door quickly, but his mother had already opened it. "Chanel Hampton, as I live and breathe" she said with a kind smile. She was happy that her son was finally together with the girl he never quite shut up about, even as a kid, but she wanted to know what this girl was like. She'd done her fair share of sleuthing online.
Chanel didn't realize how hard it was to find a family-friendly outfit in her closet until tonight. She picked out a cute pink, two piece set (she loved her two piece sets) and made sure to wear the new perfume she bought. Wren had told her to wear something new and she didn't think too much on it. Once she knocked on the door, she straightened out her skirt and took a deep breath in. She shouldn't have been so nervous, but she was. She hadn't seen them in so long so she needed to make a good impression. "Hi Chrys!" she spoke with a big smile on her face. "How have you been? How's work going?" she asked, before looking behind her to see Wren.
Jonah on the other hand was just a ball of stress. This was the first time he was ever meeting Rory's parents, the first time he was in a situation like this at all. Rory was his first and only girlfriend and though they had been seeing each other on and off for years, this news of her parent's coming to town scared him. He knocked on the door and said a little prayer in his head to the gods. Please don't mess this up. Please don't mess this up.
Chrys gave Chanel a tight hug and caught a whiff of the girl's perfume, not what she had been expecting. Wren's room smelled a particular way, and she assumed it had been the girl. She was very suspicious of all that Nana let go down here. "You've grown up so much!" she said kindly, "and work has been great, I just spent the last 3 months in the most interesting location. It was great for my writing and I really connected with the locals" said Wren's mom before Wren came over and took Chanel's hand to lead her into the living room along with his mother. "Mom, Chanel's team is heading to qualifiers soon" Wren added to the conversation, "Very exciting stuff, the teams really good".
Rory was upstairs when she heard the doorbell ring, she got up and saw Chanel at the door. Giving the girl a sweet smile she went to say hi. Wearing the scent Chanel usually wore she was hopefully not to feed any of her mother's suspicions. Then she heard the knock she ran to her fathers side as he opened the door so he wouldn't embarrass her in front of Jonah. "Hi." Rory smiled happy to see him." You must be Jonah." her father moved to the side to let boy in and fixed his glasses to get a better look at him.
Chanel hugged Chrys back with a smile on her face. She missed them a lot, they were always so kind to her when she was younger. Maybe they just felt bad for her cause her parents weren't exactly the best, but she pushed the thought out of her mind quickly. "It's must be so fun traveling everywhere! I'd love to do that someday. But I'm glad you're back, it's been so long since I've seen you both." she looked over at Wren as he grabbed her hand, and nodded once he mentioned cheer. "Oh yeah, super exciting. We won nationals last year, so hopefully we can deliver again. Wren's season just started too. You'll get to see him play, he's like, so good. The best on the team."
Wren blushed a little, "I'm not the best, it's just that no one can tell anyone on the team apart except for me" said Wren being modest. He had been working so hard to really kill it this season, he wanted to push himself. "Jonah!" said Wren going to give his buddy a good dapping up. It was nice that they were all together.
Jonah jumped a little when the door opened, but seeing Rory instantly relaxed him. She looked so beautiful. "Hi. Your hair looks really nice." he repeated back to her softly before looking over to her father. "Yes. Hello sir." he slowly put his hand out to shake her father's hand. "That's me, Jonah Keller. Nice to meet you." he said, hoping he didn't come off too awkward. Jonah smiled at Wren and dapped him up like good bros do.
Chanel smiled back at Rory and said hello. "Ooh you look so good!" she said excitedly to the girl. She turned back to Wren and nodded with wide eyes, "Oh yeah, everyone on the team looks a lot a like. Kinda confusing when you see them running around everywhere, but Wren's the tallest so you can spot him out easy. And he makes the most shots so he's totally the best." she nudged her boyfriend as she explained to Chrys. "It's a fun time."
Rory blushed as she touched her hair, she didn't know why she did that she knew it looked good but him noticing made her blush."Thank you I just got it done." She watched as her father took his hand and gave him his special handshake that's suppose to tell him everything he knows about a man. 'Chanel that outfit is everything." she complimented. Her mother making her way to greet Jonah."So this is the one huh?"she nudged Rory. 'Hello I'm Rory's mother it's nice to finally to meet you."
"I love it." Jonah said truthfully looking at Rory with a big, dorky smile on his face. He kept a smile on his face once her father shook his hand, but he was already mentally freaking out. Turning his attention to her mother, Jonah nodded his head in response, "Hello Mrs. Bishop. It's nice to meet you too." he spoke politely. "Thank you for inviting me tonight." It was nice to be around an actual family, it felt comforting.
Nana came in and pinched her son on the cheeks, "Oh my sweet baby boy is here, I am so happy to have all my favorite people in one place" she said looking around the room. "We have some good southern food, but also a little bit of savory kugel to keep with the Hanukah spirit" Nana announced to the room. "If y'all will join us in the dining room"
Chanel looked down at her outfit and smiled big at Rory, "Oh my god, thanks hun!" she said before Nana came in. She walked to the dining room with Wren and took a seat next to him as everyone was sitting down.
When Nana came in the attention went to her, both Rory and her Mother rolled their eyes at the interaction between him and his mother. "Yes let's go and get to know each other." Her mother said happily as she began to walk. Rory took Jonah's hand and followed suit. Sitting across from Wren and Chanel so they could silently communicate. Her hand still holding Jonah's under the table.
Alex was in blissful ignorance, he was just super happy to be home. He honestly did not even notice his wife or daughter roll their eyes, everybody loves Nana. They were all seated, "So, Jonah ... Chanel. What are your plans for college?" he asked as they started to pass food around. Chrys keeping a watchful eye on Wren's plate. They had been watching him like hawks the whole time they had been home.
Jonah smiled to himself once everyone was seated and he still had Rory's hand in his. The question shouldn't have really came as a surprise, but it did. College was honestly something Jonah didn't think about too much. He was too busy thinking about what was going to happen once he turned eighteen. His foster parent's were super sweet and he hoped they would actually adopt him and his brother one day but that wasn't certain. If they didn't, he'd have to move out and live on his own. He needed to make sure he had enough money. "College?" he asked, trying to come up with some kind of answer that was good enough. "I would like to be a writer." he said. "So hopefully if I have the money I'll be able to go to college and see that through." he answered, regretting how much he said.
Chanel looked over at Wren and Rory's parents and smiled, she also was little stuck when it came to the topic of college, but for different reasons. She just simply didn't know what she wanted to do. "I keep going back and forth with what I want to study. I wanna make sure it's what I love, you know?" she tilted her head to the side, "But I've sort of been thinking about culinary school. I've suddenly got this passion for cooking. Who would've thought!" she said, leaving out the part where she was sort of forced into cooking for herself back at home. Luckily she actually started to enjoy it, but she hadn't talked to Wren about her plans of culinary school. It wasn't for certain.
''Oooh A writer and a possible chef in the family hun, we could be so lucky." Chrys nudged her husband."Mom please." Rory whined. She could see the wheels in her moms head turning and planning their whole life together. "Oh hush, ignore her she's cranky." Chrys never let her smile falter. "Would you guys like wine? or tea to go with this delicious food." Rory gave Wren a what is she doing look before shaking her head and putting food on her and Jonah's plate.
Wren moved his hand to Chanel's knee and looked up at her and gave her a look that said please dear god do not fall for it. He prayed that Rory shot Jonah the same look, and he returned his gaze to Rory. "Nana the food is delicious" said Wren as he picked at what was on his plate, taking a big bite for everyone to see.
Chanel knew what was up. Her own parents would have asked the same question, but they would be serious about it. Or at least her mother would have. But Chanel knew not everyone was like her parents. "Oh I don't drink, but thank you for the offer. Tea for me please!" she said casually. She looked over as Wren took a bite and smiled. Jonah nodded his head in agreement with Chanel, "No thank you. I'll have tea as well." he smiled as he looked down at the food. "It does look delicious." he said before taking a bite.
'Tea it is." Chrys said getting up. Rory was relieved but that lasted a few seconds as Alex decided to speak."So how did these friendships." he did air quotes. "Happen. I want all the deets. I'm saying that right or is it tea, never mind I want the tea guys." he fixed his glasses as nana and Chrys came back with tea and more food.
"Dad" said Wren with a laugh, what a quirky man. Him and his sweaters. Wren smiled at the question though, "I thought Wren and Chanel were going to date when he moved here" said Nana, "and I thought those two were going to get back together. But it seems ... the Bishop children are a little slow paced" Nana added as she tried to put more food on Wren's plate from her seat. Wren shook his head to the food, "Hey now, it's not that we're slow. It's that we like to wait for the right moments" said the boy as he defended the fact that they were both total weenies.
"Look at my little baby of course she was smitten, look at that face." Chrys smiled pointing her fork at Wren. "Rory is absolutely stunning no way he could stay away from my sweetness." Rory shook her head at the comments that were being made." We had to do it with style, you know unforgettable moments?" she wasn't wrong the hoops they had to deal with wouldn't be forgotten anytime soon.
Chanel laughed along with Wren as Alex spoke. He hadn't changed one bit. "He is a cutie." she said with a single nod. "I was a little slow though. Guess I just thought he saw me as just a friend, but I feel really lucky. He's been nothing but sweet to me." she spoke truthfully. "I mean, he's always been sweet to me but he's an amazing boyfriend! Best I've ever had." she let the last comment slip and quickly took a bite from the food. Hopefully they didn't think too hard on that. Jonah looked over at Chanel, feeling nervous for her. "Huh? Oh yeah, Rory's amazing. She was one of my first friends when I got moved out here. I-I guess I was just too nervous to ask at first." he said, keeping out obvious details as to why they just started dating again. "She's incredible. I'm really happy I met her."
Wren smiled when Chanel said he was the best boyfriend she had ever had. It made him feel really good about himself. "Oh, so the Rorster made the first move? That's my girl" said Alex with some pride. He had raised a headstrong daughter, he could not exactly say the same about his son. They were all looking at Wren picking at his food, he had eaten a fair amount for him. "Wrennie, do you want seconds?" asked Chrys with the sweetest smile, "You had a big practice earlier" she added. She looked over to Rory for a little support. "I ate a late lunch, but I'm gonna go refill the water pitcher" said Wren as he got up from the table and went to the kitchen with the water pitcher to avoid having to talk more about his food. "Chrys" said Alex sternly, "We're not doing this right now, we have guests" he said quietly.
"Babe." Rory smiled at Jonah, before groaning internally at the nickname he let slip. Rory had also been watching how he would handle the food. She looked over at her mother then dad before speaking."We were pigging out at the salon, I don't even know how I'm making it through this first place." she lied. "See leave the boy alone." her father spoke waiting for Wren to come back." So are we in love or just infatuated?" he asked trying to put on his serious voice.
Chanel kept quiet once Wren left the room, she didn't know what to say. She didn't like to bring up that subject to Wren, she didn't want to upset him if everything was okay. Chanel believed what Rory was saying and tried to think positively on the situation.
Jonah smiled at Rory once she said babe, but actively chose not to look at any adults in the eye. At least not right now. He started to become incredibly confused when Wren left and it seemed like he was the only one that felt that way. He just sat and awkwardly continued to eat the food before Alex asked that question. He could tell his face was heating up as he chewed on his food. He had just told Rory he loved her at the ski trip, but was he supposed to say it out loud right now? "I-I-I... Yes." he answered, completely flustered. Idiot!
Chanel looked over at the parents and stayed quiet for a moment, "Love? Oh, we... we haven't... I mean I really like him, of course. But yeah, ya know?" she let out a forced laugh.
Wren came in at what felt like the worst time, Jonah was clearly flustered. Chanel was word vomitting about how they hadn't said that yet, "Chanel and I have only been dating like two weeks" said Wren as he put the water pitcher back down on the table and poured himself a glass. Why did his dad have to ask this right now? "Wow, these are some exciting developments" said Chrys as she took a sip of her wine. Jonah and Rory had said I love you, this was ... interesting information. She wondered why she had not heard more about this already. Wren ate some more of his food to please everybody at the table and put his hand under the table to hold hands with Chanel and smiled at her. Nana thought about how excited she was for a nightcap at the end of all of this, a stiff drink seemed very much in order.
Rory sighed eating some more food on her plate. She had lied about eating and she was starving but she knew if she ate too much her mother would catch on. She could already see the conversation about how she didn't tell her about being in love.  "May I ask about your parents? What are they like? Where are they from? Is a family dinner with all of us in a future  I make a delicious lasagna." Chrys prided. " she does, its what she made for the first date and I was hooked. I knew I was going to marry her then."
The mention of parents instantly made his stomach knot up. He hated bringing the mood down with his problems, but he wasn't even sure what to say. "P-Parents?" he repeated back, feeling pressure on his chest. "Uh right yeah, so Corey and Melissa are really nice. My... my foster parents." he specified, the words just kind of came out. It felt wrong to call them his parents. Jesse had already started calling them mom and dad, and he had been here less than Jonah. He wished he was that comfortable to call them that, but it still felt weird. "I'm um, not exactly sure where they're from... but Corey is the principal of the school and Melissa is a therapist. They've been amazing the whole time, I'm very grateful for them." he said truthfully, trying his best to make eye contact with everyone at the table.
