I LOVE seeing live music. It's exciting to be a part of the experience; having the band or artist perform in front of you; having their fans cheering all around you... it can be euphoric. I really try to see all my favourite acts at least once. There are, however, certain artists that I'll put the extra effort into trying to see everytime they tour locally. I will always try to see Lights, Dream Wife, The Beaches, and of course SOFI TUKKER. So when I saw that SOFI TUKKER were going on tour to support their latest album, Wet Tennis, I was thrilled. Then disappointed. Like many of their Canadian fans, seeing the original tour date for Detroit was set of June 2nd, I assumed that I'd have to miss them this time around. Border restrictions where still in place for many of us so the 20 minute journey across the border to our "local" venue wasn't going to be an option. Still, I wished them the best on the tour and hoped it would be successful enough to bring them back this way soon. Then the tour, at least the Detroit date, was postponed and rescheduled...
