What’s your opinion on Silverash & Gnosis?

Hi there anon 💕!! Ty for your ask~

As for your question aaa 🤔!! I do hope you don't mind if I ramble a little sbsjs, I enjoy talking about Operators v v much 👉👈...! (Please take caution as I'll be mentioning some minor spoilers from both of their Operator Files and from the story of the 'Break the Ice' event 😯!!)

I'll talk about my thoughts towards SilverAsh first!

(Summer-Pirate SilverAsh says 'hello' to everyone and to you anon!)

SilverAsh is one of my most favourite Operators and he has been for quite a long time svshs!! I love using him in-game and writing for him here on the blog v v much 🥰!

Firstly, I like his design lots aaa; mostly because of the refined-type of attire he wears and his fluffy snow leopard ears and tail 🥺~ Along with that, his EN voice is awesome and I feel it sounds just like his original JP voice omg, his EN voice actor did him lots of justice ✨!!!

Secondly, his skill set is v v cool and I feel that he's super versatile sbsjs 👍!!!

He can be left on his own to defend when equipped with his second skill, or he can output lots of burst damage with his third skill! Along with that, I feel that his 'Eagle Eyes' talent that removes the invisibility of certain enemies is super useful 🤔✨!

I've had my SilverAsh for a long time now and I've invested lots of LMD and resources into him with no regrets, I like to bring him along on Operators often!!

(Here he is aaa! I'm also thinking about putting resources towards the Mastery for his second skill hmm 🤔)

Thirdly, as for his story and character, I find him to be an interesting person that's not as cold-hearted as he may seem svshs!!

The general perception of SilverAsh by those around him is that he's v shrewd, constantly has hidden motive, and is v v prideful perhaps so much so that it's not-so-good 🤔

However, I've always believed that he's able to be a compassionate person! I feel that, considering that he unfortunately had to mature v fast following the death of his parents, he simply had to become a more hardened person 🤔

This means SilverAsh grew up to become v v strong-willed and never lets anything cause him to falter, even when others are expecting him to collapse; however this also caused him to lose his faith in love or warmth svshs 😔 As he states in one of his voicelines, he believes:

"Compassion saves no one on the battlefield."

But even so, it's clear he cares for others if you take a closer look! He shows some warmth towards the Doctor and to those close to him from Kjerag 👉👈 It's just that it's v likely he dislikes being seen as vulnerable so he has troubles when conveying his care 😭 One of Cliffheart's voicelines regarding her brother communicates this rather perfectly:

"My brother sent Matterhorn to look after me, didn't he…? Ugh, why can't he just come out and tell me what he's thinking? It drives me mad."

And also sbsjs, I do want to add in a small SilverAsh relationship headcanon considering that my blog is for x reader content after all lolol ✨!

So fourthly, I feel that SilverAsh would definitely be the kind of person who spoils his s/o a lot 😭💞!!! If you express wanting something, he'll get it for you without a second thought - even if you'd only made the slightest mention about it lololsbjs!!

Okay sgshs, I'll talk about what I think about Gnosis next!

(Gnosis says 'hello' to everyone and to you anon, however he hopes this won't take too much time away from his researching work lolol 😭)

I happen to like Gnosis lots as well sbsjs 👍!! I was v v hyped for the 'Break the Ice' event and had saved up for him! Fortunately, he came home to me with no issue aaa 🥳!!! I haven't got any requests for him yet, however I am hoping to receive some that interest me so I can have the chance to write for him sbsjs sometime 👉👈

Firstly, I like his design svshs 🤔! It's quite simple and perhaps not-so ostentatious, but I think that suits him! And I like the red bits in his hair lots svshs ✨ His EN voice also suits him well and I happen to prefer it over his JP voice aaa...!

(I'm also super hyped for his skin to release to the EN server aaa, he looks v v cool in it ✨😮!!!)

Secondly, I think his skills are super fun aaa!! I love his ability to apply Cold and Freeze to enemies as I think it's v v cool ❄️!!! Maybe his damage output is not as much as other Operators, but I still think his damage amounts and his crowd-control capabilities are super awesome aaa 🥳👍!!

I haven't had my Gnosis for too long, however I've already gladly put a good amount of LMD and resources into him sbsjs ✨ I take him along on Operators often, sometimes in the place of a Caster Operator 🤔!

(Here's my Gnosis sbsjs!! I finally got his trust level to 200% recently which I'm v happy about 🥳~)

Thirdly, in regards to his story and character, though he seems to be generally viewed as a bit of a ill-mannered jerk, I actually feel that he's a rather tragic and sad character svshs 😔

When he was v young, Gnosis and his family were forced to leave their home nation and were treated awful by the people of Kjerag because they accused of being the ones behind the deaths of SilverAsh's parents sbjss so Gnosis unfortunately had a not-so-good childhood to say the least 😔...