Chanel also wasn't too excited to bring up her parents. Chrys and Alex knew her parents already, but she didn't exactly want to talk about them. There wasn't anything good to talk about. "Oh they're doing good. Mom and dad are the same." she lied. More like a half-lie. They pretty much were the same, but things had been very different. "I'm sure my mom would love to see you guys again." she forced a smile on her face, hoping they wouldn't bump into each other while Chrys and Alex were in town.
Chrys and Alex felt instantly bad for what they had asked when Jonah was answering. "Well, your foster parents sound lovely" said Chrys kindly. No one was going to ask any more details from Jonah, they had clearly taken the conversation in the wrong direction. They had no clue. He seemed well adjusted though, clearly he had been through a lot, but he didn't show it too much. Luckily Chanel came in with the distract, "Well, any time your parents want to come by there are welcome here. They've always been excellent company" said Alex in response, was it necessarily true? Not exactly, but they had no idea about the ongoings of the town right now. It hadn't been something Wren had mentioned in their phone calls. "Jonah is an excellent writer, mom" said Wren, "the school paper is great, and it's all thanks to him" Wren added to gas up his pal.
Rory sighed pushing her plate looking at her parents. She knew they meant well they usually did but sometimes they missed the ball. "Mmhmm I have a few issues upstairs if you want to take a look."She was sure her mother had been through every nook and crannie to see what she was up to maybe she read one of the papers. "Chanel is killing it as a cheerleader and with Wren they are the ultimate power couple." Rory said proudly  making herself aware that she didn't participate in any school activities and if she caught on. Her parents were already planning a speech of being more social in their head.
Jonah awkwardly laughed and waved his hands from side to side, "I wouldn't say excellent." he shook his head. "Oh but thank you." he corrected himself. Jonah appreciated the compliment, but he never viewed himself as a great enough writer. It's why he put himself as an editor for the school paper. "I'm more of an editor, but I write up some issues every now and then." he explained to Chrys and Alex with a small smile on his face. "But I mean if we're talking about talent, Rory is the best at designing clothes! I wish I could do that. She's so creative, but I'm sure you all know that already." he said, more relaxed. He could gush about Rory all day.
Chanel nodded her head and continued to eat, "I'll let them know." Another lie. She did not want her mother embarrassing her, she'd already done enough of that. She then smiled at Rory once the girl complimented her, "Aw thanks!" she said cheerfully. "You and Jonah are super cute though. Just a bunch of power couples here." she said, hyping up Rory. If Rory was into Jonah, he must be great.
"Mom, I showed you that jacket that Rory made me the other day. That's just the tip of the iceberg" said Wren thinking about the dope jacket that she had made. Rory was so talented. Sure, Wren had a full resume of high school experiences but Rosy was just so talented in something that could actually be used beyond a resume. "Well, I'm glad you all get along so well, happy that the twins still have such a good bond" said Chrys extending her hand to squeeze Alex's. Nana smiled, "They've really taken well to returning to White Lake" she said confidently. She felt like she was doing a good job, and proud of herself that two very successful parties had been thrown here with no one going to the hospital, thank the Lord himself.
For the most part they were right on the outside it looked like they were striving and adjusting well. "Of course the only time we fight is when he eats my  food that he knew I was saving for later.' Rory sighed dramatically. Chrys nodded happy to hear Wren being associated with food. " It's a Bishop man thing your father does that to me also. You got to be quick dear." She smiled. "So what plans do you have for the winter vacation? Or any hopping parties that are happening?" Alex sat back proud of his lingo even though his daughter looked less impressed.
Chanel wasn't sure if she was doing anything with her parents for Christmas. It was one of few holidays they sort of celebrated together, and that was only because it involved gifts, and Chanel's mom loved gifts. "You know my parents, they love to live in the now." she said, putting it nicely. "I'm not exactly sure what we'll be doing, but I do love a good party." she said without too much thought. Hopefully they wouldn't think she's some kind of crazy party girl, even though she sort of was.
"Corey and Melissa like to go all out for the holidays. The kids really love it." Jonah explained with a small smile on his face. This was also going to be the first Christmas in a while that he was spending with Jesse. "I'm sure they have a bunch of family stuff planned for Christmas day." He then turned to Rory, "I'm sure they'd love if you came over during the break. They've been asking about you like crazy these past few days."
Chrys and Alex knew that Chanel was putting it very kindly that her parents were the flakiest people of all time. They had had their fair share of cancelled plans with the Hamptons. "Yeah the Hampton's big Christmas party" said Nana, going in for that fun correction so that Chanel could save a little face, "I go every year" because Nana also liked to have a good time. "How many kids are your parents fostering?" asked Chrys as she took another bite of food. Alex also turned to Jonah, very interested in his living situation.
Rory nodded, she didn't know what to say and if she didn't say anything then she  couldn't incriminate herself or anyone else. "Have they?" She was a little surprised. "Whenever you want me to come over I'm there. " she smiled before scanning the room, everyone was almost  finished eating and if she knew her parent's that meant they would separate them and talk to them privates.
Chanel looked over and nodded her head, "Yep. It's always a fun time when you're around." she responded to Nana, giving her a face to show she was grateful for the comment. It was always so hard to make her parents look good.
Jonah was pretty much finishing up his meal when he got asked about Corey and Melissa. "The number changes every now and then, depending on if someone get adopted." he started to explain. "Jesse and I, oh my brother, we're the oldest. But there's always a pretty big group of kids there. Kinda feels like Cheaper by the Dozen." he chuckled. This house was the best one he had been in so far. He nodded his head at Rory, "You can come over sometime this week?" he suggested.
Wren was also nervous about everyone being separated and talked to, so he devised a plan for himself. "Chanel will you help me clear the table?" he asked as he started picking up plates for people and heading to the kitchen with a stack. Chrys corrected him, "Chanel's a guest" she instructed her son. "Mom, she eats here like 3 times a week. She's basically family" he said, he almost let it slip that it was like she lived here. She had been basically for weeks. There was a ton of her stuff that he had just dropped off at her house before his parents got home. Chrys allowed the two to head off to the kitchen with plates to start cleaning. Wren put the plates down and gave her a quick kiss, "You look really pretty tonight, I meant to tell you that earlier. Sorry my parents are ... well them" he said looking down at her.
"No problem, im Christmas shopping Monday and mom daughter day is Wednesday so any other day works." She glared at Wren when he took her idea. Rory couldn't think of anything else they could do. "Do you want to get some fresh air before my dad and you have a talk?" Rory said getting up. " Be back in 10 minutes." Chrys stated and keep the backporch light on." She wasn't sure if Jonah and Rory had started having sex but she wasn't going to take any chances
Chanel nodded her head instantly, she was already so used to helping with the dishes, "Don't worry! I don't mind help out at all." she said with a sweet smile on her face. Once she set the dishes down, Chanel got on her toes as she kissed Wren, "Yeah? I haven't worn this in like, forever! Forgot I had it. Wish you could take it off of me." she spoke quietly before giving him a wink. "What's to apologize for? They're great. Everything good with you?" she asked, trying to make it casual as she referred to him leaving for a bit when his eating became a subject at the table.
"Maybe Friday?" Jonah asked before he got up from the seat, "Uh yeah." he smiled and walked outside with Rory. By the time they were outside, he let out a sigh of relief. "Oh god, I feel all shaky. Do I look shaky? Are my palms sweaty? Sorry that's a weird question. I just hope I'm doing fine." he rambled as he paced a bit back and forth. "Do you think they like me? Or, oh shit, do you think they hate me? Don't answer that. Wait no, maybe you should. Be honest."
Wren wanted to take the outfit off her too, he preferred their casual dinners with Nana where they weren't stuck at the table for so long. He put his hand on her waist but didn't say anything, he knew once he opened that door it would be impossible to shut and his parents were in the next room. But then, then she asked about how he was doing. She totally meant the food thing and the little outburst at the table about seconds, and who knows what his parents said when he was refilling the water. "I could be better" he said, moving her against the fridge and kissing her more deeply and moving his hand down from her waist onto her ass. It was a fool proof way to keep Chanel distracted from whatever his parents had said about food at dinner.
Rory watched him as he started rambling, he had done so well at the dinner table she was sure he was nervous on the inside but he hid it so well. She took his hand and pulled him closer to  her, fixing his hair. " I love you and my parents adore you and you look so good tonight." She wrapped her arms around him. "You're doing amazing babe, really." She kissed him softly. Jonah was a good guy and she was sure her parents saw that. " I hope they haven't made you uncomfortable in any way?"
Wren knew Chanel too well. She'd take any opportunity to get a little physical and this was no exception. She smiled against his lips as he began to kiss her, moving his hand down her ass and up her skirt. Once she got started, she didn't exactly know where to draw the line. She wasn't thinking about how they were literally in an open kitchen with his family in the next room.
Jonah blinked a couple times as Rory pulled him closer to fix up his hair. "I love you too." he said with a genuine smile, practically forgetting everything he was thinking about before. Jonah just wanted to make a good impression, this was such a big deal for him. He couldn't mess this up. Hearing Rory's reassurance did help though, he trusted her. If she felt like he was doing a good job, then he'd take her word. Jonah kissed Rory back before shaking his head at her question. "No, I like them." he answered. The only question that caught him off guard was about his parents but that answer was bound to be a little awkward. It shouldn't have even surprised him. "Your dad's pretty funny." he said with a smile.
"Chanel Hampton, the things I am going to do to you later" whispered Wren into her ear as he moved down to kiss on her neck. A few moments later Nana came in and Wren immediately removed his hands from Chanel and went over to the kitchen island, "Nana, hi" he said with a deer in the headlights look. "You two better keep it together, your mother is nothing like she was when they were young. She's forgotten, so keep your hands to yourselves" she warned. Chrys walked into the kitchen, "Keeping our hands to ourselves?" she teased almost. "Mom, it was just a kiss. Nana's just making sure we're not grossing anyone out" Wren lied.
It was nice to have a minute alone with him, she was on edge hoping her parents didn't totally embarrass her, or catch him up with a question that would land them in hot water. Jonah was doing an amazing job with her parents, and they seem to like them so it seemed like the hard part was over. She let her lips touch his once more." Aww young love." Alex interrupted clasping his hands over his chest. "Is it really love or lust, They may mirror each other sometimes." He said." i know i have to..what do kids say curve the ladies." he said with a corny smile.
Chanel quickly straightened her skirt out and stepped away from Wren, unsure of what to say. All she did was nod at Nana in response. She had known Wren's parents since she was young, but a lot has changed, she's changed. She didn't want them to hate her. Chrys's voice made her jump a bit. "Yep. Uh, oh right! I should finish cleaning these dishes." she quickly said as she turned around to the dishes they placed on the counter.
Jonah kissed Rory back before instantly turning his attention to Mr. Bishop as he came by. "Lust? Nonono. Just... love." he said awkwardly. He of course did really love Rory, but he wasn't sure if talking about love the first day he met her parents was right. Was there even a right answer to any of this? Jonah chuckled and nodded his head, "Ah right. It's that winning personality of yours, can't be beat." Maybe complimenting was the right answer.
Wren was deeply uncomfortable to say the least, and he was hiding the most poorly timed boner behind the kitchen island. "Oh Chanel, you don't have to do the dishes, we can just hangout" said Chrys, "I'm still fun old Chryssie" she said with a smile that was all too kind. She was trying way too hard, "Nana and Wren would love to do the dishes, wouldn't you two?" she asked. "Wren would love to do the dishes, of course" said Nana as she was poured herself some whiskey and sat down, "My old bones, ya know" Nana joked and Wren laughed. He felt bad that Chanel was about to be whisked away.
Chrys took Chanel on her arm and led her to the living room, "So Chanel, that instagram of yours" said Wren's mother, "you're such a pretty girl" she said. She meant it as a compliment, but it all came off as vaguely threatening.
Alex nodded," Good love is always better." He said proudly before looking over at his daughter and smiled. " I'm going to let you in on a little secret." He paused and Rory had already started rolling her eyes. " sweater vest, woman love them. Got one for everyday and my wife loves every single one of them." He boasted and rory rolled her eyes again. " im going to go help nana." She excused herself after kissing jonah's cheek.
Chanel smiled back at Chrys, her wanting to hangout must be a good sign. "Sounds good to me." she said, trying to move on from what just happened. It wasn't like his mom actually saw anything. As she walked to the living room, her smile slowly faded. "My instagram?" she asked softly. This was definitely not what she wanted to talk about with her boyfriend's mom. Yeah, she showed a lot, but she was Chanel. Of course she would. "Uh, thank you." she said, forcing the smile back on her face. "That's very nice of you to say."
Jonah relaxed a bit when he got the response he was given. He was doing good. Once Mr. Bishop said he had a secret, Jonah raised a brow, unsure of where this was going. He hadn't even noticed Rory rolling her eyes. "Oh wow, very fashionable." he said with a small smile. Jonah did like this man. He was a goober, in the best possible. "I'll have to make a mental note. Guess you'll be seeing me some sweater vests." he turned to Rory, but that was a lie. He was not going to do that. "O-Okay, yeah. See you soon." he smiled before looking over at Mr. Bishop, the nerves kicking back in. "Um, thank you for inviting me." he said automatically, even though there was a good chance he had already said that. He couldn't remember in this moment.
