Official announcement regarding my Whitty x Ruv fic, Protecting Him
Hi everyone! I’ve been keeping my followers updated on this recently, but given recent developments, I’ve decided it was time for a fully tagged, official announcement.
As I’m sure some of you are aware, I used to be a Friday Night Funkin fan, and I have a fanfic on AO3 about Whitty and Ruv (romantic) and how they fall into a situation with Updike, here’s the link https://archiveofourown.org/works/32287609/chapters/80030356. I worked on this quite a bit last year, however after several late updates, I suddenly went radio silent. I apologize for this, and I will explain more later on as of why this happened.
However, I’m here to say this fanfic is OFFICIALLY continuing! I just finished putting together a map of plot points for the rest of the fic as well as what I want to work more on and how I want it to all wrap up. I may not be into FNF anymore, but I adored writing this fic and you all have been incredible and supportive. So, I decided it’s about time I bring it back, yeah? :>
I don’t have an official chapter amount, or release date for chapter 20 yet, but I will absolutely keep you all updated. I read through the posted chapters and edited a few typos and added some details, as well as updated the tags! One is a slight hint of what’s to come, as well.
Thank you all so much for the support, and I can't wait to finish more chapters for you guys. I hope this is able to reach my old readers <3

Since whitty and ruv often get chased by people, they have both decided that whitty gets to choose the place where they would go hang out, have dates and basically anything else.
Because the last time ruv chose a place some TGG agents found them and they had to hide in an alley the whole night-
Sorry for the late reply freind, haven't corked my inbox for a hot minute.
Ooh, I like this one. Though, I think Ruv would end up going overboard with possible "safe" dating spots after he messed up once. If Whitty ever let him pick again after that, Ruv would probably choose to have a romantic dinner in a drainage pipe a mile outside of the city lol.

Stargazing w/ vanillabomb!
Likely involving a stolen car (thanks Ruv), the two drive out to the middle of field, get out and onto the cars hood and just kinda... look at the stars, one of them (likely Whitty) resting their head in the others lap, taking in the moment and each others company.
Something cute, something simple in comparison to the last batshit prompt I came up with ages ago!

A Little Update
I’m slowly working on a little fic for Bugsnax! It’ll be Filbo/Journalist and I’ll keep it gender neutral so anyone can insert their player character in.

Wow I'm glad ur still in the FNF fandom! I love love loveeeee ur writing about anything that's related to FNF but the whitruv just hits way too hard and I'd love to come up with some and let you read to see what you think!
-Ruv has this weird habit of bouncing his leg (not out of anxiety, just a habit to ease boredom or anything else) when he's thinking about something and when he's standing he's either tapping his foot or lightly snapping his fingers, but whenever Whitty sees this he would literally pop the most shit eating grin and think of countering these habits lol
-speaking of bouncing leg, Whitty just holds Ruv's thigh still and would ask "whatchu thinking about?" And Ruv would click his tongue and smack him "shut up, I'm thinking."
"and I'm asking about it??"
"Fuck off." And it only makes whitty amused with ruv even more, and with being even more amused then all the more ways whitty comes up with countering Ruv's habits
-One day, ruv is just standing around somewhere tapping his foot, probably thinking about what chores he could do to help around the church, and Whitty would just
-step on his foot (lightly)
-and proceed to ask "care to share ur thoughts?" Ruv just kicked his foot and walks away, whitty loves ruv's reaction to these
-whenever ruv is snapping his fingers while also thinking about something, whitty just notices and interlocks their fingers together, "stop thinking and enjoy the moment will you?"
-ruv just sighs and decides to play along
Now that we're done with Ruv's habits how about whitty's habits
-whenever he's buzzed about something, or just trying to come up with a new and original song, his wick lights up very faintly
-basically any intense thinking
-and ruv, who's had his share of whitty being a lil shit with his own habits (his little shit) decides to just squeeze the end of his wick where it's lighting very faintly to put it out and it sends a wave of shock on whitty's body making him jolt
W: What the hell was that?!
R: I should be asking you that.
W: don't do that again please.
R: did it hurt?
W: No! But it felt like I was being shocked by eels
R: ???
-needless to say, whenever Ruv sees whitty's wick lighting very faintly, you best believe he's gonna put it out and shock whitty again
-of course he makes sure it doesn't get too far or this would actually have some side effects lol
I haven't gotten headcanons in forever, and these are great! You just have lots of cute little things, I really love the shock idea, that's so sweet and cute! 😊
