i came to check in, like everyone else, that this blog would be active for book 3; and upon seeing that it will be (after you guys, of course, enjoy the update as fans first and foremost before code-diving), i just wanted to say ✨️💝✨️ thank you ✨️💝✨️

knowing how my choices impact my stats makes me feel more empowered and informed as a player, and really ups the gaming experience for me. sometimes, i read certain choices as meaning something different than the author's intention; and sometimes that includes certain choices asking for stat-checks/boosting stats that i didnt connect the dots on. hence, feeling informed >> empowered by knowing the full context and consequences of the decisions im making in-game

but i also have dyslexia and dyscalculia, so actually shifting through code makes my brain hurt. so i usually have to go through guides and triple-check that (1) im still reading on the right line and havent accidentally skipped down a line, and (2) that what im processing is what is actually on the page (eg. im not reading a 1 as a 7, or im not reading a M as an N). and your guys guides are actually the easiest to process guide i think ive ever read-- for any game, ever! which makes me feel accommodated and welcomed in how they are p damn accessible, in addition to the aforemention "informed and empowered" bit lmao

but yeah!! im really glad you guys are still here and plan to make a guide for book 3. take however long you need to do that btw (i mean that both in the Being A Fan First section and the Guide-Making section), i just wanted to let you guys know how much i appreciate you and your hard-polished craftsmanship. i hope i continue to see your guys' guides for every book in the future. but, regardless: ✨️💝✨️ thank you ✨️💝✨️

It's also very good to hear that you feel it's easy to process. Anyone could go through the code themselves to find the outcome of a choice, but we wanted to present that information in a simpler way.
