Season 8 episode 9 Pre Wedding Jitters

That scene in 👏Nathan's 👏office👏 The lines they wrote for Kevin *chef's kiss* perfection. I mean, I still dont like this whole secret reveal thing. I think it's so dumb. Like, ain't no way the writers intended Nathan to have this secret when he first came to the show. I don't think he was suppose to have any secret at all. I mean, this whole, 'There's something he's not telling me' thing came out of nowhere. That aside, the love confession was great, again, and he left Elizabeth speechless again and she ran away, AGAIN. That tells me all I need to know. She cannot deny this man BECAUSE SHE LOVES HIM. And if y'all think otherwise than you're delusional.

The game at the bachelorette party. It was obvious from the promo for this episode how this would play out. She reaches for Nathan's hands and thinks he's the one. (I was predicting that she would know it was Nathan and then feel uncomfortable and move on, but that didnt happen. She thought he was Lucas *bleh. Though I was still right in thinking Nathan would be 'the one' during this little game). We like that. I really liked how the party scene lasted longer than I expected. It wasnt even too long of a scene, but it was definitely long for When Calls the Heart. This show really needs to work on it's pacing. Everything happens so fast bc they have to cut to the millions of side plots that happen in every episode. My gosh, would they give us some focus please.

When Lucas came by Elizabeth's house in the morning I enjoyed that they interacted more casually with each other it seemed, at least it did on Elizabeth's part. Just through small details like the way she was casually leaning in the doorframe or her tone of voice. She wasnt so awkwardly polite...but Lucas still was. Lucas is so polite it's uncomfortable. Like I don't feel like anybody could just be themselves around him, bc it's like every meeting has this awkward air of being polite to an acquaintance you dont know well. Ugh it's so weird. I didnt like that Elizabeth told him Nathan's reveal. I feel she should have kept that to herself. Ugh and then Lucas wanted to act all protective and 'talk' to Nathan. Oh please. That is not his place. Elizabeth is obviously the one who needs to talk with Nathan and it's no one else's business what goes in between them, besides Allie of course. And speaking of Allie, I thought her scenes were really good and thoughtful. I still think it was weird that Lucas got her a gift for her adoption ceremony, but whatever we are past that now. I like that her character is being more mature about everything too. I really hope we get a scene where Allie and Elizabeth have their own conversation though. They need it. I'm not sure how I feel about that obvious Paul (Florence's son) having a crush on Allie. It seems that the writers will want them to like each other. I guess it could be cute? It's just a little awkward bc we havent seen this Paul kid around before so it creates a weird air that the only reason he shows up now is to be a school crush for Allie. Eh. Jaeda was great though and I think she did her scenes well.

After Lucas and E talked, I think it's obvious to Lucas that Elizabeth has strong feelings for Nathan and that she's just running away from them. I mean, she told Lucas that when Nathan told her he loves her all she could do was say nothing and just leave. *holds out arms and stares with a 'well, there you have it' expression'* IT DOESNT GET ANY CLEARER THAN THAT. I wonder if the writers will make Lucas step down bc he cant be with someone who will never love him. Idk how Lucas will react honestly, Lucas's character is such a mystery to me I could never know what he would do in a situation that didnt involve setting up a perfectly romantic date or sweet talking someone with an annoyingly, unrealistic, perfectly understanding polite response.

Elizabeth was also super rude to the people she cares about in this episode. The way she talked to Rosemary. First, she didnt like hearing what Rosemary had to say, which implies that she may have been blaming Nathan for Jack's death. That is such a horrible thing to hold against someone. I mean I could understand why she would feel that way but just for a moment. I mean she should understand how completely wrong and irrational that thought process is and that she shouldnt blame Nathan. TWO, then she had the nerve to tell Rosemary something like 'why would you think that comment would help me right now'. Wow Elizabeth. Gee, maybe she's saying the truth and she's also your friend and just trying to talk things through and give her opinion as a way to help you through your difficult situation. God forbid she doesnt say the perfect thing that you needed to hear at that time, she can't read your mind. I thought that was incredibly rude. It hurt to see Rosemary hurt. And then later she told her that she should leave her house. *SCOFF* man, she was really hitting Rosemary hard this episode. If I were in Rosemary's shoes, yes I would be hurt, but I think I would mostly be understanding of what Elizabeth might be going through and not take anything personally. E's lucky that Rose is such a good friend. OH! What Rosemary told Nathan in the library! She totally implied with her little metaphor comparison that Nathan was making Elizabeth unhappy by getting in the way of true love, i.e. Lucas and Elizabeth. I-- wow! Everyone is against this man. I'm so glad that Nathan stands firm. I mean he knows that Elizabeth feels strongly for him based off her reactions to his honesty with her and how she never denies anything and just runs away. I mean, it's plain as day. Let's not forget the *speechless gaze into each other's eyes* 'I can't' from Honestly, Elizabeth.

I think that's it regarding the love triangle. I absolutely despise the Faith and Carson relationship. And I cant believe they made him say, come with me to Baltimore and we can see in a year if we want to get married. That is so dumb. He just asked Faith to drop everything and leave her life in Hope Valley for a 'I might break up with you in a year' situation. Dumb. This is definitely out of character for Carson. It's obvious the writers are just trying to get rid of him and make him not be missed by the audience. They clearly want us to favor Faith, but she couldnt be more annoying honestly. I wish she were leaving and Carson would stay in Hope Valley. But whatever.