And even now, as he's older, most of Kjerag rejects him angrily and there isn't much of a place for him in his own home nation 😭

Considering so, I feel it's v v understandable that Gnosis has become to be extremely apathetic towards just about everything, only caring for his research sbsjs 🤔

He doesn't have even the slightest interest at all in compassion, relationships with others, or such; his voicelines v clearly show his uncaring attitude towards most things:

"SilverAsh's sisters? Yes, I've met them several times... Hm...? What more do you want me to say? I know nothing about those frolicsome, ever-changing creatures, and I certainly am not interested in them."

"The best way you can earn my trust is by showing me your true academic strengths, and it seems you've already realized as much, Doctor. I am not like SilverAsh. I am not interested in deeper emotional exchanges."

"Much like SilverAsh's, your endeavors require the help of countless supporters. However, the more supporters you have, the more you have to worry about. Since you cannot disregard them, you should avoid getting entangled. That is my one and only piece of advice for you, Doctor."

This all makes me rather sad aaa 😭 Unlike SilverAsh, I feel that Gnosis has much less of capacity for warmth because he has never been able to trust or find safe comfort in anyone, so now he shuts his heart away from anything and anyone v v firmly 😔...he simply finds it easier to care about nothing outside the progress of his research sbsjs

But sgshs 😶 before I get too sad I want to mention the small relationship headcanon I thought of for him 👉👈!!!

Fourthly, I imagine that Gnosis would remember everything about what his s/o likes and dislikes svshsv 💕 then, when the time comes for gifts or dates, he'll apply what he's taken note of to ensure whatever he's giving to you is perfect~

As for the relationship between SilverAsh and Gnosis 🤔

They were childhood friends 🥺!! I feel that, even if both of them are much colder than they were when they were children, they're still close friends svshs! They seem to understand one another acutely and have a certain respect for eachother!!

SilverAsh cares for his friend, but again svshs SilverAsh has a funny way of showing people that he cares lololsjks 😭😶 Though it may not seem like it, he's looking out for Gnosis when he sends him to Rhodes Island! It's clear to SilverAsh that: at Rhodes Island Gnosis won't experience the harsh and angry treatment of the people of Kjerag, and Rhodes Island's advanced technology and such will assist him in better progressing his research, which SilverAsh knows is Gnosis' highest priority svshs 🤔!!

And as for Gnosis, SilverAsh seems to be the only thing outside his research that he's willing to dedicate his time and his effort to! I feel that this is because SilverAsh never once blamed the death of his parents on Gnosis and even said that he would've forgiven him had he been responsible...! Along with that, SilverAsh is one of the few people to not abandon Gnosis 😭 So I feel that Gnosis holds SilverAsh as maybe one of his only friends 🤔

I definitely feel that SilverAsh and Gnosis would need similar s/o's: someone who can make them believe in warmth and compassion once again, someone who they can allow themselves to be vulnerable around aaa 😭👉👈

(They both need someone to warm their hearts if you will lolololsjsks 😭💕)

Anywho sgshs!!! Please excuse me, I feel like I may have rambled lots there omg 😶😭...!

I always get rather excited when given the chance to talk on how I feel about certain Operators 👉👈!!! I hope you guys don't mind svshsb

Okay so what’s your opinion on phantom? If you don’t mind me asking.

Hi there anon 💕!!

Aaa omg, my opinion on Phantom, okay ✨!!! I don't mind at all dw! Ty for asking aaa 💞~

(Phantom sends his greetings, and Miss Christine as well sgshs! He's used to the spotlight and he's happy to be here for everyone 💕~)

Phantom is another one of my most favourite Operators omg 🥳!!! Initially I wasn't v interested in him, however as time went on and I came to learn more about him, I grew to love him lots! I've mentioned this before dvdhd, one of the main reasons he became one of my favourites is because he's inspired by the musical 'Phantom of the Opera', which happens to be one of my favourite musicals 👉👈 svshsbs anywho, I really enjoy using him in-game and writing for him here on the blog, lots and lots aaa 🥰!!!

Firstly, I love his design v v much 😭💕!!! His rather elegant and Victorian-esque way of dressing fits with one of my favourite sort of clothing styles (which is formal and expensive suits, with ties and such!) so I love all of the outfits he wears ✨! I also find it v v cute that he sometimes matches with Miss Christine a lil bit, such as how she wears a red bow around her neck and he wears his red tie in his 'Dreambind Castle' skin svshsgs!

I like his lynx ears and small tail sgshs 🥺💕 (he has the features of a Canada Lynx, I've noticed~) and his EN voice is phenomenal, his EN voice actor did him lots of justice!!!

