When I did the survey, I asked people about the concepts that they would like to be able to read in this fandom. I went through all the answers and classified them by categories. When it made more sense, I separated some answers in various lines. The "contexts" section is supposed to be more precise ideas than the "general" category but to be quite honest, both categories are similar.

coming from the f1rpf fandom i think i was very spoiled with the mass of fics that exist and the length of some of them and that what i am kind of missing i loove a good slowburn or long fics general and motogp doesn‘t have a lot of those (i know very big coming from someone that doesn‘t write themselfes) i just love being able to explore the relationships in fics very thorough (be it romantic or platonic) like yes give me the pining, the weird flirting attemts, the award first dates (or morning after), the reactions of friends/family to them, give me all of that and more imagine something like „everything changes“ (i hope you are familiar it is basically a f1 fic that outlived both drivers careers and its 5mio words long) of course it doesn‘t have to be in that extent but like going through their entire carrers (together and apart) and seeing how the relationship changes (would work really well with rozquez or pedronzo but also with so many others)

I feel like the writers don’t write about it and if they wrote it is left unfinished -and this is not a dig for them but it is just an observation-, also this one is just for me but as someone who LOVES angst and hurt/no comfort I realised there isn’t a lot of hurt/no comfort but this is only me who loves to cry over fics 😂

Oh i like silly fics too, something light and funny and a bit crack is always welcomed! Also text fics, they're great (forgot to put them in the tropes i like, so here). A silly little text fic with a riders group chat could be very funny. Also like i mentioned before, amnesia fics and injury/feelings revelation fics work so well for motogp rpf, id love to see more.

UH. Well first one is very basic, the more rosquez reconciliation fics there are, the more i will be happy lol. It would be very interesting also to see more Vale dealing with his internalized homophobia (which he definitely has) and the crippling fear he has when it comes to Marc (basically lets get Vale to therapy lmao), and a bit more of how Marc was conflicted with his desire to be with his idol and the desire to be him, and also his feelings after all the injuries and the horrible honda year, like the conflict again with the desire to win and the need to be cared for (put him in therapy too lol). So like, Rosquez reconciliation where they still are two little shits (affectionate) but older and wiser (author sended them to therapy holding them at gunpoint).

but also if you wanted to read more into them you could talk about how both are complete outcasts to their people and able to really truly find some sort kinship with eachother. like mokou was a human and through her immortality (and the murder she commited to achieve it) shes become fully removed from mortals, living as a hermit because shes not fully able to relate to their transient lives anymore. and similarily kaguya is a lunarian, but she was raised among humans AND their impurity and transience, so while she was also never truly human there was always a rift between her true people and herself, even with eirin id believe. becoming immortal only widened that rift. so like in a way i think mokou and kaguya kind of can relate to each other through not only perfect immortality but also the feeling of perpetually being out of place. and since mokous a weirdo and kaguyas never direct, they cant communicate it well so they just beat each other up because Hey letting loose through violence is a form of intimacy too right? also i think the release mokou offers to kaguya is extra important to her since shes lived so long in hiding as a lunar convict and just getting to let loose and indulge in violence as a break from being the Hidden Away Princess must be fun for her…. its also i think why shes more openly endeared towards mokou

You've probably explained it before because I remember rbing back and forth about it on one of my other accounts, but I've long since forgotten. Out of curiosity, is it okay for me to ask why you wouldn't classify Cutthroat as a yandere?

I don't think I've explained it before? Or if I have, I don't remember.

Of course, I'm not the abritrer of all things, but I personally don't think Cutthroat actually fits the bill as a yandere. I understand the similarities and why he appeals to yandere fans - and of course I have no issue with that, or having him mentioned in correlation to that, I just personally don't think that term is a good fit for him.

Of course I have to acknowledge my bias here that it's not my personal preference to use the term yandere in general. In my personal experience, it was like... One of those terms that I gave a lot of importance to when I was aged 12 and discovering anime, but nowadays using it as part of my regular vocabulary would feel embarrassing. It's a completely personal hang up, I don't think there's an age limit for using that word, that's just how it presents itself to me with my own experience. So I have a very neutral view of the word yandere: I may interest myself in its history, it's baseline definition(s), its iconic characters, etc., but I'm not interacting with people who care about yandere characters so I don't know what is generally accepted, where the lines are drawn, etc., in that fandom. Does that make sense? I'm looking at it from a "I know it but I'm not in the fandom" point of view.