I dont like how every side plot seems to be about some couple's budding relationship. I mean aside from the love triangle, we have Florence and Ned, Molly and Bill, Clara and Jesse (though not a budding relationship, it's still all about their relationship) and now Rachel and Christopher and oh yes also Fiona and whoever that guy is and wow I'm still missing Faith and Carson. Thats 6 other romantic relationships in the show (not including the also important one of Rosemary and Lee) and I'm probably leaving one out. Oh yes, now possibly Allie and Paul. 7. Seven relationship side plots!!! Omg I'm going crazy!! They need to learn how to write some actual plot! What happened to town problems and family drama! Thank goodness we have Henry Gowen and his son (cant believe I just complimented that out of nowhere concept but hey) and the oil thing with Lucas and Henry, barely ever a plot line. This show needs better writing. There's no glue holding the town together and even when there is, it's so small or happens so fast that it doesnt have any long lasting and meaningful affect.

If I weren't so invested in Elizabeth's plotline and in need of some wholesome tv, I would have stopped watching a long time ago. Oh and the last thing. The mention of Abigail. I'm so glad Henry mentioned her because she was very important to him and his character growth. His character arc is one of the saving graces of the show and it needs to be given more attention.

Okay in short, Elizabeth was hecka rude, Nathan is wonderful and so was that office scene. We also stan Allie. Next week's episode also looks like a dud and I dont think much will happen.

Blue's Highest Rank

I felt horrible because I wrote someone else a story, but I didn't write @nozapuns-nsfw a story. So i'd like to award this Fan Fic to them. I absolutely love their artwork, and I hope they continue to work of their 'Fractured comic'

I love how listening to a song can completely change my idea for this story. It was first gonna be a full story and all, but throughout downloading music on my phone for a trip im taking, I found a gem.

The gem was "Oh Cruel Darkness, Embrace Me" by IAMX

So basically that's the song you should listen to while reading this.

Summary: Blue Berry was the best of the best. He was quickly going up the ranks to become part of the Royal Guard. That changed when Blue was introduced to Alphys and Undyne.

Chapter 1: Oh Cruel Darkness, Embrace Me

Blue Berry was quickly working up the ranks. He started on the lowest of the low. Then he met Alphys, and thank lord he did. He was training with her, Every. Single. Day. He didn't really have any prior interactions with Alphys, but out of luck, they bonded quickly and things got straight to the point.

He had liked his time spent with Alphys, there was never a dull moment, Also he never knew what he was going to do during training. It always changed. It went to dodging attacks one day, to making Tacos in her kitchen the next. There was always something new to learn.

Blue wasn't sure when he met Undyne, but he knew Papyrus was friends with her. Papyrus didn't really get out the house much to hang out with anyone. Only time he went out was when he planned to get black out drunk at Muffets, but other than that, he found Papyrus going to Undyne's lab at random times during the night. He must have had a good reason to get up and go though. It wouldn't have been for nothing.

To Blues surprise, Papyrus actually knew Alphys. They had been friends before Undyne met Alphys. It always amazed Blue how almost everyone knew everyone in the underground.

Id it wasn't for Papyrus, he wouldn't know half the people he knows now. Papyrus was amazing. If it wasnt for him, Blue wouldn't have a room to sleep in nor have supplies to make food, even though Papyrus was mostly a lazy bum, he was Blue's lazy bum brother.

"Hey Alphys! Im here for today's training!" Blue couldn't wait for today's training, Alphys had something new in store, and laster on, Papy was going to come over and view their hard work.

Alphys jumped at the sudden loud voice coming outside her house. She had invited Blue earlier than usual, it wasn't something new shes done, but today she had a reason, and pulling it off wasn't going to be easy.

"Woah Blue, you scared me! Come on in, I gotta prepare the rest of the supplies."

Blue had already let himself in with the Key she leaves under the door mat.

"Wow Alphys, this place looks better and better each time we cook! With that being said, what are we making today? More tacos?"

"No, something better. Lets look at the menu."

Blue grabbed the piece of paper with the big letters on it spelling out 'MENU'. It had also been something Alphys did to tease Blue right before they started cooking. It was always Tacos, but he kept up the running gag, just for the giggles of it.

He unfolded it, revealing what they were going to make today. He eyes shrunk with fear.

"Today were making you.... Alphys this isnt funny you know!"

He saw Alphys out of the corner of his eye, he could see bright yellow magic coming off from her magically formed weapon. She loved using an axe. He quickly moved out the way, also using his bone attack to dodge it. He moved just in time, any second later, he would have been dust.

"Ha, nice Blue! You're getting better and quicker with each attack I throw your way. Sorry about my lil joke there, had to do something to get you distracted."

Blue's heart was pounding out of his chest. He knew at one point furing todays training, this would happen. Alphys said she does this to make him become aware of his surrounding at all times, but it still scared him shitless. Alphys could tell that Blue was very shook.

"Oh gosh, im sorry Blue. I should have done it while we were actually cooking. I won't do it again, I swear, just sit down at the table and ill make you some tea."

Blue dis just that. It was great to know Alphys didn't mean any harm, she never does. It was just a small scare, nothing else right?

"Here your tea Blue, again im sorry I did that. I wrote it for the fuck of it, then the idea came to mind where i can do the daily 'scare blue' skit, but it back fired. I truly am sorry Blue."

"No worries Alph. I know its a joke, I just need to stop being a big cry baby about it. Also thanks for the tea. But it's um.. Kinda sweeter than usual. What happened to 'my soul is black so my coffee and tea have to be the same'?"

"Oh actually its a different type of tea. Undyne gave it to me to try, and right now i can try it. But Blue, lets actually talk about the Guard. You kno--"

Blue couldn't think straight. He felt as if his whole world was spinning. He didn't like it, not one bit. Was it because of how scared he got earlier? Was he having a panic attack? He wouldn't know. He never had one before.

"Hey Alph. Im sorry but i think I got to cut th-this short. Sorry, it was uhh fun?" Blue was breaking a sweat by now. Maybe he was actually having a panic attack? Also what would he do about ? Papyrus wasn't home yet, and the way he was feeling, he wasn't getting home like this.

