#perfect marriage revenge#i have faith in you girl but please give us a little satisfaction too ;w;#i think the difference between the usual plot and this though is that monte cristo typically has years offscreen to build themself up#while Yi Joo has a year's worth of future knowledge and zero time to prepare#she has occasional moments of confidence but as soon as anyone pushes back (and they will - they know how to the play this game)#she crumbles. it's realistic but also very frustrating >.<#the Seos meanwhile are great