(And I'm v v excited for his live2D skin to release to the EN server aaa 🥳!!! It's super breathtaking and he looks super cool!)

Secondly, in terms his skills set in-game, he's one of my most favourite Operators to use (just after 'Rico sgjshs ✨) as he lots of fun for me! Phantom is extremely flexible and useful, he can do just about everything you'd need a Fast-Redeploy Operator to do 👍! Not to mention that he's a two-in-one with his clone 'The Phantom in the Mirror', which can be retreated and redeployed also!

I've put lots and lots of resources, time, and LMD towards my Phantom v gladly with no regrets ever svshs 🥳!! I bring him almost everywhere I go in-game lolol 👍~

(Here's my Phantom aaa ✨!! I'm currently working on the Mastery 3 for his first skill!)

Thirdly, as for his character agahs!! He's v v compelling; tragic in some ways zghsgs, however with some hope for betterness as well 🤔!

Unfortunately, Phantom has been through v v much aaa... 😭😭 From when he was a child, for lots of years, he was in the control of the Crimson Troupe sbsjs and I can't imagine what they forced him to do or what they manipulated him into doing was any good - to say the least 😔

Considering his past, Phantom is v elusive - he doesn't wish to linger around people or create bonds and such, for quite a long time it seems as if his only close companion was Miss Christine

He often talks about himself in manners such as "there's no need to remember me" and "you shouldn't have to bear any of my burdens", such as here:

"I need not. In times of celebration, there need not be me. Under the midday sun, there need not be shadow."

"They have nothing to gain from remembering me."

"You'd like to hear my real voice? No, you can't. It isn't something you ought to bear..."

I feel that, because of what he's done under the control of the Crimson Troupe, Phantom believes himself to be a person whom people should steer away from, as the unfortunates that follow him will befall them if they don't wvshhs 😔 Fortunately, since joining Rhodes Island, it seems as though he's beginning to accept the care and kindness of others , and shows warmth to others also (such as when he interacts with his fellow Operators or with us, the Doctor 💕)!

Phantom has a lot to atone for, however I feel that before he can do any of that, he must forgive himself first svshs 👉👈! And I believe that if he remains with us and Rhodes Island, he's most definitely on the path towards forgiving himself and such 👍!

I hope that someday he'll be able to forgive himself, and be able to be happy and loved 😭💕 he's been through so much, he deserves to be safe, and also lots of love and happiness!!!

Anywho svshsg, now for a small Phantom relationship headcanon ✨!

Fourthly, I feel that Phantom would like it lots when his s/o wears his clothing svshs 🥺!! He maybe is unsure with physical affection, so having his s/o wrapped him his cloak or wearing one of his jackets his a way for him to stay close to them without actually being physically close 💕! He'd definitely compliment you as well, mentioning how you look wonderful in his clothing svshs 🥰~

That's it, just about all of my thoughts on Phantom svshs ✨!!

What’s your opinion on Shalem?

Hiya there anon 💕!!

Aaa how I feel about Shalem 🤔! I actually love him lots svshs, he's quickly become one of my favourites since he joined me in-game 💕!! I have him E2 with his first skill on M3 currently ✨~

His design is v v cool, his EN voice is awesome also 🥳! And I also like his skills as well, I feel that his first one especially is v useful and I've been bringing him along for lots of Operations because of that!!

(Following bits contain some spoilers regarding Shalem's Operator Files!!)

In terms of his story, I think it's v compelling and complex svhss 😮!! It's interesting how he's clearly trying to run from his past and what happened with the Crimson Troupe almost desperately, in contrast to Phantom who goes after rather the opposite sbsjs 🤔 As Shalem says himself:

"Phantom and I certainly have... our similarities, in what we've been through. Though now he pursues the truth, I only wish to be far removed from it."

Along with that, I do feel a bit sad that he's friendly with those at Rhodes Island but keeps a v firm distance because he doesn't want to burden anyone with the troubles from his past 😔 (he's similar to Phantom is that regard I feel like)!!!

I'm definitely hoping to receive more requests for him so I have the opportunity to write for him svhss 🥺👉👈!! (Definitely please send in all the Shalem requests you guys lololsbjs!)

Like how I feel for Phantom, I think Shalem deserves lots of love after everything he's been through 💕!

I do happen to have a favourite Arknights NPC, yes 👍! A few actually sbsjs!!

Domma from the 'Mansfield Break' event 🩹!!

She's a sort of doctor and mortician, which I find cool ��! I like her design and the lil bits of what we saw from her character both v v much as well aaa 🥺 and I love that she joined us at Rhodes Island after the events of the 'Mansfield Break' event 🥳~

Monch from the 'Break The Ice' event 🗡️!!