Blue looked up at Alphys. Her straight face had been completely gone, covered with a huge grin, starting from one side of her face to the other side. Blue was expecting her to look more freaked out like she had been when she had accidentally hurt him during training, but she stood absolutely still, giving Blue a horrid feeling.

"Oh please blue, what's wrong? Here, if you insist on leaving, let me carry you out the door." she said while walking towards his area. Blue was too freaked out by her fake response. It had seemed practiced, meaning she knew something he didn't.

Blue hesitated, backing away slowly from her, before bolting to the door. Even with how he was feeling, he could sense the danger. He didn't even make it anywhere close to the door, falling down after taking a couple of steps towards the direction. He couldn't move, and felt horribly tired.

For good measures, Alphys pinned him to the floor, magical axes surrounding him and the exit, if he planned to leave.

"Alphys? Why? What and why are you d-doing this? I'm sc-scared. Please, if I did anything to hurt you, l-l-let me know. I'll fix it just plea--" Blue had been cut off after he felt Alphys step on his ribcage. It hurt like hell, but he could take it.

"Honestly Sans, I'm sick and tired of you. Im doing this for myself, im just the message man at the point. But other than that, I can't stand you. Did you really think you, out of ALL monsters in the underground, you would be the same rank as me? There are kids, younger than you who have an actual chance of being in the Royal Guard. Sorry blue, you wont get the rank you want. But hopefully, this rank suits you and your lazy ass brother."

By this time, Blue had been trying to pull her leg off his ribcage. She was close to breaking it, and he would rather have a ribcage than none at all.

"OKAY OKAY OKAY G-GET YOUR LEG OFF!" Blue was struggling at this point. She was going to break it. He didn't want to die by getting stepped on, he was going to die in battle protecting everyone in the underground.

Alphys showed mercy, slowly lifting her leg off of his ribcage.

"This is how it's going to work okay Blue? I'm going to knock you out, don't worry, the most that would happen is you get a bruise, and I'll call Papy. You'll find everything out later. Goodnight Blue! Don't let the bed bugs bit."

Alphys couldn't really be doing this... It was a dream. He had to be. She would never harm him. At this point, hopefully Alphys knocking him out will cause him to wake up from this Nightmare.

Alphys came up to Blue, fist closed, ready to come in contact with his skull. It wasn't long before Blue actually knocked out.

Lucky for Alphys, the tea did most of the work, all she had to do was get him asleep. All she had to do now was call Papyrus and get him to teleport over to Undyne's lab.

Talking to people over the phone wasn't the easiest thing to do for her, but hey. She lied to Blue for most of tome they've known each other, so it shouldn't be harder over the phone.

"Pa-Papyrus? Oh thank god! Please come over quick! Its ! H-He fell and hit his head on the table! Come quick!"

Lucky for her, She didn't really have to give much detail regarding where she lived. Sometimes Papyrus would walk Blue home after practice, so he knew the way here. In seconds, a 'pop' noise came from inside her restroom.

"where is blue? oh my gosh... what happened?"

"I- I don't know! We were about to make Tacos, and he fell! Please take us to Undyne's lab, Im certain she knows what to do! S-she'll help!"

Papyrus didn't even have to think twice, he picked blue from off the floor, and teleported right into the lab.

Undyne was no where to been seen, and as the looks of it, so was Alphys. That's strange. Alphys was right next to him as he teleported.

"UNDYNE. NOW." Papyrus heard Alphys scream.He couldn't even turn his head before he passed out from whatever they did to him.

Him and blue were up for it when they woke up.

okay so

throughout your younger years youve never really paid much attention to your soulmate, ofc your parents told you when you were about four that the weird warm things you were feeling was your “one true love that you’ll meet later” and whatnot

i mean of course youd chuckle sometimes when your cheeks got all warm and an annoyed feeling fleetingly passed through you knowing your soulmate must be being coddled by one of his aunts or smth

but other than that

you just went on with your life

it wasnt until you were sixteen did you start paying more attention to it

sometimes youd get a bit worried when youd feel a warm spot on your arm and a surge of slight anger in your heart but it was always quickly replaced by happiness

you knew it was his friends hitting him by then so you just chilled tf

even when you felt your ass became VERY warm, you felt the same anger/happiness flow through your body so you just shook the fact that your soulmates ass just got BEAt off and continued what you were doing.

SOOOOO i haven’t done one of these in almost a month! i think it’s high-time to get back on track again! hopefully i can come out with the next one on the 11th instead of a month later.