Chrys was being kind, and Chanel was a beautiful girl .. but there was something to be worried about. "I'm just concerned what colleges are going to think, no shaming or whatever. I'm just saying ... those archaic bastards are not exactly empowering" said Chrys. There was a reason she had chosen writing instead of teaching.
Wren was doing dishes when Rory came in, "Guess we both have to do dishes. I tried my best to get you out of it" said Wren laughing as he tossed her the dish rag to be on drying duty. "So did Dad catch you too? Because Nana had the delight" he joked.
"Don't worry She'll never admit it but she gets her fashion sense from me." He stood in front of the younger man. "I wanted to have a little chat." Alex said not really sure how to do the questioning thing. "I see that you love my daughter and I know she loves you, but are you both past the problems that caused your previous breakup?"
"We were just kissing, no grinding." She smiled. " You lucky it was mom, I can see her now. Oh Lawrence what is going on here..then 2 hours about the birds, bees and everything in-between."
Chanel crossed her arms around her chest, feeling uncomfortable in the outfit she was wearing. Maybe this was even too revealing. Chrys and Alex must have already talked about her before she came, they must feel so disappointed in Wren for being with her. "I didn't really think of that..." she spoke softly. "I guess I do some things without really thinking it through." she shrugged, feeling embarrassed just talking about this. "I must get that from my mom." the words came out before she could stop it. She hated thinking about any kind of similarities between her and her mom, and she did not want to talk about her mom with Chrys, so she simply tried laughing it off.
Jonah's eyes widened a bit but tried to keep his composure. He wasn't expecting Rory's father to bring up their previous breakup, he wasn't even sure how much he knew. Thinking about it made his heart start to race. He just hoped he didn't look as nervous as he felt, "Um yeah, y-yes." he corrected himself. "We're... uh, we're working on our communication." he tried to explain. "I was really in my head about our relationship, but I'm just like that." he tapped his forehead, trying to laugh it off. "We're doing really good. Yeah."
Chrys and Alex had most definitely talked about Chanel before she came over, and they had been keeping up with her through the years online. How could they not? They worried about her, her parents were not exactly inspiring role models. They wanted to see Chanel succeed. "Well, we don't need to talk about your mother. We can just talk about Wren" said Chrys taking a deep breath, changing out one hard conversation for a harder one, "How much had Wren told you about his recovery?" she asked, doing her best to pry in an unrevealing way. It was not working that well, but at least she didn't ask outright how much Chanel saw him eat or when. She was deeply worried about him, especially getting into a relationship which could be another stressor.
"I think she might be giving Chanel the birds and the bees talk right now" said Wren, his heart rate picking up. "I love having them here, but why are we doing this? This is so stressful. They're being interviewed. We're not some book mom is going to write or some seminar that dad is going to teach for gods sake" Wren added with a laugh. Their parents were well meaning but also absolutely ridiculous sometimes.
Alex nodded as he listened. He knew his children and he knew them well they both developed a habit of keeping everything to themselves or just between them. Must be a twin thing because he always talked about everything to his mother and Chrys. "I'm glad that's very important. And are you to intimate? Like having sex?" he threw the question in there like his wife asked him to.  He hoped his angel was still pure, most girls didn't stay virgins this long but she had,
"I could see the title now. How to relate to your teenage twins, school, clothes and sex." Rory grabbed a rag and dried a few of the dishes." I have no idea what dad could be saying, you know he tried to make sweater vest cool." she couldn't belover her father sometimes, she just wantedvto hang out, eat and make out maybe.
"Dad just doesn't understand that we are a turtleneck family" said Wren with a laugh, he did enjoy a good turtleneck. "We should go check their room for a manuscript. I really wouldn't put it past mom at all" said the boy as they finished up the last of the dishes, "Shall we... go snoop?" he asked with a grin and a wiggle of his eyebrows.
"Our heights and length of our necks make us look so sophisticated. "  she raised her brow with a devious smile. "Yes and they left their phones upstairs, we can see what they've been up to." she folded the rag and put in the counter confident they won't get caught.
Chanel almost sighed from relief once Chrys said that they could just talk about Wren instead, but then she heard the question and it felt like a punch to the gut. She couldn't catch a break. "His recovery?" she asked back, only to get more time to answer the question. Chanel didn't know how to answer this. The past few times she wanted to bring the topic up to Wren, she didn't. Maybe she should have talked about this with him. "We don't really talk about it. He told me he went to a clinic." she answered, still pretty flustered. "He's been doing good. I mean, I think he has." she had to add in the last comment, Chanel should have been more on top of this but she didn't want to seem overbearing. "I haven't noticed anything since that time he came over my house after one of those workouts." she let it slip out, referring to the time when Wren came over to "fight" with Chanel but only resulted in him almost passing out. Fuck, why would she bring that up? She didn't want to have any problems with anyone, especially not with Wren.
Jonah stared at Mr. Bishop in silence for a quick moment. What do I say? Did Rory already tell them? Maybe she didn't. Unless this is a test. She might have told them and he's asking me to see if I'll lie or not. Oh god oh god oh god. his mind was racing. "Sex? Oh no, sir." he answered, hoping he was convincing enough. Jonah wasn't the best at lying, especially when he was internally panicking. But he couldn't possibly say yes. They had sex when they weren't even together, and then the rest of that night got him in a lot of trouble. As it should have. "I haven't uh, brought that up yet. We just got back together so... you know." he laughed nervously. Please believe me, please believe me. I don't want to get my ass kicked.
Wren and Rory raced upstairs to their parents room and started opening cabinets. Wren slammed a door shut, "Ew, sex toys drawer" said Wren faking a gag. It was deeply unfortunate, "Why was that the first one, and why isn't it in a bedside table drawer like a normal person??" Wren said as he looked at his sister.
Chrys put her head in her hands before pulling up and pushing her hair back, "Just keep tabs on him, he takes everything so seriously but this" said Chrys. They had been good parents, they had really done all they could to build him up, but it wasn't enough. "It's something he's going to have for the rest of his life, but that doesn't mean that it's always going to be bad" Wren's mother added, "And it's by no means your responsibility. Just be patient with him and tell Nana or a hospital if things get really bad again" she warned.
Rory was happy she wasn't the one to open the cabinets she was sure that's not what she wanted to see. "I don't even..." she shook her head. "Our parents don't know what normal is." She said looking under the bed and pulling out a suitcase. "I'm scared to open this."
Unlike Chrys, Alex was a bit more trusting. If the boy said he didn't deliver his daughter then he believed  him. More importantly he wanted to believe, he didn't want to think of her as anything less than his little girl. And if Jonah was lying he was happy to hear it. He wasn't like  Chrys when it came to that part of his daughters life" Good you guys should wait until never, you know just to be safe." He said half jokingly. " no but seriously  as long as my daughter is happy and you're happy i approve  the relationship."
Chanel was feeling overwhelmed by the conversation. She wanted to make sure Wren was okay but she didn't want to piss him off either. She needed to find some inbetween but all of this was so much. "Was it like, really bad? Back in California?" she asked softly.
Jonah relaxed a bit once Mr. Bishop spoke. Maybe he shouldn't have lied about it, it felt weird to already be lying about something. But it was sex. It would have been weird either way. "I am happy. Very happy with her." he spoke truthfully with a genuine smile on his face. "I want to make her happy too. I really care about her." Jonah nodded, he really wanted this to work out this time. "She is in good hands, promise."
Chrys could see the care and concern in Chanel's face, "Yeah, he passed out during one of his srping basketball games and we had to take him to the hospital" said Wren's mom, "But he can tell you that story in his own time" she added. She put her hand on Chanel's shoulder, "Just watch him but don't make him feel like he's watched, me and Alex are pretty bad about it" she admitted.
Wren was now more curious than ever for Rory to open the suitcase, "If it's bad then you just shut it and put it back seconds after opening it. How bad could it be?" said Wren as he kneeled down next to her, "Just open it, I have to know now" the boy said as his heart rate started picking up for no reason. He had no idea what was in there.
Rory nodded her curiosity usually got the best of her so why would this time be different. Undoing the latches she opened  it."Drug test." she groaned handing her brother a box.   What do they think we do here, party and get super lit." she said a little annoyed. "I wonder if all parents do this or is it just ours?"
Alex could tell he was telling the truth which made him all warm and fuzzy on the inside."Good because I will do absolutely nothing but my wife, she's the scary one out of us and you don't want to have to go against her because of her children." he said softly."I have one more inquiry if you don't mind young man.
Chanel nodded slowly once Chrys explained a bit. Thinking about how they were in basketball season right now made her panic a bit. These were already stressful times for Wren. "Watch him but don't make him feel watched. Right, okay. Got it." she forced a smile on her face. That seemed way easier said than done. "So I shouldn't ask him about it? Maybe not... He seemed good on Thanksgiving which is nice." Oh was she wrong about that.
Jonah could already feel the nerves coming back, "Oh okay... I-I-I'll make sure not to get on her bad side." she nodded a bit frantically. "I uh, don't mind at all." he responded back, but he very much minded. He thought the worst was over, but how bad could the question really be?
"He'll talk when he's ready to talk" said Chrys, her guard coming back up. She didn't need to divulge all her son's secrets to his girlfriend. "And make sure you keep up with Rory and Nana, I've read a lot about eating disorders and lying is a huge part of keeping up appearances. So if he says he ate with Rory, or Nana gave him dinner. Just check up later" she suggested. "Other than that, please don't get pregnant. You both have a lot going for you right now, and I'm just going to put that thought out there".
"Drug tests? What are they going to test Nana too? What the fuck" said Wren rolling his eyes. "This is so annoying" he said, "If anything they should be happy I get high and have the munchies".
"I would love to see that exchange between those three." she chuckled." I really don't see the point of these." she shook her head, Rory knew some kids their age had drugs problems but they had to know the twins weren't like that.
"How is Wren, is he doing well?" Alex wanted to see without asking, he didn't want to push their son but if something was wrong he highly doubt Wren would come to him or Chrys would be the first ones to know, shit he might be surprised if he was the last one to know]
Chanel listened carefully, trying to take in everything at once. She knew she could go to Rory or Nana about it, but she always felt kind of weird doing that. It was like she was going behind Wren's back, but everyone just cared about him. "I will." she promised. Chanel couldn't help but laugh after Chrys's last statement. "My mom already told me the same thing, and my now my dad. A few times." she sighed. "That's definitely not gonna happen, trust me. Gotta keep my body like this a little longer. More like a lot longer."
Jonah furrowed his brows at the question, he wasn't expecting to be asked about Wren. "Wren? Oh yeah, he's great." he answered with a smile. Jonah had no clue what was going on with Wren and he was still thinking about what happened while they were all eating. It seemed like he was the only person that was confused about it. "He's really good with basketball from what I've seen and is class president. Oh he's also in a band, he really good on the drums." he went on, not sure if this is what Mr. Bishop meant by his question. "Is everything okay with him?"
"I always liked your parents" Chrys half lied, they were fun but they were not the best people. She should probably get coffee with Tiffany anyway, "I'll try to catch up with your mom while I'm here, but Chanel you know you are always welcome here. I know your parents aren't home often and Nana is more than hospitable to you and Taron and all Wren's new friends that he magically made when he got here. Not that he isn't great, but the kids here were so mean to him when he was little" said Wren's mom, "I'm so happy to hear he is doing as well as he is" she added with a kind smile. She was thankful her son had so many people looking out for him, it made her feel better about being away all the time.
Wren got up and looked out the window carefully to check on Jonah and Dad, "We need to wrap it up" he said as he double checked that everything was back in place. "Getting caught isn't going to go well" Wren added nervously, "they're probably not even going to test us".
"Of course, im just checking in on him to making sure he's doing well. He seems very active in school I just want to make sure he's not overdoing it. He needs to have fun too." Alex smiled. The twins were the independent types of something was wrong they never knew until it was too late and he didn't want that to happen again...especially with Wren. "Thank you for looking out for them. We should head back my mom made brownies."
Rory nodded closing the suitcase and pushing it back under the bed and getting up. "I really hope not." She made her way out the room. Closing the door. "Let's go save our beaus."
It was nice to hear that someone liked her parents, even if it was a lie or not. They definitely brought mixed feelings out of people. But even though Chanel had a complicated relationship with her parents, it hurt when she heard people talk negatively about them. She could cause they were her parents, but it was different when it came out of someone else's mouth. "They like you too." she said back. Chanel parent's at least remembered Chrys and Alex after all this time, that meant a lot in itself. "Thank you, that means a lot. Really." Once Wren left, all she had were Taron and Sophie's family. She appreciated everything they did for her, but she knew she had to be such an annoyance to the Bishops and Hayworths. "Everyone loves him, I can't think of one person that has a problem with him." she shook her head, it was about time people saw how amazing Wren was.
