screamed and laughed so hard at a balls to the wall bonkers survivor episode that my throat is sore. i know this isn't a tumblrina thing to say and i should be off on twitter but i don't have one so have to say here that competition reality tv such as survivor and drag race is the peak of entertainment to me like i never ever get bored of it fr.
at this point i've gone back and watched 23 old survivor seasons and been watching live again since 41 and it never gets boring to me even the more predictable seasons!! i'm high on live tribal council rn!!!!! and then drag race finale this friday wowweeeeeee

I FINISHED THE BOOK. wowweeeeeee what a great read! (The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde)
I really enjoyed that! It was very thought provoking and surprisingly engaging. Just enough darkness to be slightly haunting, but not completely disturbing.
The writing was just brilliant. I worried that this would be too complex and I wouldn’t be able to hook into the language used but I didn’t find that. I did have to look up some words, but more because I was curious as to the meaning of them and want to expand my vocabulary.
The concepts of youth and selfishness and what selfishness really is were fascinating and I’m still undecided on how I feel about what I have just learned. And my perception of beauty and what beauty is has been challenged as well.
I guess the main thing I have taken away is that aging is essential, and how you live the life you lead is up to one’s self.
Overall I loved this book. I am a fan. I want to now read The Importance of Being Earnest at some point!
Onto the next book! Which is going to be The Midnight Library by Matt Haig!

😰 First ‘scary’ movie you saw as a kid
Jurassic Park 🤣 also the first vhs tape I owned myself! I was a dinosaur kid, totally obsessed. That and Jaws were my technical firsts! (Though I had been exposed to horror video games before these) My mom was picky with what I was allowed to watch, it was after I didn't have nightmares about these two that I was allowed to watch the 80s classics!
😒 Most annoying character in a scary movie
Okay oddly enough... I don't find many characters annoying as I find like.. general cast tropes to be. I'll always be annoyed by the popular teenagers trope, but I understand why they're there.