He actually started going out. Thank you Wonder, you turned this hermit into less of a hermit. L.O.V.E.S pretty clothes. Wanted to learn how to sew at a young age, finally learned when he was around 20. Has had many years to practice. He’s around 110. Not sure exact age. Around 110. Past a little. Maybe he's 118?? Around. After his mother died, would constantly have nightmares and night terrors about it. Couldnt sleep. Eventually turned to not so great methods of getting to sleep once he got older. Has a fondness for butterflies. He likes their wings, they're pretty. Likes pretty things in general. A fan of tea. Its the only thing he can cook. Has started to get cooking sessions from Ilo. Loves Ilo. He loves Ilo. God does he love Ilo. Have I mentioned he loves Ilo? He does. A lot. Is planning a life together with his boyfriend, soon to be maybe husband?? (Ilo.) Is happier now because of that. Recently got his mom back, in a way. The tree she turned into is planted near his house now. Constantly visits her. Like everyday, if possible. Just talks to her. Was a lot more sassy, and I need to bring that back, I've fallen into this awful pit of writing him WAY too timid, I need sassy Victor back I miss him. Was totally freaked out the first time he found Earth. Now has gills. (thanks Ilo) Helpful. Now he will not drown when he spends time with his fish boyfriend. Likes spicy food. Sirin: Pronounced Seer-E-in. Hates Raphael with a burning passion. Black Market leader. Used to be shit, but now is less shit. Actually pretty nice. He’d punch someone for saying that though, he has a reputation to uphold. Loves Ari and would murder armies for him. If he ever gets his hand on a guitar or bass, would love to learn it. Trying to learn how to write English. Has not the best handwriting. Its not awful though, he used to have to write a lot. H A T E S paperwork. Likes his hair slicked back. Loves snakes, a snake from his world specifically, called the Spiked Bandit. Got it tattooed on his back. I have been told it looks like a tramp stamp. Oops. Snakes are his favorite, but he likes lizards too. Is not a fan of squishy animals. Got his name from shop keepers as he was growing up in the streets. Loves his name. Its a word in old Grey language. Means “snake”, “thief,” “trickster,” “lier.” God he was so proud of that name as a kid. Since he had to steal to get food, it would be a pretty good thing to literally be called thief I guess. Anyway, he was good at it. Got kidnapped at a very young age, and “used” at the black market. The old boss had taken a liking to him. It was not a good time. Once Sirin got a little older, he started to be able to use his magic, at the same time the black market decided he’d be good as an actual worker. As he trained for whatever common workers in the BM do, (I dunno, scale buildings and stuff. Learn the lay of the town, good spots to run, hide. Steal people. Sell drugs. Ect. Illegal stuff.) he would teach himself how to use his magic at night. Doesnt like fighting close. His magic usually manifests as chains, appropriate. Can change the density (?? how much they would hurt. Ex: getting hit by a pillow, vs, getting hurt by a chain.) how many they are (can make up to six at a time), how fast they can move, can suspend them for a few seconds, if they are spiked or not. He can also form spikes along his body. Is mostly a reflex, and he can accidentally hurt people with that. EXTREMELY scared of accidentally hurting Ari that way. Born High Winter day 15 probably. Was dumped in the trash shortly after being born. (his mom was young, she couldnt take care of him. shes dead. Dads still alive in a different town.) Used to have a tattoo marking him as “property” of the black market, PROMPTLY sliced that off once he killed the old boss and took his place. Actually, now that i think about it, his back is REALLY fucked up from that. Wow. Okay. Will update that when drawing him. Besides that mess, his back is littered with smaller scars, along with the edge of his shoulders, a bit around his neck, a little on his sides, and some around his hips. Will not allow people to see his back. If someone gets to see his back it means he really trusts them. Halfling, unknown to him until recently. I'm not really sure about his age yet. He could be like around 40, but maybe not, cause like, its more like he's in his 20s so maybe he's just in his 20′s idk. Is perpetually tired. Seems to always have some dark under his eyes. Would eat pure sugar if he could. He could. He has. One of the first things he did once he was no longer under the black market was buy a few cakes then ate cake until he threw up. ......Then started eating cake again. Skin is a light green, and a little rough if you rub it one direction. Sorta like shark skin, but less. Can see in the dark. Eyes glow when under stress, or extreme emotions. Once Typheous was killed (by him) he put Sena in charge. Checks up on her occasionally. Put an old abandoned building to use, made it free housing for some of his lower ranking workers, as well as the orphan kids around town. Would always bring food to them. Can't really do that anymore, he's never around. The building looks kinda like a warehouse/hotel?? Idk. No body really knows who started the house, only that it's a safe, if dingy and kinda cold, place to find shelter. It's dry at least. Sirin made sure no one knew who did it (reputation.) He has a small apartment there. Keeps his clothes in the cupboards. Not a lot of furniture in there really. Has a habit of going out in the cold without proper clothing. Sits and just thinks sometimes. Used to sometimes just sleep in a tree outside of town when it was warmer. Has anger problems. Still a little bit of an asshole, depending on who he's talking to. Has a burning hate for apples. Will still eat them though. Hates spicy food. Likes meat. Has had a hole punched through him by Seldom. Was briefly a doughnut. A person doughnut. Gosh this boy is just fulla injuries past and present. The hole situation is better now. Pansexual. Typheous: (Tie- fee- O ss) Used to be Sirin’s second in command. Meaning, Sirin loved to annoy the hell out of him. Used to be in charge of a lot of the stuff in the market. VERY homophobic. Was garbage, not the best kind. Was the “new leader” for a short time, as Sirin was stuck with Victor/Wonder/and Ilo. Poked around in stuff that was none of his business, was an asshole about it, and is dead now. Cisor: (Si- sore) Raph’s hound. Aggressive. Was probably a cute puppy.

Ciro Niver: (Si- row Nigh- ver) Gilli and Lita’s little brother. A. Dor. A. BLE. Wonder did something to him, and I guess he has a little magic now??? Idk. Will clarify. Almost died cause Seldom’s an asshole. I think he's 6 at the moment. Somewhere around there. Pretty sure it's 6 though. Never met his dad. Loves fluffy animals the best. A rascal. Thinks his sister is loud. Would be the kid that says girls have cooties. His sister has cooties. He loves his sister. Hates when his mom makes soup with the gross green leafy stuff in it. Likes when they have meat. Likes the new house, but misses his old room. He shouldn't. He used to live in a tiny cold attic. His mom used to have to crouch when she went up there. And she's short. EVERYONE had to crouch when they went up there. Kinda misses the squeaky stairs. Straight, when he's older? And I guess now?? Does it work like that??? Idk he's 6. His greatest love is his toys at the moment.

Itella: (E- tell- la) Victor’s caretaker and guardian. Seldom killed her. Was totally cool, a complete badass. I miss her. Had a spider torso. Loved to wear low cut dresses with tons of ruffle at the bottom. Kinda mean, but for the best. Loved Victor. Super smart. Used to be an assistant/ partner with Nico. Kept lots of plants around in her house. Her house was a mess. Books and plants everywhere. Dusty in places. Never ate in front of Victor, didn't want to frighten him as a child. The habit stayed even when Victor was older. Asexual, aromantic.