"I understand. We have a little friend group that hangout and play video games." Jonah explained with a smile, hoping that would somehow show that Wren was having fun and not overworking himself with school. "Oh you don't have to thank me. I just really care about them." he said truthfully before heading back inside the house. "I do love brownies."
"That is so good to hear, really" said Chrys with a smile across her face, not that Wren being liked was difficult. It was just a worry when they sent him back to White Lake. "Well, Nana made brownies" she said getting up, "So grilling session is over" she said with a laugh, "Just be careful with him, he's ... delicate" said Wren's mom as she led them back to the kitchen where Nana was waiting with a whole plate of brownies.
Wren and Rory headed down the stairs and into the kitchen before anyone came back, "Oooh, brownies" said Wren enthusiastically picking one up and taking a bite before putting it down and distracting people with conversation, "So, Chrismukkah?" he said to the room, "What are we thinking? Divide the house in half this time? Or mix the decorations?" he asked.
Rory followed her brother and picked two up  but she actually ate the first one.She closed her eyes and enjoyed the chocolate goodness"I say we mix the decorations. Last time we did half and half everything clashed." Rory said putting the rest of the brownie in her mouth.
Alex made his way to his wife and whispered the information he found out. " Wren is doing well here and Rory is still a virgin but most importantly someone thinks my sweater vest are cool. So its obvious you and Rory were wrong."he said happily  grabbing  a piece of brownie.
Chanel smiled and followed Chrys to the kitchen, "I will." she answered with a single nod. "Brownies!" she exclaimed as she skipped over to Nana. "Your brownies are the best!" she said cheerfully as she took one of the brownies from the plate.
Jonah walked into the kitchen and smiled at Nana, "Thank you." he said as he grabbed a brownie and took a bite. He turned over to Chanel and gave each other a look. They were both winded from the separate conversations they just finished having.
Wren put his hand around Chanel's waist at they had the discussion, worried about whatever his mother had said. "Mixed decorations for sure" he nodded in agreement.
Chrys gave Alex a look, "Wren is doing well, Rory ... I'm on the fence about that virgin claim but he looks nervous enough, and ... do not get me started on the sweater vest. That is coming off as soon as we are upstairs" said Chrys with a quiet laugh as the two conferenced.
"You okay?"Rory whispered as she moved closer to Jonah. She wasn't sure what her father had said but she wanted find out. "We can go tree shopping...and find a theme." She said excitedly.
" I'm too scary to lie to babe." He shot a her a smile." If you want me naked then thats all you have to say." He turned his attention back to the kids. " Okay.  Okay you two or more than welcomed to join so they don't go overboard.
Chanel wrapped her arms around Wren for a moment, hugging him from the side before taking a bite out her brownie piece. "Rory's great with decorations, but I can't pass up an opportunity to tag along. It helps me get into the holiday spirit!"
Jonah placed his hand on the small of Rory's back and leaned in closer to her to speak, "Yeah, I'm fine." he answered with a smile. "But I told him we didn't have sex so if they ask you, right now, we're holy virgins." he whispered quickly, looking around to make sure no one heard. "I'm happy to join." he told Mr. Bishop politely.
The evening ended with decorating and Christmas music. A lovely evening at the Bishop house.

Strip Truth or Dare
SETTING: the girls lobby had been vacant of chaperones all night. Nana knew the kids deserved to have some actual fun, and she convinced the other chaperones to either go to bed early or go to the bar in town with her to have some fun and stay out for the evening.

Wren: "Nose goes" said Wren as everybody put their finger on their nose for who had to go first. "Kelly, sorry my dude. But you are going first" Wren said with a smile. He was glad it wasn't him, but he knew he'd be up before he knew it anyways. "So, truth or dare?"
Kelly: "Ah Damn it" Kelly said shaking his head. "Uh, Daree"
Chase: Chase was coming in clutch for Riley, "I dare you and Riley to switch shirts for the rest of the game" dared Chase, "or you can strip in general by not doing it" he teased.
Kelly and Riley: Kelly couldn't help but smile at the dare. He had a run in with riley the previous night and they really connected. "Sure, I'll switch, but I dunno if her blouse will fit me" Kelly pointed out as he took off his shirt. Riley didn't mind either, "It stretches." She said with a smile as she pulled her shirt off and swapped with Kelly. "So Riley, Truth or Dare?" The boy questioned. "Truth." She replied. "Ever have a crush on a professor?" Riley nodded. "Of course, The gym teacher back in freshman year. The young one." She said. "Nel, truth or dare?"
Chanel: "Dare." Chanel said with a big smile on her face, she always enjoyed a good game of truth or dare. "Make it good please." she said out to the group with a single nod.
Riley: Riley smiled, "Give the person sitting across the circle from you a hickey."
Chanel: Chanel looked across from her to see Stevie and Juliette and the choice was obvious. Chanel got up and sat next to Stevie, "Excuse me." she said to Juliette. She pushed Stevie's hair off her shoulder and began to suck on the girl's neck. Stevie was just trying to show no emotion because, ya know... Once she was finished, Chanel winked at Stevie and went back to her spot, "You're welcome, hun." Stevie looked over at Juliette for a quick second before looking around the room. "You're next, babe! Truth or dare?" she asked Wren
Juliette: Juliette showed no emotion, but on the inside she was a whole ass mess. She just sat there and smiled and woo'd and oohed with everybody else.
Wren: Wren didn't have to think about it, but he was definitely a big weenie and a truther through and through. "Uh" he said like he was actually thinking about choosing between the two. "Truth?"
Chanel: Chanel remembered Chase brining up how he already knew about the lil nutting incident, so she wondered what else they talked about in there, "You guys ever talk about me in your group chat?" she asked Wren with an innocent smile, looking over at the rest of simp nation.
Jesse: Jesse looked away from this intense moment
Wren: Wren quickly made eye contact with Stevie and then Jesse and then Jonah and then Chase, "... pretty often" said Wren looking over to her and giving her a dorky smile. "Only positive things, mostly advice" he added before quickly moving on. "Asher, truth or dare?"
Asher: Asher had a coy smile as Wren asked him. "Dare baby, and if you dare me to kiss you, I already accept." He said winking at wren
Wren: "Choose someone to draw a tattoo on your butt" said Wren with a laugh, he was not about to dare Asher to kiss the person he was most attracted to here. No matter what it would be a shit show.
Asher: Asher looked around the room, "Chanel." He said with a smile, maybe just to piss Wren off. "Tat my ass please."
Chanel: Chanel smiled at Asher, and grabbed the pen that Juliette brought. "With pleasure." she pulled down Asher's pants and wrote "Property of Thee Chanel Hampton" on his ass with a proud smile on her face. "Perfect"
Asher: Asher was loving this, "Thanks babe." He said tossing a wink at her. "Alrighty, Rosie, Truth or dare, princess."
Rose: Rose bit her lip and thought about it for a second, "Dare" she said confidently. She wasn't afraid of a challenge.
Asher: Asher shrugged. "Really thought you would strip." He said with a laugh, Antonios eyes went wide. "m-me?" He said before looking for at marina. He got up and sat in the chair
Marina: Marina stared at Asher for a second, she didn't care how pissed off she looked. You've just made an enemy for life, sir. she thought to herself.
Rose: Rose saw Marina's face and decided not to, she really didn't like being defeated. Her competitiveness had completely taken over. She sat down on Antonio's lap and didn't move at all and just took her shirt off and threw it at Asher, "happy?" she said to Asher, still annoyed. She got up quickly and sat back down. She did not like losing games at all, and now her fucking shirt was off.
Asher: Antonio and asher played football together at east wood and now white lake, so asher heard all about what Marina did to him, ghosting him out of the blue. "Lighten up babe, its just a game. And I though... I though you guys broke up months ago." he spoke to marina
Asher: Asher smiled before he passed her the bottle of fireball. "The queen deserves a shot." He said before leaning over. "Don't pout, you are stunting on all these bitches right now." Asher said to rose.
Antonio: Antonio sat back down on the floor rubbing his head.
Marina: Marina narrowed her eyes at Asher and didn't say a word.
Rose: Rose took a swig of fireball, "Don't call women bitches" said the girl taking another chug. "Rina, truth or dare?" she said using their sister intuition and some eyebrow movements. The mood was really: let's fucking go.
Marina: Marina nodded once Rose said not to call women bitches. That's her girlie. She gave her sister a look, she knew what the fuck was up. "Hmm," she acted like she was deep in thought. "Dare."
Rose: "Sister dearest, I dare you ... to slap Asher Blake" said Rose with a big smile on her face, giggling before sucking on her teeth. What a good day to be the two of them.
Marina: "Oh my god, Rosie! You're so crazy. Well a dare is a dare." Marina smiled back at her sister and walked up to Asher and warmed up her hand. "I'm so sorry about this." she said with a sarcastic frown before slapping him hard across the face.
Rose: "Aw baby, do you want your fireball?" said Rose taking another pull before passing it back to him.
Asher: When Asher heard Roses words he told himself to take it like a man. And up until she was pulling back thatse were his intentions, but habit kicked in. Asher flinched really hard and threw his hands up but she still go him. Now he was pretty embarrassed, why did he have to flinch. Although his mind was going to a milion dark places, he still managed to get out a smile. "Thanks babe." He said taking the bottle and chugging, because thats what you got to do, drink the pain away. "I'll be back in a few. Nature calls. Got to waz."
Marina: Marina sat back down, and looked over at Antonio, "Truth or dare?"
Antonio: Antonio nodded. "Okay." He said before getting up and headed out. After a minute or two he returned. "Where is the shot?"
Marina: Marina was not going to give him any kind of dare involving anyone else cause duh, but she also wasn't sure what kind of dare to actually give. She hated this game already. "Um, leave the room and we'll pour a mystery shot for you, you can guess after you take it."
Antonio: Antonio nodded. "Okay." He said before getting up and headed out. After a minute or two he returned. "Where is the shot?"
Everyone had pitched in a little bit of alcohol into a shot glass, who was to say what it had in it. But it would most definitely taste bad.
Juliette: Juliette was the last to have it, "Here you go" she said sweetly as she handed him the shot.
Antonio: "Thank you," Antonio said politely before he took the shot, a face of disgust appeared. "Is that... Jac-no. I don't know." Antonio looked at Stevie, "Truth or dare" He said with a smile
Stevie: Stevie thought about it and noticed no one had done truth in a while, so why not, "Truth for me."
Antonio: Antonio had a soft smile as he spoke. “What’s your biggest fear.” He said keeping it simple
Stevie: "Dude, that's deep." Stevie sighed and knew the answer, it was just sort of awkward to say out loud, "I guess not being good enough.. Stupid, I know." she looked over at Juliette and forced a smile. "Truth or dare, Hastings?"
Juliette: Juliette wanted to hold her hand so badly, it hurt her. "Truth too, but don't ask me what I'm scared of because it's everything" she joked, trying to take the attention off Stevie, something she had never done for anyone ever. She did not like attention.
Stevie: Stevie made sure to give Juliette a harmless question, "What's your guilty pleasure?" she asked with a friendly smile.
Juliette: "Snacks for sure" replied Juliette, what a nice harmless question. "Gabrielle, truth or dare?" she asked.
Gabrielle: Gabrielle wanted to take it easy this round, “truth.” She said with a smile
Juliette: "What talent do you have that's embarrassing to share?" asked Juliette, trying her best to be interesting.
Gabrielle: Gabrielle looked at her. “Um.. nothing I don’t think? Nothing embarrassing at least to be honest. At least I don’t think.. nothing comes to mind.” She said a bit stumped. “Chas truth or dare.”
Chase: "Dare" said Chase with a smile.
Gabrielle: “Dance for one minute with no music.” She said with a smile.
Chase: Chase absolutely danced, no music. Just a little routine. "Jonah" he said with a smile as he finished up and sat back down, "Truth or dare, my guy"
Jonah: Jonah didn't have to put much thought into this decision, "Truth, my guy."
Chase: "Do you think that Obi-wan had the hots for Padme?" asked Chase, he was not going to give him a hard hitting question right now, especially after his conversation with him earlier. He wasn't scouting for any information.
Jonah: Jonah was glad Chase gave him an easy question, "Dude, obviously. We all know there was something going on between them." he nodded before looking over at Jesse. "Alright, truth or dare bro?"
Jesse: “Give me a dare bro”
Jonah: "Awesome, I dare you to go vegan for the next week." Jonah gave his brother a thumbs up. "I believe in you."
Jesse: Jesse let out a fat laugh, almost hysterical. “Pass. Chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese is just to good.” He said with a smile. For his striping, he took off his shoes.
Jonah: "Weenie." Jonah sighed and shook his head.
Jesse: “Weenie, another name for hot dog which I enjoy eating.”
Jesse/Kelly/Riley: “Kelly truth or dare” kellly smiled. “Dare.” Jesse looked between Riley and kelly. “I dare you to kiss the person you are most attracted too in this room.” Kelly smiled before pulling Riley into a kiss. Riley blushed and kissed him back. “Riley truth or dare.” “Dare” kelly smirked. “I dare you to kiss me again.” Riley pulled him in close and gave him another kiss. “Chanel truth or dare.”
Chanel: "Truth this time, why not?" Chanel raised her shoulders as she smiled at Riley.
