Cheers! Banana pineapple smoothie with M&M’s is exactly what the doctor ordered for getting my strength back, right? Heh. We are both a bit under the weather but I have totally gone down the rabbit hole on #costumecollege which I didn’t even know was a thing until recently. And thankfully, we live super simply so when I discover something fascinating (like a whole parallel universe where people dress in exactly historically accurate clothing as their daily life wear) I can take some time and just dive in. Thank you #tinyhouse lifestyle!! I am seeing a lot of sewing in my future. I used to sew and make hats. I just watched a woman build a shoe. I need to try that. I found a #worthgown or two that it would be amazing to make versions of, and I want to drape my own hand painted version of a #dolcegabbana dress I saw on a runway. Plus, after watching @edwardian_tailor ‘s history of Mennonite clothing, I want to make my own version of a Modern Major Mennonite dress in linen, or a lovely slubby silk. Because a plain dress in a killer fabric is Tha Bomb, and somehow makes me giggle like I’m pulling some sort of dressmaking prank. LOL! And then there is the complete #missfisher and #frankiedrake 1920’s #capsulewardrobe that I NEED (LOL!) and, and, and... and projects in my must-stash that are suddenly calling (screaming) my name. Basically, instead of just eight projects waiting in the wings - I now have four thousand. THANKS COSTUME COLLEGE! Thanks. Just Thanks. Sigh.