Seldom: Victor’s father. Dick. Was banished from whatever the name of his people’s lands are called. I gotta name stuff. Conquest’s son. Blind in his lower eyes, and had his lowers arms removed when he was born. They didn't work. Straight.

Rune: Victor’s mother. Dead. Killed by her husband, Seldom. Very nice. Now a tree. Still very nice. Died Summer day 2???????? Same race as Rapheal, whatever that is. They turn into plants when they die, I still gotta develop them. Straight.

Nico: Reformer. Knows Tulli. Is someone close to Itella. Not sure of their relationship yet, besides partners in business, like, coworkers. They do science or something? Aromantic. Pansexual.

Riva Niver: Gilli's mom. Super sweet. Has a stutter. Extremely relived to have a new house, thank you Wonder. No longer has to worry about brittle stairs that Ciro woNT STOP RUNNING ON. Still sad about her husband’s death, but tries not to let her children see that. Loves her kids more than anything. Straight.

Sena: Silver. Girl left in charge of the black market in Sirin’s stead. Used to just work the shop they used to hide an entrance. Was understandably freaked out when she was just put in charge of the whole market. Many people would like her dead now. She's got a good bodyguard though. I hope she doesn't die, she's nice.

Lita Niver: Ciro/Gilli’s sister. An adorable miss. Best friends with Miki. Loves cute clothes, sweets, going out and getting drunk and hitting on cute guys. Wishes she had a boyfriend. Works at a cafe across the cafe Miki works at. Isn't treated so great there. :/ Is optimistic. Has a shitty apartment that she refuses to believe is shitty. Its shitty. its basically a closet. so i spent 3 weeks at ph and oh gosh

week one:

the flight wasnt bad at all tbh i got to watch my kdrama & listen to my favorite music

scratch that was kinda annoying because my brother took a xan & instantly knocked out once we were seated, my mom and a flight attendant got extremely worried because he wasn’t really opening his eyes

i told them he was just really tired

he fuckgin drooled and it smelled

i couldnt sleep for like an hour or two because we saved his dinner but on my tray and it bothered me

incheon airport is so nice omfg !!!!! bought a macaron at a starbucks there & i wish we had that here at u.s

my uncles picked us up from the airport and our younger uncle (20 yrs old) got chubbier and said he got really fat so we were like no ur jst thicc

while we were waiting for my mom to fix her phone he was talking to me about kdramas because he saw the iu photocard on my phone LOL but its really interesting because guys arent really into stuff like that

found out his girlfriend makes him watch kdramas lol

found out the portions at jollibee were wayyy smaller so my uncle told me to buy two of the same food yah huge shock to me

the wifi was incredibly slow; we had to buy this portable wifi in which we bought 1gb of connection for idk 300 pesos??? wow first world problems for sure

my mom, brother & i slept on the same bed & it was just so hot i honestly could not sleep (we couldnt really sleep anywhere else)

the next day my cousins and i walked to our other cousins house & the aircon in her home was just fucgkin AMAZING

we could not stand the heat tbh it ruined us

we went to the next town over to buy stuff at the market because we found out my uncle had fake gucci slippers

i bought fake nike slippers and some of us got the same along with gucci ones lol

went deeper in the market and found hella fake stuff like fake vans and addidas (i was planning to come back to buy them and when i came back to the market we didnt have time to get them so im really bummed esp since they’re cheap like 200 or 300 pesos only)

went to the local mall the following day & found this really cute shop that resembled h&m, i ended up buying this overall dress & used up 800 pesos out of 1000 & didnt have enough to buy anything else lol

went to the supermarket the following day inside another mall & ended up buying a bunch of snacks in BULK (my cousins bought wine & alcohol, ended up tasting really weird)

bought a LARGE ASS bulky bag of corn chips called bawang na bawang & when my auntie found out i called it “bah-wang” instead of “buh-wang” she kept laughing & told everyone else because apparently im saying town instead of garlic

met my other cousins’ family (they live in the same town, a 2 minute drive basically) and ate good food, talked to their uncle about palawan since we were going there soon

attended our parent’s high school reunion and watched them perform this dance line lol

we werent really interested in their reunion, i mean it wasn’t really for us anyways??

i actually got really sick the day before new years, i had a bad fever & had cold sweat. i told my cousins to move the fan away from me despite the weather being 80+ degrees :-(

i took antibiotics & got better several minutes before the new years hit lol

week two:

got sick to the point where i lost my voice

went to pagasinan and ate rly good sisig & etc

went to the same supermarket from the one back in my family’s hometown and ended up buying more snacks in bulk

my skin got super worse & im just like fuck it dammit

on jan2 we were supposed to go to palawan but our flight was delayed, we were transferred to a super nice hotel nearby, free of charge of course

got a massage with two of my other cousins for the first time, the lady thought i was korean so they were like “oh !!! korean!!”

i couldnt speak so my manang talked for me lol

gosh the massage was both relaxing and hurtful LOL

i understood the lady speaking to her coworkers as she was massaging me as she said she felt sorry for me because my skin has alot of scars

i didnt mind at all, i felt bad that she had to see it tbh

she told me to turn my body facing the ceiling so i did and omfg she pulled the towel and massaged my ..... armpits and boobs (im so ashamed because i shaved before i left the airport and it grew fast oh my god)

my cousins and i were talking about how our butts hella hurt after they massaged that part because FUK it hella hurt oh my god i have never clenched my buttcheeks so hard in my life

my kuya said he was ticklish there so he let out a giggle

we boarded our flight to palawan the next day and went island hopping right away. i felt really bad because my skin got even worse so it made me uncomfortable & i couldnt talk to anyone so yeah bad time lol

island hopping was nice nevertheless, we couldnt explore the cave because the tides were high

my cousins, brother and mom got a massage at the hotel we were staying after finding out we got one in the other hotel