Riley: Riley smiled, “tell us something you really want to try in bed, something you haven’t done before.”
- Juliette and Stevie left -
Chanel: Chanel was truly stumped with that one, "Something I haven't done before? Uhhhh, ooh! I'm down for someone else to take control. I'm always doing all the work, I don't mind getting my shit wrecked for once." she raised her eyebrows at Wren and smiled. "You know what I mean?" she asked before patting his shoulder, "Anywayyys, truth or dare?"
Wren: Wren was on a whirlwind of emotions, now she wanted him to be in charge? He never shoulda pushed her up against the lockers that one time, it changed her. "Dare" said Wren, not even thinking about it. Then he realized what he had said.
Chanel: Chanel thought about a dare for a second, "Ooh! I dare you to send me a nude, please!" she said with a smile. She wouldn't usually ask for that from him because of how he feels about his body, but maybe asking for it would show him that she take interest in his body.
Wren: Wren rolled his eyes playfully at her, "Oh I see how it is" said Wren getting up, luckily he was feeling a little loosey goosey from drinking and was more than willing to participate. Wren went to the bathroom and sent Chanel a great picture without his face in it. Wren came back and gave her a kiss on the forehead, "Dare complete" he said with a smile. "Okay devyn, truth or dare?"
Devyn: devyn didn't know why she was playing this game, party games never really worked out in her favor but there she was, up at the next turn. her attention turned to wren, exhaling heavily. "um," she drew the word out, "truth, i guess."
Wren: Wren was kinda at a loss for a question, so he just went with the first intrusive thought in his head, "have you ever been in love?" he asked, the poor sentimental sap that he was.
Devyn: devyn couldn't help but laugh at his question but only because she was afraid it was going to be a lot worse than it was. it wasn't that bad though, it was something she could totally answer. "no," she shook her head, "i've never been in love." it was the truth to her, anyways. she looked over to rose, a smirk starting to form. "rose... truth or dare?"
Rose: Rose sadly already had her sweater off and just her bralette on, so she probably shouldn't choose dare again, but she liked being challenged. It was a horrible trait to have, "Dare" she replied confidently.
Devyn:
Rose: Rose pulled up her phone, "Here are my last five photos everybody, they're all of me and Caleb ice skating, very cute" she said showing off the phone like a slideshow, "Sorry there's nothing spicy, can't say the same thing about Chanel's camera roll after that last dare" Rose joked. "Marinaaaa, truth or dare" she asked her sister.
Marina: Marina looked over at her sister and smiled, "Dare."
Rose: Rose was just giggling before she even spoke, "I dare you to give Antonio a wet willy in the ear"
Asher: asher returned to the circle and took a seat
Marina: Marina laughed along with Rose and scoots over to Antonio and gave him a wet willy. "Sorry." she spoke softly before sitting back down in her spot. "Okay Kai, truth or dare?"
Kai: Kai shrugged playing with his hair, he wasn't really the truth or dare type but he didn't see anything wrong with participating." Dare." he said proudly not going to truth which was his usual choice.
Marina: Marina looked around the room and back at Kai, "I dare you to makeout with the hottest person in the room." she said with a smile, there were a ton of good options. So many hot people.
Kai: Kai whole face turned red at the dare. He wasn't a virgin but he had only been with people preapproved by his parents.Kai stood up and walked over to Riley and bent down and kissed Riley.
Riley: Riley blushed a bit as Kai had chosen her. She gave him a small kiss back.
Kai: “ok ant truth or dare”
Antonio: "I'll take a dare"
Kai: "Ok I dare you to go up to the person of your choice and give them a lap dance."
Antonio: Antonio scratched his head. If he didnt pick Marina she would prob be mad, but there was a chance she might be mad if he did. "I'll pass." He said as he took off his shirt. "Caleb, truth or dare?"
Caleb: caleb's face started turning bright red as he smiled wide, looking over to rosemary and then back to antonio. "uh- short skirts... neck kisses and... begging." he felt so embarrassed answering that but it was better than having to strip. "zac, truth or dare?"
Antonio: What are your top three turn-ons?" Antonio asked his friend
Caleb: caleb's face started turning bright red as he smiled wide, looking over to rosemary and then back to antonio. "uh- short skirts... neck kisses and... begging." he felt so embarrassed answering that but it was better than having to strip. "zac, truth or dare?"
Zac: Zac clapped at the others answer. "Thats what i'm talking about man." he said happily."Truth for me."
Caleb: knowing that zac was spending time with jada, the fact that caleb was jealous, he wanted to ask what zac's intentions were with her but he also knew that'd make him look bad in front of rosemary. he sighed heavily, going for something more cliche. "in your opinions, who is the hottest girl we go to school with?"
Zac: "Aww man that's hard." he sighed shaking his."I can't pick." It's not that he couldn't pick it's he didn't want the guys feeling a way of he picked their crush or girlfriend or whatever." I'm gonna say Sadie though."
Riley: Riley reached over and touched chanels are as she gave her a look, hoping chanel would think of her sadie and rileys halloween interaction.
Zac: "Ok Olivia, truth or dare." he sat back
Chanel: Chanel pouted her lips, she couldn't act like she was offended that she wasn't picked but she was. She was a goddamn delight. She gave Riley a look when he said Sadie. "Yuck." she whispered
Olivia: as it was her turn, the blonde female bit her bottom lip & thought about it for a good second or so. "uhhhh," she glanced over at jesse and laughed, before she turned to look at zack with a grin on her lips. wanting to go easy at first, olivia decided to go with something considered more safe. " truth."
Zac: "Ok Fuck Marry Kill any three people here but you can't pick the same person for more than one." he looked at her and winked.
Olivia: "ohhhh, okay, good one. umm..." olivia bit her bottom lip as she thought about it and she rolled her eyes, "well, i'd fuck marina because she's hot, marry the love of my life jesse & kill kelly, because i don't know him. nothing against you bud!" olivia spoke and smiled softly at him. turning to look at gabrielle, the grin on her lips widened, " what about you, sweetheart? truth or dare?"
Kelly: "Hey!" Kelly protested, though he laughed it off. "I'll take a truth." Shee said with a small smile
Marina: Marina gave a wink at Olivia, "Good choice. I'd gladly accept."
Olivia: "nothing against you, sweetcheeks!" she replied and laughed, before focusing on kelly again, " truth... what is the naughtiest you've done in public?" she asked and giggled as she took a sip of her drink.
Gabrielle: Gabrielle smiled. "Hooked up with Chase in a public bathroom a few weeks ago, but that aint the only time we done that."
Olivia: "well, well, well..." olivia said and grinned as she looked over at chase, " didn't know ya had that in ay," she said and grinned teasingly, sticking her tongue out at him.
Gabrielle: "Well you were there." She said with a laugh. "Chase truth or dare?"
Chase: "Truth" said Chase, because he had already seen what Gabrielle's dares looked like.
Gabrielle: "Tell me something you lied to me about." She said as she looked at him.
Chase: "That is a great question" said Chase, trying to think of any time he had lied to Gabrielle, "Well there's the time Chanel and I told you that we slept together, but you already knew about that. So thank you everybody for your time". Chase turned to the person next to him, "Theo, truth or dare?" asked Chase.
Theodore: Theodore looked around the room before deciding. "I think I'm going to go with truth this time."
Chase: Chase threw him an easy one, "Are you trying to get back with your ex?" he asked, he was just curious. How was the guy going to date when he had a kid?
Gabrielle: Gabrielle gave him a look, she didn't want something she already knew about but she was fine with the answer
Theodore: Theodore scowled at the question he was asked. "God no! I only go to her place to see the kid. That relationship wasn't great. Who's next? Jonah! Truth or dare?"
Jonah: Jonah was nervous about either options, he wasn't even sure why he was playing this game. "Uh, dare please." he said since he already went with truth last time.
Gabrielle: GAbrielle raised a brow, "You have a kid?" She said nicely. "I give you props, that sounds really hard."
Theodore: Theodore didn't know what to pick so he went with something easy enough to do. "Alright! I dare you to kiss the person you like most in this room."
Jonah: Truth or dare was terrible, he looked around the room and quickly took off his shirt without thinking. "Sorry, gonna weenie out on this one." he forced an awkward laugh. Jonah then turned to Rory and hoped his face wasn't too red, "Uh, truth or dare?" he asked.
Jesse: "Dam Jo, you working out or something." Jesse said nudging his brother.
Rory: Rory looked at him with a raised brow, before rolling her eyes." Dare please." she said confidently.
Jonah: Jonah hit his Jesse's lightly, and crossed his arms, "Um. I dare you to read out the last text message on your phone." he said, hoping he didn't put her in too much of an uncomfortable position.
Rory: Rory pulled out her phone and clicked on her messages, she remembered the last person on her phone and instantly regretted it. "It says : Just try to actually seduce him, like use actual sex appeal. I swear you twins have learned nothing living in this house. Flaunt it but don't get pregnant."
Wren: Wren started laughing and clapping, "God, I love Nana"
Rory: "Shut up." she rolled her eyes at her twin before going on."Jesse...Truth or dare?"
Jesse: Jesse looked at his brother before taking out his phone and sending a quick text to the simps. "I'll take a dare."
Rory: "I dare you to run down the hallway screaming I love Olivia twice>"
Jesse: Jesse stood up with a smile before he dashed down the hall way. "I love Olivia!" He said and he ran back repeating it. As he came back he slipped because he was in his socks and laughed. "Romeo, truth or dare?"
Olivia: the blonde laughed softly and shook her head as jesse ran down the hallway, screaming "i love olivia" before slipping as he came back, because he was in his socks. "what an idiot," she said lovingly.
Romeo: Romeo hadn’t played a game of truth or dare in ages so this was all new to him. “I’ll take a dare please.”
Jesse: Jesse smiled, "impersonate someone of your choosing and keep it up till your next turn."
Romeo: “Gotta chose Asher then, right?”   Romeo said as he wrapped his arms around the next people next to him. He leaned from side to side to press a kiss to each of their cheeks. “Who’s next?”
Asher: Asher let out a laugh. "you ask lexi now"
Romeo: “Alright, Lexi. Truth or dare?”
Lexi: "I pick truth." the said pushing her ponytail over her shoulder.
Romeo: “Truth? Okay. What’s your worst sexual experience been like? You don’t have to add names if you don’t want too.”
Lexi: "I had someone cry like after we did it, it's a real humbling thing if i'm being honest." she shrugged."Kelly truth or dare?"
Gabrielle: Gabrielle thought about asking if it was indi the time she walked in on them, but she was still saving that for a rainy day.
Kelly: Kelly smiled. "Dare please."
Wren: "Do you want to get out of here?" said Wren to Chanel, feeling a little confident. He was tired of sitting here and didn't want to do another round.
Chanel: Chanel smirked at Wren and nodded her head, "Mhm! I think we deserve some alone time." she grabbed his hand and got up to leave.
Lexi: "I dare you to text three girls you would hook up with your corniest pick up line."
Wren: Wren took Chanel's hand and helped her up and they headed on out.
Kelly: Kelly raised a brown, "Corniest? You want me ter send them corn?"
Lexi: "What are you serious? No not corn. Like lamest"
Kelly: "Oh." Kelly rolled his eyes at the girl before sending out three texts.

ladies and gentleman, her || wren and rory
𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍: wren’s dorm room// just after exams 2021.
𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: wren x rory.
𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒: none.
𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒: rory is back and wren hopes she is better than ever!
"Wren open up." She said opening the door of his dorm. Instantly regretting it as she remembered he shared the room with Jet. Lucky for her only person in there was her brother. " No welcome party?" She smiled looking through his  stuff for his snacks.  She found two snickers, looking over at her brother she sat at the edge of the bed. " I assume it was your idea to have me here instead of under the parental thumb." She opened the candy bar and took a bite. She spent a few days with them and they wouldn't start asking her questions. She was sure they thought she was in drugs with her attitude but they were not the easiest to talk to. Nana encourages her coming here if she didn't want to stay home. Now that she was here she just wanted to disappear. She knew she would have to pretend more than she wanted to. " If it was, thank you. I love them but they were suffocating." She admitted. " Anyway how are you?"
Wren was honestly shocked to see Rory in his room, it felt like a hallucination. He had no idea she was coming and he had been studying for exams all week. Now she was transferring, so not only did they have the summer but they had the next three years too.  "You're pretty casual, it's good to see you Ror" said Wren with a big smile, "I'm doing pretty bad, as per usual. How are you doing?" Something about telling someone you're not doing great with a smile on your face just makes everything a little better. "Also, in celebration of you officially transferring, I have started looking at on and off campus housing for us to live in. Dorms are kinda tired, dontcha think?" he said. He wanted a place where he could keep Rory as safe as possible. Where she could feel as safe as possible. Plus they could have the dog there, the dog Chanel had gotten him but that was besides the point.