I find her relationships with Gnosis and SilverAsh to be quite compelling sgshswj 🤔! As well as her motivations as a character!! Her design is v v pretty too, I love her hair the most I think 🥺💕 (it looks super flowy and soft ahaiajh)!! I like that she's of the Itra race also, as Courier is the only Itra character besides her 😯!

Cecelia from the 'Guide Ahead' event 😇!!

Her entire story, involving her mother being a Sankta and her father being a Sarkaz, is v v interesting to me aaa 😮!!! And she's just super adorable and a v sweet character 🥺💕! (I definitely hope she remains safe at Rhodes Island with Enforcer 👉👈!!)

I also generally happen to have a liking towards lots of the NPCS from the 'Guide Ahead' event ansjebe 🥺👉👈!! As the event meant v v much to me!

Velliv and Lemuen from the 'Guide Ahead' event, for example ✨!! Both have v v pretty designs and characters I find super interesting~

As for Logos dvhshs 🤔!!

I happen to know a lil about him sgsush, through not lots 😯!! I know he's been mentioned by some of Rhodes Islands' Operators and appeared in one of stories of 'Rewinding Breeze', hm!

He's one of Rhodes Islands' Elite Operators, and a Caster! I believe he's a Banshee Sarkaz, which is a rare kind of Sarkaz, which is v v interesting 🤔!!

His design is super awesome, I like his hair and his clothing lots ✨! (This might be odd, however his appearance reminds me of Phantom sbsjs!)

I can most certainly see why he's your favourite NPC anon, omg 💞!!!

Aaa, Arknights has lots and lots of NPCs who have v detailed designs and compelling characters 😯!! I feel that, because of their cool appearances, many of the NPCs could definitely be mistaken for Operators wjisjss ✨!!!

I definitely hope Hypergryph will be showing more appreciation to Arknights' NPCs in the future 🥺!! Perhaps creating more NPCs into Operators aaa! It's clear lots of careful thought and hardwork went into creating many of them, so it would be such a waste for them to never appear again shsjshs 😭!

Grilled Flavour Biscuits for Jessica

You follow Dr. Exe with your hands behind your back, keeping your small gift for Jessica hidden. You know you’ve reached your destination once you can hear the muffled sound of rhythmic gunshots - Rhodes Island’s specialized shooting range.

Once Dr. Exe leads you inside, you look through the panes of bulletproof glass separating the rest of the room from the gun range; Jessica is alone in the gun range, practicing her shooting as expected. Dr. Exe directs you an encouraging smile from over their shoulder before they leave the two of you alone.

You look back towards the glass, however before you can approach it and knock to attract Jessica’s attention, you discover that she’s already noticed you and is staring with curious eyes. When you lock gazes, the Sniper Operator jolts a little and immediately averts her eyes to the floor - they remain stuck to the floor even while she puts down her gun, removes her Originium-powered shooting earmuffs, and exits from the gun range to join you.

Only when she’s approaching you does Jessica timidly lift her head, “H-Hi!!” She sends you a small wave, her hand then awkwardly hovers before it goes to fidget with her hair, “I-Is there something you need help with? Oh, did you come here to do some shooting too? I can leave, i-if you want-” You shake your head vehemently, quickly revealing your gift and holding it out to her before she can turn away to leave the shooting range. It’s a package of special biscuits, the label reading ‘Grilled Flavour Biscuits’.

“Huh?” The Feline perks up, eyebrows raising and lips falling agape. Almost comically slowly, as if she expects the package of biscuits to explode, she takes it from you and holds it with both hands. “This is a pack of cookies from Closure’s store...i-is it for me? Really?”

Smiling - your cheeks tinted slightly with pink and your eyes glimmering with a sparkle - you nod, “A gift from me to you, Jessica.” and, you lift your hand to place it just between her Feline ears then pat softly, “This is part of your gift too.”

The Sniper Operator goes still; incredulous, her widened eyes shift between the biscuit package, your sincere face, and the hand you’re gently petting the top of her head with. Her expression begins to tremble, however she furrows her eyebrows together and presses her lips into a thin line in attempt to halt it. When you notice, your eyes grow concerned and you pause your head-patting, “Jessica? Are you okay-” “Uuah…sorry, I’m sorry!” As the tears inevitably begin to fill her eyes, Jessica plunges toward you, hiding her flustered and crying face into your shoulder. “I-It’s just…this is such a nice gift, a-and I’m just so happy you thought of me…t-thank you!”

Chiming with a light laugh, you resume your petting of her head and allow her to hold on to you tightly. Sniffling, she tears open the package of biscuits and shoves one into her mouth in hopes to muffle her crying; though her voice is now a little unclear thanks to the food she’s chewing, Jessica manages to speak, “Just give me a second…t-to eat the biscuits and cry it all out…thank you so much…”