the masseurs come to the room instead of having a separate room

so i couldnt go to sleep right away since the bed was being occupied smh

we went to a place called bakers hill the next day & it was really nice idk how to say it, it was much of a hill tho. lots of places to take pictures there i guess??? theres only one bakery there and its small, the families bought alot of pastillias and hopia to bring back home, basically we left the store with a box full of sweets

went to bagiuo the day we returned back to our town and went to a place called mines view where we had an amazing view of the hills/mountains

its realllly nice and green and man !!!!! gr8 view

went shopping for gifts at the local market and bought a jacket & two wooden keychains shaped as a small ..... dicc

my brother bought a wooden flute and he really used it throughout the whole trip like he played in the house AND during car rides. i think the good part was that it wasnt annoying at all, he actually knew how to play and did some covered a bunch of songs that made all of us laugh (my cousin recorded it and has the videos on her phone so i cant show everyone here)

we went driving at pengbenga park, but not literally driving. we got to drive these plastic race car things and it was sososo fun!!!! i overtook some kids & adults but mostly kids on the driveway & i crashed like only twice

we were given the choice to use a bike/multi-seater bike, race car, & other stuff but yeah race car boi

ate really bomb waffles and pancakes at this pancake house and LORD !! GOOD AMAZING AAAHH OOOOO

went to a small mall the following day and bought 50 peso facemasks and i spent like 15 dollars worth of them??? idk i just bought hella without counting my money lol

drove to manila few days later and went to a place called greenhills (famous for fake brands like nike and gucci) and my cousins and aunties bought alot of gucci, ray bans, louis vuitton (wallet, belts and bags lmao). went to a store called miniso and it was so packed i wasnt able to look around as much, & i really wanted to go here ;___; it was okay tho

so there are basically two malls in one, one small one with a food court and market with the fake items and a REAL mall; they’re connected by a yard which is partially a church lol (there was a tv outside so we assumed it was a concert of some sort, found out there was a priest praying inside the building along with so many others)

next morning, instead of going to another pancake house we were accidentally taken to a coffee house but honestly, it was the best choice ever

it was so fuckgin AESTHETIC I LOVED IT they decorated the place with flowers and it wasnt like overwhelming full of flowers it was just right and the iced latte?? AMAZING and ugh man i loved ittttttt

we went to a museum after and learned so much about jose rizal and the history of philippines before and during spanish colonization and it was super interesting

darn u white ppl go away

it was really ironic to see white people check out the museum too like.. first u colonize us then u wanna check our museum hm

went to eat after at a place similar to pepper lunch, so basically hot sizzling food

i ordered a sizzling tapa and it was so fuckgin AMAZINg gattdamn ugh i love sisig

we went to the mall after hoping to check out another museum inside the place (an ice cream one) but we found out that it was opened until feb

anyways we checked out the whole mall and ate some aesthetic looking ice cream which was amazing also

dropped off two of our cousins at the airport since they were only here for two weeks (the rest of us dreaded over the fact that we had one more week left when our trip here was originally 2 weeks)

went back to my familys town at la union and didnt do much

spent two days at baguio, day 1: found a kbbq and ate lunch there, it was only 300 pesos per person so we werent complaining

we went to the mall after and i checked out this store that had really amusing shirts, bags and pouches. i ended up buying a shirt with a bunny that said “bunnies like carrots but not this one. this one chose the jacuzzi” it was so amusing omfg

i bought a pouch that said “lechon is my lifeforce” aka pig and my friends were like “thats really amazing”

we left the mall to buy tea and i didnt have enough because i bought the bunny shirt so my uncle bought a drink for me LOL (i felt so bad tho)

watched netflix the whole time till it was time to sleep

the next day my other cousin was dropped at the house and we went to go out for a different kbbq place, it was much better (500 pesos per person too!)

went to the mall again and watched jumanji

watched black mirror when we came back

left the next day & went back to the mall since it connected to the other large buses to go back to town

week three:

next morning i met a faith healer who looked for the cause of my eczema, she cured my mom the day before because someone had cursed her food (she had stomach cancer several months back but she’s better, she occasionally has stomach problems tho)

one of the amazing things i have heard from her was that when she was cleaning my moms body with a white towel, she squeezed out the remaining water & black sand came out. she says the curse has been removed & that she’ll feel better soon

she looked at my skin and proceeded to put a special oil everywhere and said it mightve been the burning of a dwende outside the house when i was kid (when he was hurt, he probably hurt me too)

the next day she came by again and lathered a special oil again and came to the conclusion that when i visited the house when i was about 4-5 years old, the dwendes decided to play with me (which actually hurt me so)

she said to only have faith and keep praying, virgin mary will come by to heal you in the form of a sudden breeze with a nice scent

i know that alot of people might think this is crazy and all, but since i come from a spiritual family and had actual experience with something like this, its really easy to believe

it seems like the dwendes dont like modern medicine so everytime i put on my creams or ointments, the healing effect didnt last long

the next and final day, she put on oil once more and concluded that the dwendes have been playing with me since i was a kid so it was the root of my eczema. she had personally asked them to stop yesterday so she said they wont play with me anymore

as she was lathering oil on my skin, she said that i had nice legs and hands, the dwendes had played with me because i was “pintas” or pretty

so that kinda shocked me like me? pretty?? lol

but after that she said i will get better, i need to have faith and pray all the time. once you believe, it will happen (i have great faith in both the faith healer and myself healing, my wounds are slowly closing so im really determined to recover from eczema)

the thing about faith healers is that they DONT ask for money. you could donate, but they dont ask for anything at all. i believe that they heal people in the form of good will

my mom & i gave money and clothes, and soap as a payment for her time and faith healing and im sososo thankful for her

she also did this thing where she could figure out things by putting oil and water in a plate and picking out rice grains and letting them either sink or float in another bowl