Rory nodded, if anyone knew about putting on a mask to hide Wren knew. It was like their go to coping mechanism without the actual coping part. "Why? What's wrong?" She opened up the second candy bar. How was she? She didn't even know. She was trying to number herself to what happened so most of the time she felt just that...nothing. "I look better but I still feel like hiding in a ditch somewhere." She bit into the snack. She didn't see a reason for her to lie to him  she was sure they were passed that. " Thank goodness, I'm in a hotel right now and it's not bad. I mean the room is nice and our parents send someone up to make sure I'm not  strung out  or something." She shrugged. "You're my favorite roommate, I think we need better privacy than a r.a being nosy, and telling us we can't have air fryer." She also needed more room if she was going to actually try and find her spark again. She missed designing clothes but her muse seemed have disappeared. Everything just seemed horrendous.
“No hiding in ditches in the fall, also I heard a rumor that this summer is going to be great. Nana said ... hot girl summer?” Wren said to be as encouraging as possible. Things weren’t great for him right now, but nothing he was going through was any comparison to Rory. “I am a pretty great roommate. We could even see about inviting some friends to also live with us if you want. We have a few months to figure out a lease” he wanted to make her living arrangements as positive as possible. A good place to live with people she liked was going to make life better. Happy Rory means happy Wren.
She shook her head in amusement. " I heard the same thing." She wasn't sure what she was going to do this summer, she had a suite to herself and she could wallow in misery in peace. " From personal experience I know exactly what kind of roommate you are." They were together most of their lives so they were used to each others habits. Her mother thinks that them being so far away from each other was why Rory wasn't doing so good. Rory wasn't sure she agreed a hundred percent but she might of been right. " Don't think I didn't catch on to you not telling me what's wrong." She crossed her arms." Go on, spill."
With their parents being so busy and them moving more than once, Rory was the only solid constant in his life. Yes, their family was strong but there was something special about their relationship as twins. Reliability and accountability between them. "Big fight with Chanel, some fucked up things were said by both of us. I am aware that I messed up too, don't worry. I just think that she was in the wrong" he said stubbornly. He wasn't going to let go of this at all. This was a fight to hold on to. A fight they weren't going to be coming back from. A lifetime of friendship destroyed. "But it's no big deal. I'm just going to get out there for real this time. No random hook ups. It's time to rebound and actually date" he said confidently. He had no idea who would want him now. Too much baggage.
Rory always felt lucky to have Wren. She lived her parents and loved how close of a family they were even with her fathers sweater vest. With Wren she knew she had someone who understood her and loved her unconditionally. They could fight and make up and no love was ever lost between them. " You know I support you in anything that you do. I think you should eventually apologize for the things you said because we're better than that." Maybe. " Also of you slept on it and you still feel likes she wrong then its serious. Most things.calm down over a little time. " She laid back on his bed. " If you date I want to vet these girls first. I don't want them taking advantage of you." Rory didn't believe the two would stay away for long but she wasn't going to say it. Plus what did she know anytime her and Jonah broke up is was amicable on the outside and heart wrenching on the inside.
He was not backing down this time. "And let her think she can still walk all over me? No, I'm not doing it" said the boy, even though he still missed her on a major level. They had had such a good day together only a short while before, but then he had to let people get into his head about everything. "She just wants me to forget all that shit that happened in senior spring, and I don't want to. Its a big deal, right?" he said, looking for validation. He laughed when she said she wanted approval first, "We'll see about that. But you know who always has a gold stamp in my book? One mister Jonah Keller" said Wren with a shrug. He didn't want to push her to reconnect, but Jonah was such a good guy. Such a safe option to keep her safe. One of his friends, someone he could trust.
It was always obvious that Chanel had a pull on Wren. She wasn't sure what the argument was this time but she could  he was really upset. It was a family trait to blow up at things unnecessarily but when the smoke clears they could see their wrongs and fix it. Didn't seem like he wanted to fix it. Rory couldn't deny that he had every right to be mad about it, she was sure he never fully dealt with it. "Absolutely, it's huge. " She couldn't tell him he had to work on getting past that. It would make her a hypocrite, internalize until it all goes wild. "Who?" She asked already knowing the answer. " I'm going to marry that man..eventually." She ran her finger through her hair. " I love him but I don't think he'll want if he ever found out." Her voice drifted off. " He deserves better but I still want to be his wife, that's selfish right?"
"Okay good, I'm not being crazy" said Wren, he was constantly doubting himself. Gaslighting his own emotions every minute. He never knew if he was in the right until someone else told him he was. Sometimes he didn't even know if he was angry until he checked with other people that he had the right to be. Wren listened to her about Jonah, "It's not selfish, and I promise you that he will care, but not like that. He cares about you, and nothing is going to change that. He's going to be there for you, all you have to do is talk to him" Wren encouraged. He was so happy that there was a chance for those two to get back together. That Rory would have that kind of support.
" No not crazy." She repeated. She understood him and what he was thinking. She did it too. Over think and make up scenarios in her head. Let other people whisper in her ear things are not always true. The only difference is Wren was impulsive with his words, he said things that hurt but usually felt bad later. Rory never really argued, if she did she was cold and of she said it she probably meant it. " I'm going to talk to him I'm just not going to tell him." She sighed. " I don't want him to look at me differently or secretly resenting  me. "
While he couldn't control his mouth, Wren on a good day was a great communicator. He valued honesty above most things, and he hated himself for every lie he ever said. He had spent so much time lying to himself, letting his brain lie to him, that when he was doing good it was all truth all the time. "Don't be afraid to tell him when the time is right, but take all the time you need. He won't look at you any different, I know I don't think any differently of you" said Wren with candor. It was important that she was still Rory to him. Nothing could ever change that, especially not other people's choices. She was and always will be Rory. "But enough about that. If you want we can ask Jonah and Chase to live with us next year, or tell them to get a place nearby. I would love to have the boys nearby" he added as the conversation changed. He loved his friends, how easy it was with them. Things with Jet had been so difficult recently, he was looking forward to having his own room again.
Rory had played how she would tell Jonah, if she would tell Jonah so many times in her head. She couldn't shake how it made her feel. She could feel herself getting angry and then sad. Deep down she knew she couldn't do it, she didn't even want to tell Wren but he was persistent." Maybe." She said as her thoughts swirled in her head. "Chase is here too?" She smiled. " Sounds good." She never lived with them but she was sure it wasn't any harder than loving with Wren, especially with how they were always at the house, eating up the pizza rolls. " I don't think living on my own would be productive so it's perfect.
"We can get a bunch of people together. Our own little college fam. It'll be fun, and when it isn't we can all just go to our own rooms" said Wren, it honestly sounded like a really good support system for all of them. No matter what got difficult, they could always just go home. "Are you taking any summer classes, or are you just chillin" he asked, wondering what her summer plans were looking like. There were good times to be had, and he was ready to be completely done with school. Rory was back and things were going to be good, he was sure of it. The looming Chanel problem would be in the rearview before he could even overthink it anymore than he already had.
" I'm going to ask Zoe if she would be down." She tapped her chin thinking about it.  "Maybe do a college vlog." She thought outloud. " I have to come up why three designs by August if I want to bring up my grades. Besides that I'm free to eat ice cream in my room and watch young and the restless."She said only half  joking. It might be good for her to be around people that actually cared about her.  It was also appealing to have Jonah in the house to.
"I'll message the boys, Stevie'll probably be down too" said Wren as he messaged in his discord group. It would be really nice to have everyone at home with them. He was mostly excited to live with Rory. The year apart has been way too long, especially with everything that happened. "I'm going to be lifeguarding, but in the evenings I will definitely be down for young and the restless. Maybe even some new stuff?" he suggested. He wanted to make sure they weren't sticking to any depressive patterns, "Other than lifeguarding I have therapy and some basketball stuff, so it's a Bishop summer for sure" he encouraged.
"Sounds like a plan." She looked up at the ceiling. "I would day we need hook up rules but I don't think this group would need to many of those." She teased. She knew for her and her brother they lost their virginity later than most.  " Everyone seems to be doing something, maybe I could find a little  job at a boutique." She sighed. She had to work on her designs She didn't have one that came to mind it was frustrating. " We'll see about all that." She teased. " That reminds me I have to do yoga. Mom insisted."
"I feel like a boutique job is perfect for you. Nana's got connections, it would be super easy for you to work at any one you want" he said, thinking positively about her getting back into what she loves. "You had any of those amazing Rory design ideas recently? Or are you ready to fix my wardrobe again. I've been wearing exclusively hoodies for the whole semester" said Wren, hoping that would tempt her with a good time. Knowing she didn't enjoy fashion school was just killing him. It would be like if he hated basketball. It's hard to see people let go of things they love.
" I will I just want one where I could also do my designs." She looked over at him and pouted. Sitting up she and pulled her book out of her bag. " I made a dress for Zoe, that's the only design in there. " She shook her head. "That was drawn before I left high school. I finally put it together and that took over three months." She sighed. " Maybe I need to find another major." She looked over at him.
He was worried that she was loosing all her passion. He hoped going to Brindleton might fix it. "I would hold out on switching majors just yet. Maybe just take a class outside of it to, in something you're interested. See how the fashion classes go here. New year, new teachers" he encouraged. He wouldn't push her like this if she wasn't talented, but she was honestly so excellent at everything to do with fashion. It would be hard to see her working a 9-5 at some desk when she had so much skill and talent in her soul.
He was right, even with her lack of passion and confidence she couldn't imagine herself doing anything else but that. "All my classes center around it so  maybe it'll help me. I just hate this. I used to have fucking ideas pouring out of me and now it all empty. " she got up to look for more snacks.  "I just feel like I was robbed twice, and it's frustrating."  she was frustrated. "And where are all your snacks Wrennie, no ones room should be this empty of sugar and salt." she wanted to smoke  but she didn't want to get in trouble.
Wren gave her a smile, "you'll get it back" he said. He knew she would, it would just take time and therapy. He hated that guy who took so much from her. Wren did not often get full of rage, but he was explosive even teetering about thinking about it. Wren shrugged, "I just don't eat food like that. Just a reminder of who you're talking to" said the boy, "Chase and Jonah are down the hall, you can always go see Jonah?" he said with a smile. He wanted to know that she was connecting with other people than him. He couldn't be her only friend here.
She wasn't sure if she would get it back but she was going to try, she looked up at her brother and rolled her eyes at him. "So what are you not eating again? "  she raised her brow. "Don't worry i won't tell or convince you to do so if you don't make to to anyone." she smiled, opening his drawer and looking at his clothes and started to pull things out
"Not really eating candy, nana dropped off those treats for me just in case I wanted something for exams" he explained. Wren was doing really well, just not eating sweets unless they were homemade. "I'm going to have to be looking fresh if I'm going to be dating this summer" he said with a positive vibe. Letting go of Chanel was going to be such a bitch, and they had just been together again. No girl compared to her. Not emotionally. Not physically. Not anything.
"I need to call her so she can make us brownies and then come steal the ones she makes for you." She rolled her eyes at his comment. " Not with these clothes you're not." She started taking out his clothes and separating them. "Text me your sizes I can't have you moving on with twenty something pairs of sweatpants." She said in a disapproving tone.  " it's like you don't even care." She turned to him. "We're going to get you summertime fine for all the ladies."
Wren laughed, "I thought women loved a man in gray sweats. It's when I get my best compliments" he said with a laugh. "Just nothing too tight" he said as he started to text her his sizes. He was going back and forth on whether or not he should just go to Chanel and apologize. But a part of him knew she was in the wrong. That it would be an admission of guilt if he were to apologize first. Wren didn't want to seem weak.
Rory made sounds like she was about to throw up, "Eww." she rolled her eyes folding up his nice clothes which they ones she had got him or made him. "I would never, i'm going to have you looking so good that Chanel would look at you and immediately try and win you back." she winked. "You know if you're into that." she knew he was. She had a pit in her stomach for missing someone and it wasn't hers. She missed Jonah but it was more of a longing so she knew it was her feeding off him.
He thought about his words carefully, "I mean, I don't think that's a reality at all" he said. Wren wasn't sure if he even wanted to be back with Chanel, part of him felt like he needed to be back with her. He knew he was happier with her, its just all the shit that happened when they weren't dating. And that thing right at the tail end of their relationship. "But testing the theory doesn't sound too awful" he relented.
"Crazier things have happened." She said absent-mindedly. She knew what ot felt like something wasn't going to work and it came together. At one point she thought Jonah was in love with another girl, but they ended up back together. What if he was in a relationship? Nah she was sure Wren would of given her the heads up. " No and if you can atleast turn her head the  you know you got it in the bag."
"I think we both know that Chanel Hampton has always been and will always be the head turner" Wren insisted. Sometimes, he wished she wasn't so beautiful. Because Wren loved her for everything else about her too. It drove him mad how much attention she got for just her looks, even when they were younger. There is so much more to Chanel than that. And there was nothing about Wren like that, and it constantly made him worry that she would leave him for someone who was in her league.
" Yeah well you're nothing to cough at either." She turned to him. " Dearest brother of mine, you are a catch. You possess everything that a girl wants for in a man and with my help you'll also dress to impress." She said proudly finishing up folding the clothes he was going to keep. " In all seriousness Laurie, Chanel is a great girl I'll never lie or deny it. But you can shine so much brighter than her you guys compliment  each other when you're together." She closed the drawer. " You're a catch without her."
