Work to live, don’t live to work.

Don’t give your life to your work, it won’t be there for you for the rest of your life. It won’t make you a tea after you get home from a hard day in the office, it won’t greet you at your front door with a hug and a picture it did of you at school, it won’t be there at the end tossing a coin over which nursing home you’re going into or whether or not the machine should stay on.

It’s only the big CEO’s, Directors, etc of companies that were reliant on their people forgetting this who are pissed about the sudden drop in free labour (time spent thinking on work issues is still time spent working) that have coined ‘quiet quitting’ and made it a ‘very bad thing’.

People aren’t just sitting around doing bare minimum, they’re just doing their jobs and not spreading themselves so thin over different areas that aren’t connected to them or that they get the training and pay to deal with... and then have to take it home because they took on so much extra work ‘for the team’.

Don’t let people bully you into overworking with the new buzzwords.

Honestly any time a picture is released with O and H together, it’s just utter cringe. Not even natural or cute. No part of me can see them together and find it believable. It was embarassing when their first set of photos were released, and it’s even more embarassing now that their using this as a form of promo for the movie. It’s terrible.