3 rice grains had floated while the others sank and she concluded that there was something wrong with me, both spiritually and physically?? i couldnt understand quite well since they were speaking in ilocano

but something along the lines of that, she had called me soul in order to protect me so i can heal. and that kinda boggled me like soul? is that always with you? is my soul somewhere else? why was it that my soul had to be called? so yeah interesting

she also found out that my grandpa had visited (he visited last week too, along with my grandma) and he’s just watching the family in the living room

also odd thing but last week a white butterfly came inside the house while my cousins and i were just doing whatever and it landed on the couch my manang and i were sitting on

my kuya said there was a butterfly behind me and i was like fuk imma move couches cuz i just dont like bugs in general (my cousin had entered the back door the other night and felt something crawling on his head so he slapped it away, turns out it was a HUGE spider so yeah FUK that lol i wanted to throw up when i saw it)

so i switched couches and the butterfly followed me and went on my head so i shoo’ed it away

the next day after it had happened a lady who had a third eye/some sort of spiritual power said my grandparents visited last night and i guess i shoo’ed my grandpa away lol

anyways, going back to the rice grain thing, the faith healer knew i couldnt sleep well because my body has been burning for the longest time, so she put those 3 rice grains in a cotton ball and safety pinned it to my shirt

my mom said that her mom would often do the same thing to her sisters back when they were kids, it was really effective in to protecting yourself

i think its really crazy how theres so many spirits and the like in philippines, and also in vietnam and other asian countries as well. i thought it was because it was 3rd world countries or countries that had been colonized

i searched it up and 1) when PH was colonized, the conquestors often scared them with stories about spirits and 2) when the angels had fought lucifer and his army out of heaven, alot of them fell on earth, landing on the islands of PH

we all packed our stuff last minute and my mom was having a hard time since everything could not fit in the luggage, i told her just to put everything in our large balikbayan box and she refused, she eventually gave up (even the stuff barely fit inside the box). we left at 1am that day for the airport at manila and man, i guess i’ll miss ph

our stopover was at incheon again and this time we had more time to buy stuff at the airport. my mom bought her starbucks mug in which she was excited about. i bought another macaron and planned eating it on the airplane but my mom misplaced it & once we came back i found out it was smashed lmfao

i went to the duty free store and looked around for some snacks, the ladies were rly kind in helping me, i tried speaking in korean but had no luck at all lol all i said was kamsamnida after they had helped me

while waiting for our flight, my mom and aunties were telling us about stories about our other auntie since she’s really mean and all lol we were all curious to why she had treated everyone so unkindly basically the their whole lives

my cousins dont like this specific aunt and i dont have a good judgement of her either but my other aunt told us to always be kind despite that.

i had planned to watch the rest of my kdrama on the plane but i knocked out for 9 out of 11 hours of the flight

the men at the airports where they check our passport were so handsome omfg. the ones both at manila and san francisco like... so... handsome. i told my mom that they’re really good looking and she assumed it was because they were light skinned but even if they werent light, they were SO handsome like i dont discriminate against color man if youre handsome you are HANDSOME

arrived back at SF at 2pm and my manang welcomed us by making us cajun shrimp and it was literally the best meal ever ugh i miss american food

i had school the NEXT day, and i had barely realized that i signed up for a class at UC DAVIS instead of sacramento and oh my god i was truly fucked up lol (ended up fixing it tho)

i checked up on my character on maplesaga and found out that literally everyone had outleveled me like ok fuk

to summarize the 3 weeks there, my skin did not get better at all lol. although we were originally going to stay for 2 weeks, my mom couldnt fix our flight time and ended up staying there longer. despite it being dreadful at times, im really lucky that i had met a faith healer the 3rd week for my eczema. if i had left the 2nd week, i would not have been healed (the doctors here in u.s were completely useless so...) i was sick 80% of the time of the trip which made me feel bad lol but its my immune systems fault :-/// im really prone to extreme changes in weather, so coming from a 50 degree city to a 80 degree country took a toll on my body. it was the same back at home, during the summer the weather was often bipolar so that also took a toll on my body

anyways its so good to be back home except for the piles of homework stacking up ;__;

: Ahri VS Jay - SHOWDOWN

It was a dark and snowy night. Ahri had been bored, so bored, you wouldn’t believe it. She had been there together in the room with Ray, Payton, gabe and jon. Normally they could perfectly entertain each other, but not this time. And to make matters worse, it was almost impossible to go to town. It was too snowy, too dark.

“Urgh,” said Ray, “I wish Jay would say something. At least we’d have something to do.” Payton agreed, “I agree,” she said and throwing her mobile phone at the wall, just to catch it again when it bounced off. “Uuuurgh,” she then said as well, because she agreed with Ray, “Don’t you know anything we can do, Ahri?” .

Ahri’s gaze went down the room, past a teddy Bear and a stack of g-strings. Then Her eye fell onto a lone empty bottle they had used the evening before.

I know,” said Ahri, “How about we play...............spin...the....BOTTLE!”

“What a superb idea” “Oh yeah!” Jon and Gabe also peaked up “Yeaaaah!”

So they all sat down and Ahri took the bottle first. Hilariously, it landed on Gabe, but Ahri thought Gabe was a bit too creepy and really didn't want to kiss the man. She hoped the others might have mistook it for landing on Payton, but judging by the howls of laughter and the rising anticipation in the room, they probably didn't.

"But but dont you all see it really landed on Payton?" "Loool no, u should kiss Gabe," said Payton. The fact that she said it made Ahri feel so embaressed.

But then, all of a sudden.... Jay commented on Ahri’s fan fiction about everyone !. We all simultaneously turned our heads and had a scrubs moment were we stared off and imagined ways to punish jay. ( a flash back pay has ) Payton enters the scene, but whats this? Ray is there too.