She had a point that they complimented each other. Chanel was everything he admired, and somedays he believed it when she said that about him. It was just hard knowing that you don't feel complete without someone else there. Someone specific. But that ship had sailed, and that was the new reality. "I'll believe it before you know it" said Wren, "fake it till I make it" he added. "I have to get to the gym, but text me when you talk to Jonah" said Wren with a little wink, "go get him".

unexpected visit || wren and rory
𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍: rory’s dorm room // late fall 2023
𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: wren x rory ( @hotmcss ).
𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒: assault mention, eating disorder mention
𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒: wren makes his way to rory’s college when he gets an unexpected call from his mom
Wren got off the train and headed towards Rory's dorm, he had helped her move in. Saying goodbye to Rory for a few months had been one of the hardest things Wren had ever done. With all the moving and their parents being gone or being thousands of miles away from Nana ... Rory had been his rock. It was time to make it out in the world, and as he was getting the hang of it, his mother had called and said that Rory needed him whether or not she was willing to admit it. Wren knocked on the familiar dorm room, with her name on a decorative name plate, and waited for his sister.
College was supposed to be the stepping stone for Rory, she spent her whole high school time preparing for this, but a party on the last day of school made her rethink everything. At first she tried to act like it never happened but that was impossible. She barely talked to her parents or nana, and she did the best to avoid Wren, she just didn't have the energy, for anything. She heard the door, she groaned and walked to open it. Her appearance was unkempt as she opened the door. Shit. she thought to herself as she saw her twin standing there. "Wrennie," she said enthusiastically.' What brought here?" Wren had never seen his sister disheveled basically in her whole life, even when things went south with Jonah she would come into his room with a full makeover and look better than ever even if she was about to cry. "Just wanted to see you" he said with a smile as he walked into her room, the place was a mess. "Don't tell me you're the messy roommate" Wren teased her as she sat down on her bed, picking up a family photo from her bedside, "So how's school going?" he asked, not trying to probe too heavily. "A text next time would of been nice." she sat back on her bed. College look like it was doing him good, she was happy for him. "Hey what can I say?" she shrugged bringing her knees to her chest. Rory didn't  think it looked that bad but she hadn't really left the room in the past two days. "You know, great. Star student right here." she lied. She wasn't sure the last time she went to class. She did submit the weding looks she was supposed to but those were older drawings for when she planned getting married ad she got an A. That was luck. " How's being the star of duke?" "Where's the element of surprise then?" said Wren, "Don't worry, I'll make it up to you when I take you out for dinner." Wren was more than worried about her, even her body language was closed off. And now she was lying, he knew she wasn't doing well in school. The school had even called their folks about it, it was that bad. "It's been fun, pledging a fraternity. The whole nine yards. Girls are nice, they just don't ... they're not. You get it" said Wren, not really finishing the thought at all. No girls could ever compare to The Chanel Hampton. Rory sucked her teeth. "I could do without the surprises" she really didn't want to go to dinner, or outside just the thought of taking a shower and getting dressed seemed like more than she wanted to do today or at all this week. She was happy he was enjoying the college life, kinda of jealous too. "Yeah, nothing  comes close." she sighed as she thought of Jonah, she loved him but she betrayed him.  Not by choice but he wouldn't understand....no one would. "They say time makes things easier, but i'm not so sure." the last part was more for her than for him,  it was her feeling bad about herself. Wren listened to her give him advice, sometimes it was best to hear things from yourself. "Time will make all things better, all we have to do is show up and work hard to get there" said the boy, things getting easier wasn't something that was just going to be dropped in his lap. Wren looked around the room, "Do you want me to put in a load of laundry for you?" he asked, hoping that even the smallest of tasks would make it easier on her. She always picked him up when he was down, she had been there in the hospital rooms and at the rehab to visit. Now it was his turn. He was right and she knew it but she didn't want to hear it, she didn't want to hear anything. "No, i'll do it later." lies. She had no intentions of doing anything. They had been apart for so long that she hoped it interfered with their twinpathy or he would just think it was his own pain over Chanel. "You know you don't have to baby me, I'm fine..really." "Have you talked to Jo?" Wren asked, curious to know whether or not she had kept up with Jonah. He could see the pain on her face though, "I"m just worried about you, that's all. We've never been apart this long" the boy added. It was true, they really had never spent more than a month or so apart in their entire lives. She shook her head, putting her chin to her knees. It hurt to think of him, all of this hurt more because she felt like she failed him." Do you guys still talk?' she asked in hushed tone. Everything was making her feel horrible, she hated it. It was harder bein away from him but she knew he would see her downward spiral. "I know but how else are you going to be the pride and joy of the family." she tried to tease not sure if that's how it came out. "We've been busy with school, but the lads do get together on discord and play a game or two" said Wren with a small smile. They didn't talk about the girls though. He put his hand on his sister's shoulder, "Don't worry we only talk shop" he added. Wren could tell something was weighing on her, but he knew if there was something big enough Jonah would have said something. "Me? The pride and joy? I think you doubt your abilities. I can hardly dress myself" Wren replied, there wasn't a piece in his closet that Rory hadn't picked out for him. That or school merchandise. "The simp squad." she looked over at him, besides the obvious sadness from the break up he was glowing and in a outfit she had packed. It gave her a small joy to know he's doing the Bishops name good. Even though she looked like she hadn't showered in weeks. "It makes me happy to know you are looking like a everything in that school. I know those frat boys are taking notes and the girls are swooning." rory silenced her phone, she was supposed to be in class but she wasn't feeling it. "I love you Wrennie but why are you really here?" "Yeah well, the girls are ... they're girls. They're not her, but I'll get over it eventually. Just a couple more bad dates and I'm sure I'll be back to normal" said Wren, he wasn't sure when he would feel normal without Chanel. But he would some day. For now he would continue to check her instagram several times a day. She asked him why he was really here, and he felt like he had no option but to reply with the truth, "Mom called, said she was worried and that the school called. She was worried about World War 3 happening if they showed up here so they sent me to check on you"
"I always wondered how people love someone and they move on , Like I get loving someone else but I fully believe in one true love, but I also think life doesn't ever want to make it that easy." She didn't thinking there was anyone else for her than Jonah, she loved him.  The thought of someone else made her skin crawl, she hoped Wren didn't notice the shiver of the disgust or the way she started picking at her skin. "She's so dramatic." she sighed looking at her arm. 'They call me like a thousands times a day, it's so much." she used to talk her mom at least 4 times a day. Now she has like thirty missed calls from her.
"Well, Chanel and I are kind of out of options. It's just not meant to be" said Wren, he had given up all hope of him and Chanel ending up together. She was having a good time at college, he was having a good time at college. It was almost like they never dated at all. Maybe they shouldn't have. It hurt his heart to think like that, but also this was about Rory right now. Not about him. "And you used to love talking to Mom a thousand times a day" Wren countered, he just wanted to know what was going on. "Why are you shutting us out? We're bishops, we're not supposed to be like this. You haven't been talking to me either" Wren added.
If this was another time and she was her regular self she would text Chanel and see how she was really holding up but she was barely on her phone for five minutes a day. They all went to college she assumed thins would change but she didn't  think it would happen as soon as they graduated. "I tell her i'm fine and she doesn't believe me. i argue with her all the time about it and it's tiring. Just because my hair isn't done and i'm in the same outfit for a few days something has to be up,"  She knew she hated  repeat outfits, she always made her owns so she didn't have to repeat. "I just thouht you were busy I didn't want to bother you."
"Rory Bishop, outfit repeater?" said Wren, thinking of that old Lizze McQuire episode. Rory was never one to repeat anything, outfits especially. He was sad to hear that she thought he was too busy for her, "I could never be too busy for you, and you could never bother me" Wren clarified. He meant it, he really did.
She sighed, she hadn't even designed anything in the past month. Rory knew she was being distant but it's not like she could really help it. She was scared, she felt guilty like it was her fault like she needed to humble herself." Yeah but I see you with the glow up and I just....I just wanted all the attention on you.'
“Yeah the post breakup glow up, it’s just because I look better without Chanel to compare to me” Wren joked, he wanted to know what was actually going on with his sister. “What have you been working on?” The best way to see Rory’s mental state was to see what her creations were looking like.
The question caught her off guard, she could show him old work but she always dated her stuff, she could of lied but she didn't think she could get away with it. " See the thin is.." she shifted in her spot uncomfortably." I haven't drawn anything in a while." or since the night of the party.
She hadn't been working on anything? Things must be really bad, "Since when?" Wren asked, "When is the last time you drew something or came up with an idea?" he probed. He knew this next few minutes would be tough, but they were important. She needed to let him in, about whatever it was. He was worried it was about Jonah, maybe something had happened with him.
"Does that even matter?" she said defensively." You don't need to design something to be a part of the fashion world." she was angry, but more with herself and less with anyone else.  she was a disappointment, she knew it
"You don't have to do anything you don't want to do, you just love it. So I don't get the sudden change of heart. Is it because you're in school for it now?" Wren asked, grasping at straws. He just didn't know what was going on. Wren didn't want to upset his sister, but she was letting go of her dreams and that was really hard to watch. She never gave up on him, not even after his ED relapse. She was always there.
"No" she stood up and walked o her mini fridge and pulled out a soda and put a shot of vodka in it." You wouldn't understand and as twins we're entitled to one secret and this is mine." He never told her about his ed,she found out with everyone else. So why couldn't she have this.
Wren shook his head, "Yeah I thought I was under control, I didn't think anything was wrong with me" said Wren as he stood up, "I fucked up Ror, it was bad. You're just pushing me out and you do know what's wrong. Why are you even drinking right now?" the boy asked, getting a little frustrated. They were trying to have a conversation, at least he was.
She didn't want to hear anything he had to say, his logic bothered her because he was right.' It's college isn't this what everyone does?" she knew she was pissing him off and part of her hated that but the other half wanted him angry like she was angry
"Yeah but it's your first semester, it's not exactly time for a burn out" said Wren frustratedly, he was so worried about her now. The way she was lashing out, it was just beyond him right now. He knew that things were bad, but there was no why. There just was what there was, "Just tell me what's going on" he insisted.
"I'm not a." she trailed off for a second before getting off her bed, she was pacing, biting her nails. The room felt smaller for some reason and it felt like she couldn't breathe. "You wouldn't understand.." she said not looking at him.
Wren put his hands on her shoulders, "You don't know that unless you tell me things" he said earnestly, his brows furrowing. He just needed to know what he could do for her, it was killing him slowly. He could feel her pain emanating off of her. Wren was desperate for her to be alright.
"Please don't touch me." she said taking a step back from his touch. Rory knew he wouldn't hurt her, he would never hurt but somethin else was in control of her emotions, her mind of her body. "I don't know how!" she yelled. "I don't know how to tell anyone."
Wren put his hands up and off of her, she had never been like this before. Usually they were all up in each other's physical space, especially when comforting. Nana was also very touchy. "Tell anyone what! Just say it Rory! It's me!" said Wren, raising his voice at her. He hated yelling, and he especially hated yelling at her as his voice boomed across the room.
She became angry, angry at herself, angry at the world, and angry at him. Why did he get to be upset, she didn't ask him to come, she didn't ask him to ask all those questions. Why couldn't anyone just leave her alone. 'I was Raped!" tears fell to the floor, she couldn't look at him. She turned away and grabbed the bottle. "You can leave now.' her voice was low
Wren's heart felt like it had completely stopped. How could anyone do this. How could anyone touch her without her permission, what kind of monster was this. "Rory" said Wren in a soft voice, he wanted to hug her. To hold her. But he only knew that would make things so much worse. So very much worse. "Rory please don't ask me to go" he said, bringing his eyes up to meet her. They were filling with tears, but none had fallen yet.
"Don't." she said softly when she heard her name. Her arms wrapping around herself, the softness in his voice was more than she deserved. What was she supposed to do now, now that he knew. It didnt change anything, she still felt dirty. "You don't need to worry , i'm dealing.'
Wren knew better, he always said that he was dealing. It was just the bishop way. "You need to talk to someone, none of this is your fault" said the boy, his eyes betraying him as a tear fell from his eye. "None of this, none of it is your fault. Did you file a title IX? Did you talk to the police?" Wren asked, putting his head in his hands as his elbows rested on his knees.
Rory shook her head, she wanted to believe him. Some part of her did believe him but it felt like it was all wrong. "No, I don't know what that is..I just." she sighed."I just, i was drunk and i should of known better." she had one drink but it felt like she had downed a whole bottle, "Please don't make this a big thing." she pleaded as tears rolled down her cheeks.
Wren hated that excuse, he heard it all the time from girls when things just weren't okay. "There's no excuse for someone elses behavior" said Wren softly, "it's their fault if you were drunk. They made those choices when you couldn't." He felt so strongly about this, and he could hardly bear to hear her talk like this. "I won't make it a big thing if you don't want it to be, it's your place to make it as big of a thing as you want it to be" he added.
Rory sighed collapsing in the middle of the room, she felt so heavy.  She couldn't even to begin  to think why someone would do that to someone else. "I just want this to go away Wren, i want to feel like i did before this happened.  I feel so broken, hopeless. i don't want to feel that anymore." she sobbed." I don't want to feel anything anymore." that came out barely like a whisper.

Winter Trip || Wren and Rory
SETTING: Rory’s room.
Wren: Wren went to find his sister after the game, "Hey, was that text from Nana about Jonah?" he asked, he was curious where his sister was standing on the whole thing. It was hard juggling his relationship with Devyn and his sister when it came to Jonah. Him and Jonah had gotten closer recently when they started watching anime together. It made him feel guilty all around, and he didn't want to encourage anyone too much.
Rory: Rory had been looking at herself in the mirror, she had been so sad lately and she had developed a not so healthy way to deal with all her emotions."God why are you so emotional?" she asked herself taking a sip of vodka from a water bottle. Hearing her brother as he walked in she put breathe strips in her mouth and turned around with a big smile."Yeah. You know how she is."
Wren: "Let's play a game, vodka or water" said Wren taking the water bottle and taking a pull. "Vodka" he said coughing a little. "He's scared, Ror, you just have to say something and see what happens" Wren suggested, he knew it was a little bold. But she was bold, and he just did it. If Wren could do it, then she could do it. He just ... he didn't know what Jonah wanted, that was the hard part.
Rory: Rory shook her head taking back the bottle."That's cheating." she said moving to her bed. "Please don't tell Nana, you know how she gets." she said with pleading eyes."I know, I will I just choke up when I see him, or I get angry. " she sighed."My emotions are just everywhere." she looked up at her brother. "but I'm going to tell him. I swear."
Wren: "I won't don't worry" said Wren, Nana seemed to know everything anyway. "How do you think you'll do it?" he asked, he was curious. "I just kinda word vomited at Chanel ... which did work. So, I mean" Wren added. He didn't want to make it all about him, "I'm sure he'll appreciate you just being straightforward"
Rory: "So don't laugh but I was going to write him a letter, but then I was like eh that's to cheesy." she said standing up and going to her suitcase pulling out a my hero academia hoodie she had designed." I'm made him this so I'm going to give it to him and tell him, or should I show up in just this and give it too him." she tapped her chin."What do you think and weren't you afraid of rejection when you told Nel?"
Wren: "Wait, what the fuck" said Wren taking the hoodie, "This is so fucking cool! Can you make me one? I mean ... it can be different. But holy shit" said the boy, he was so excited about it. His sister was so great, "He's going to love it, this is sick as hell" Wren added. He calmed down a bit, "No, I was scared as hell. I'm honestly still scared, but she was so happy when I told her. I had just gotten in my head about it" Wren replied.
Rory: "There's one in your room at home, it has Yasuke the afro samurai on it. I put it there when you went downstairs for this trip so we wouldn't come here and you would be wearing it. It's the whole fit with some black nikes to match." she said proudly." You can tell all your friends,,  take orders." she nodded. She understood because she had it in her head as soon as she would tell him. He would hate her." Can you take the anxiety, like we can use our twin superpowers." she joked.
Wren: Wren picked her up and hugged her, "GOD, you are so amazing" said Wren excitedly as he put her down. Wren laughed as she told him to take her anxiety. He put his hand on her forehead and make an electricity noise, "Transfer complete" Wren added with a robot voice. "Consider all your anxiety stored into me now, but you best be taking it back soon" said Wren smiling at his sister and taking his hand off her head.
Rory: "I know." she smiled, smoothing out her clothes when he put her down.Whenever they something huge going on ever since they were younger they would transfer the feeling to each other. Their parents said that wasn't a real thing but Rory had always felt there was some truth it, it always made her feel better." Of course, i'm not a cruel girl." she chuckled."So how is the trip so far?"
Wren: "Things are good, Chanel and I have been hanging out a lot. Which is normal, but dating its ... it's really nice, Rory. I didn't think I could be this baseline happy all the time" he said with a smile, "I mean minus all the anxiety I just absorbed" he teased.
Rory: "Is she coming to gingerbread night at the house?" Rory inquired."Nana is making me make pajamas, I'm done but if she comes i got to make her one as well." she didn't mind having Chanel around, especially when she was the reason Wren was lit up like a christmas tree."Mom and dad said they might be here for christmas."
Wren: "Yeah she'll be there. Big tradition. Can't miss it" he said with a goofy grin on his face. "Dad said that they would try their best, I really hope they make it" said the boy, he missed their parents a lot. But they were doing good work.
Rory: "I'll get started on hers when I get back home." she tried to hide her excitement but it was hard when she was talking about things she loved to do."Yeah, i'm not talking to him because he sent a selfie in some ugly sweater he thought was hit..." she shook her head." how could he do that? "
Wren: "yeah dad's got ... questionable taste" said Wren, "and even I know that" he added. He was lucky he had Rory in his life to buy all his clothes and put his outfits together, she always made sure he looked good. Couldn't be the family embarrassment. "You should redo his wardrobe for Christmas, I'm sure mom would appreciate"
Rory: "That's Genius Wrennie." Rory said making a note in her phone so she could start as soon as possible. "Remember when he came to parent teacher conference in a button up and sweatpants."she cringed."i was so embarrassed when he walked to me, I cried all the way home it was horrible."
Wren: "That man needs some help" Wren said with a laugh, "That was a rough set of parent teacher conferences" he said thinking back on it. They were doing pretty well without their parents, most of that was thanks to Nana. "I know Nana will be happy to see her favorite baby boy though" said Wren smiling at his sister.
Rory: He was right, their father had no fashion taste, she loved him but sometimes she just wanted to hide him under a blanket. "I'm already prepared of him doing no wrong when he comes home and mom wanting to kick it and gossip." she looked over at him."she's gonna be all in our dating life." she knew her mom was nosy and she wouldn't stop until they talked.
Wren: "Dad just gets away with everything, it's way cuter when we do it" said Wren making a funny face. "Oh moms going to last all of 10 minutes before wanting to talk shit" Wren added, "and yeah, you better go get your shit in order for mom". Their mom was like a dog smelling food on a table when it came to what the twins were doing. She always came into town and wanted to know every little detail. "Nana said to not let her know that Chanel sleeps at our house, so be careful" Wren noted.
Rory: "Look at that face." she laughed at the face he was making."He could never." she continued to laugh. Rory loved her mom but she was like a little stuck up and a lot of judgemental. "Trust me i'm ready for her, but she's gonna know that I'm not a virgin like she's going to be able to smell it off me." she sighed."I would never, you better do a sweep and a deep cleaning of your room and get a bottle of her perfume and put it in my room just in case."
Wren: Wren laughed with her. "Same, she's going to know somethings different about both of us, especially if we both have significant others" Wren replied. "Oh you're smart smart" said Wren, it was wild how cunning Rory could be sometime. "I can also have Chanel change perfume when she comes over around mom as a bonus precaution"
Rory: "I'm not telling anything about that, too much follow questions, I'm just going to lie." she shook her head`It's not like she can press nana for the information, and as a student body president you should be able to lie." she smiled. She had to hide having a boyfriend for a few months she learned a few things. "Yes!! ugh we're so smart"
Wren: "Lying sounds good to me" said Wren, they were definitely on the same wavelength. "Nana thinks Chanel and I have been having sex for months. Did you hear that she bought me condoms?" he asked, "It's like ... an uncomfortably large box"
Rory: The twins could handle their mother but if she found out the people they decided to lost it too...it was all too much."You got condoms? I got birth control. And we both were mortified." she sighed." She probably has like three other boxes waiting for you. We could use them as water balloons."
Wren: "Damn, Nana's putting you on the pill? Well, I'm happy that I'm not going to have a niece" he teased, "Don't be gettin pregnant on me". Wren laughed at the idea, "maybe one of the boxes, I have plans for holiday break" he joked. Chanel was ... well maybe the most sexual person Wren had ever come in contact with.
Rory: "She will if i'm going to start having se but i'm not so she didn't press the issue but I have them on my dresser."she sighed. Her nana found it hard that her and Jonah only reconnected just have sex then barely talk to each other."I guess me and Chanel are going to have sleepovers just in case."
Wren: "Chanel's house is always unoccupied, so when parents are home I can just climb off the balcony and head out" said the boy, that was the plan anyways. "Or go on some special long runs" he replied. "Anyways, when are you giving him this hoodie?" he asked, curious to know when it was happening.
Rory: "I want to see you pull it off, because you can't come smelling like soap so you might have to actually run back, to get the sweat that you need." she tapped her chin thinking about it."Either way i'm jealous." she shrugged."I was going to do it tonight but i don't know where to do it."
Wren: "Don't be jealous, you're getting what you want tonight" Wren replied. He was nervous for her, but he knew that Jonah's flame for Rory just ... there's no way it could go out. If anyone made him that jacket, he would know how much that meant. "Here, dummy" said Wren, "I'll totally get out of here" he said to encourage her. "Remember, I have all the anxiety. So no stressing" said the boy.
Rory: "Always the optimist, but yes I have no anxiety." she turned and looked at herself in the mirror. She looked good, so she didn't need to change. "I can do this." she said to more of herself than anything. "Wish me luck and have brownies in case this goes wrong. "I'll text you." she nodded reassuring herself.
Wren: Wren gave her a tight hug, "No matter what I love you, you're the coolest person I have ever met, and you're gonna do great" he said not really knowing what was right to say in the moment. "Me and the family anxiety are going to go get brownies right now" said Wren heading out of the room.

Entryway - Rory
@missrory
Rory: "I can't believe we are matching." The brunette said fixing her brothers shirt. "Its like all of elementary school all over again except this time. We look hella fly." Her tone was cocky.
Wren: "I mean, you can thank Valerie for the color selection" said Wren with a smile as she fixed him up. "But we do look sick as fuck. Bishop twins, absolutely killing the game" he said supporting her mood. He was happy that she was confident going into this, "I just have a great feeling about tonight" he added, "Do you?" Wren asked.
Rory: "I will remember to do that." She smiled softly. If they weren't no one could be able to really tell. They held things down so well it felt unnatural to vent to anyone else but each other. "Absolutely!" She wasn't sure to believe. Her night definitely started off with a fake smile. Hopefully it would end on a better note.
Wren: "Well, you look amazing and Jonah can eat his heart out. Not to mention if he gives you any trouble, I am prepared to scare the living daylights out of him. I won't lay a hand on him, but he will run away I guarantee that" said Wren pulling her into a hug, "Tonight's all about you" he added.
Rory: "I highly doubt he'll even notice me, devyn legit looks amazing." She said checking her makeup. " but i do like the idea." She laughed. Atleast tonight she didn't plan on being in her own like last time. " i love you."
Wren: "Devyn schevyn. You're Rory fucking Bishop" said Wren doing his best to gas her up. "I love you too, and don't mess with your makeup, you look great" he replied putting his arm out so he could escort her into the dance.
Rory: He was right, she was something amazing, "Fine." She said putting her lipstick back in her clutch. She took his arm and grabbed it, they should of smoked before walking in because for some strange reason she felt nervous as hell.
Wren: "Hey this might be the twin telepathy, but I do have a dab pen in my jacket if you need it" said Wren in a hushed tone as they walked in. He was also really nervous, but it was a good nervous.
Rory: The universe really did their thing by making them twins. She could never imagine herself without him. "You are the best ever." She teased." Also are you drinking tonight?"
Wren: "Flask in the other pocket" said Wren winking at her. "But don't worry I'll be ready to drive, I'm watching myself" he added. They were the perfect pair, he was glad he didn't ever have to do anything alone.
Rory: Rory had never had a drink in her life something about losing control or letting her guard down made her uneasy but she had been thinking about it just a little.
Wren: "That is if you want to drink, I'll support you either way" said Wren giving her a pat on the shoulder, "But in the meantime, should we dance?" he asked moving them towards the dance floor.
Rory: "I might try it." She shrugged. " we should definitely." Rory said excitedly. She was a good dancer, she took dance since she was 5. "Let's show them how rhythm really looks."
Wren: "At the afterparty, we have all the band stuff set up. I don't know if you saw it in the yard, but I'm really looking forward for our school debut" said Wren with a smile as they started to dance, they might not have much on the student body ... but they did have the best rhythm of anyone.
Rory: "I'm so proud of you, I can't wait I might be the loudest person there." She couldn't wait to cheer him on even if she was the only one to do so." Rory had fun moving her body to the music.
Wren: "You better be" said Wren with a smile as they danced, he remembered dancing around the kitchen when they were little, and their dance parties in the more recent years. He loved getting Nana in on the action, but sometimes when they both had a lot of stressful things, he loved just syncing up the speakers and blasting oldies through the house and having a dance party with her. "Who do you think is going to win homecoming court?" he asked, wondering where the night would go.
Rory: he knew she would, no matter what they would be there to show support. She watched him not being to play a single note and her cursing him out for the racket to him gracing her ears. " probably one of the popular people. I didn't even vote to honest." She twirled. " Who do you think is going to win?"
Wren: "Hate to say this, but at this school. I feel like I kinda am one of the popular people. I realized I wanted it the other day. I wish I hadn't thought about it because I don't think I'll actually win" said Wren to his sister. He had joked about him and Val winning, but he didn't think he wanted it until today.