"Do you remember that thing that happened a few months ago? The one that seemed like it would split us apart forever, but instead brought us closer then ever? That brought us......to each-other?"

"The time with .. the rumours ?" "Yes!" "Oh, yes right "

"Its hard to believe what happened isn't it? What happened and what it led to" "Yes my queen" said Ray, giving Payton a kiss. "Now that Ive got it again I will fight my hardest to keep it." "It was pretty life changing."

So now we all snap out of our own thoughts and the camera of our minds draws back to the world we know now. But before everyone got themselves ready to go after Jay, there was one thing Ahri wanted to take care of. She had to introduce Ray to her parents. Ahri had been thinking for it for a longtime. Her parents were the worst. cruel, pathetic and sexist. But Ahri had told them that she finally got engaged and that she would introduce Ray to the family before they could meet her fiance. a desperate attempt at the hope ray could help them see things differently. if he couldnt do it , no one could. "Uuuuurgh," Ahri said "I can handle it," Ray said "You don't know my parents!" Ahri said. "I know, but if they created you, then they can't be that bad," Ray spoke wisely. "I knoooooow but it's still...uuuuuurgh." "We'll just go there and I'll impress them," Ray said very manly Then Ahri suggested he bring payton so we had more support. She felt safer with them there. Ahri knew that whatever would happen, pay would protect her.

The day of the dinner had come. Ahri , Ray and pay took an uber to her parents. They came into a dining room and the table had already been set. "Ah, you've finally arrived," Ahri's mom said and she looked at Ray, "You're late." "It wasn't her fault," pay said as protective of Ahri as she was. "It was the weather." "Sure... sure..." Mom said and she went back to the kitchen. "Wow," Ahri said, "she didn't even shake your hands." "Oh well," Ray said seeming unfazed. Oh gosh, that nonchalant way. Exactly the reason why Ahri had asked him along. Ahri was busy swooning over her fiancé when her dad came in. "Boy," dad said and stared at Ray. Ray shook his hand politely. "Ah, you're here too," dad said to Ahri and pay, "Help your mother out, it's time that the men have a conversation." "uuuuuurgh," Ahri said and went into the kitchen dragging pay along. Then Ahri's mother made her do all sorts of annoying useless jobs. After all, as mom said, people like them were inherently used to these sorts of things. Then dinner came. Ahri was told to take the food in while mom and dad sat down. pay wasn't even allowed to see where Ray went off to. Just before she carried in the first plate of food, she felt something weird. Like a cross wire went down her back, tingling all along the way down. Something was off, but Ahri was still too annoyed with her parents!

Meanwhile, back at their house, gabe and jon were enjoying each-others company. As the narrator, I will respect their privacy and not specify how.

Ahri carried in the meal. But no one was there. Instead, at the end of the table, sat Jay!

Jay laughed at her, "My my, that apron makes your tits look huge !" Ahri threw down the meal and looked around anxiously for someone, anyone. Not only was Jay going to feel the fullest extend of Ahri's righteous fury, Ahri could also unleash her frustration with her parents !

She threw the dish at Jay like a Frisbee. But as it was about to hit him, he stepped just out of the way ! "If you want to see your parents again," Jay said, "come to my Apartment" Ahri felt conflicted. On one hand, Ahri hated her parents, on the other, she wasnt sure if her friends where with them. Ray came in and said: "We should save your parents." "You guys are here ! we have more important things to worry about he found out where my parents live ? was he watching our messages ?," Ahri said. "No he shouldnt be able to unless ... that fan fic really set him over the edge ? .. he is a loose canon." said rain. "your right. he probably would." pay chimed in. -- -- --

Jay: what do you mean, it's over ?! it cant be ! Ahri: No No, back into your casket! Jay: Grrrr. You will never get me in my box. I am too large and too sexy! Ahri: you would if i told you it was attached to an under-aged girl. Jay: but.. cant you just send me some pics ?! Ahri: Noooo! Whats wrong with you !? Jay: life isn't worth living without being able to psychologically damage people !. Ahri: OK, Ur right, life isn't worth living when your that far gone ”. ray and pay walk into the creepy alleyway after hearing things get loud from the car. Ray: you need to leave us all alone its not worth it to us ! Jay: huh ;^_^; .. why ?, so you get to be happy with your girl ? and i get nothing ? .. Payton: BAKAI !! ". pay runs at jay punching him and knocking him to the ground. Ahri: PAY ! Ray: awww hell naww ". rain grabs pay and pushes her towards ahri , grabbing jay by the shirt and dragging him around a corner . Ray winked at Ahri, " go get your parents " . But Payton was all hot 'n ready to kill jay , Ahri thought she better do something quickly. So Ahri pecked Payton on her cheek and looked her in the eyes. " come on he'll be fine , we can help by getting this done . pay and ahri dash off towards the sounds of banging in the distance. " there ! i see them i'll untie them head back to ray ", ahri exclaimed smiling at pay . Ahri caught up with pay quickly and they jogged back to rain . " where are your parents ?, are they okay ? " ahri responded softly but audibly . " it doesnt matter , theyll be fine lets just get home safe ". with that they didnt talk again until they arrived back at the alleyway and saw ray just standing there a smile on his face . pay ran into his arms smiling and gave him a kiss , then punched him in the stomach . " that was for worrying me you bakai !! ". rain just smiled at her and put her on his back so he could carry her, we could all go home. ray day dreamed on his way home with pays arms wrapped around his neck. "arg...that was good " said Ray. "yes, yes it was" said Payton. "You seemed a little distracted near the end though. Not your normal energetic self" "yes...sorry about that. I was thinking back to eight months ago, when I first realized my feelings for you even though I didn't know it at the time. Its what opened my eyes to what I felt all along ".

"And our love grew together from that moment to today"

And they smiled at each-other, as we fade out into the sunset. So they defeated Jay and everyone was satisfied!