The way I understand and view yandere characters is the baseline "this character presents as sweet and affective to their person of interest, but plot twist! They're a sicko [...]!" I see how Cutthroat shares traits with that, with his weirdly cutesy attitude in contrast to the violence exhibited in Episode 9, and his attachment to Swindler the entire way through. But the thing with Cutthroat that makes him not a yandere in my opinion is the complete lack of plot twist.

Of course there's the tiniest plot twist when it turns out oh, he's really doing it. But what I mean is that Cutthroat is introduced as a serial killer. That is even his name in the original dub. He kills and exhibits violence the entire way through. Moreover, there's no "complete switch in personality" normally exhibited by yandere characters: Cutthroat isn't being all sweet and making cookies for Swindler, only to reveal he can also be completely violent; he's ALWAYS a weirdo. He's ALWAYS the way that he is. He's a little childish and creepy from Episodes 1 through 8 and he continues to behave childishly and of course creepily in Episode 9.

Cutthroat, to me, isn't a yandere character. He's a serial killer character.

I don't know exactly what his deal is... But that's just who he is, and it's pretty plain. I don't think I'm giving a sufficiently thorough explanation of it, but to me he's missing the base of what makes a yandere a yandere. He may have traits in common with them, but he doesn't have the yandere personality, nor the yandere intent. He's just a killer waiting for the right moment to kill his prey. Like the man is a literal predator, not a yandere archetype.

Again I understand that he fits multiple key points that are likely to be attractive to fans of yandere archetypes. (Like literally the intense lover who's a violent murderer is a popular trait of the yandere, even if not the only one.) And for tagging purposes I understand how it makes sense to just put him in that category, especially if you're a fan of the yandere archetype and are going to expand on that in your writing. But if you ask me to cite a character who's a yandere I won't say Cutthroat. I guess I tend to mention it because I wonder if anyone else understands my very specific vision of "having dabbled in a little bit of yandere in the past".

One last aspect is that the yandere archetype is very much linked to women characters. In my opinion for a man character to be considered a yandere he would need to fit the bill very well. I genuinely think its history as a trope for women is way too important to be ignored. I don't think an untrustworthy and violent serial killer guy deserves to be called a yandere too easily because there are many interesting reasons why that archetype was created for girls. Etc. etc.

Guts and Roses

Plot: Jesse hired you to clean up crime scenes. This time you were stuck cleaning up boob implants and stomach bile after a gruesome murder. All was well, you never crossed paths with him and didn’t mind it. That is when he accidentally forgot something important lodged into the girls torso leading to a unexpected visit from the man himself. (This was supposed to be practice for suspense soooo if it’s ass I apologize)

Warnings: Gore/Cursing/Implied Necro (nothing happens lmao)

It started with good intentions. You were a forensic anthropologist/medical examiner for the Florida PD, truly the best of the best. To bad all that knowledge and expertise was wasted. The whole system was corrupt. From dirty cops to crook politicians there was no such thing as reform. The entire system was fucked. Sometimes you’d get bodies without organs despite them not being organ donors. So many people came through and cases piled up. You felt more like a mortician than a forensic anthropologist. It made you feel horrible for the victims but after a few years you just let it pass you.

To make some extra cash on the side you put your services up for hire on the deep web. At first you were sure you were gonna get caught by the FBI but it seemed like a lot of sickos in Florida needed someone to clean their mess. They’d do their business, call you in, you’d take pictures for some blackmail, then do your job. You carefully instructed that they leave the cash in a plastic bag. The price varied on a few things. The floors material, the square feet, severity of stains, chemical cleaning cost, etc. were all factored into the final price. She made a good 5 grand off one easy clean up. A pretty good gig although certainly nausea inducing for the faint of heart.

This Jesse guy was no different than the rest of them. A rich weirdo with mommy issues who had a knack for snuff films. Nothing new. Sometimes you thought about watching one of the films just to see what all the talk was about. You got what was left of some bodies but you don’t really get the full picture from a crime scene or a cold corpse. There was a morbid curiosity. Ever since you’ve taken jobs for him you’ve wanted to see it. See him in action. You wondered if he got off to it. If he had a ritual, what his motives were. Along with playing music you could think about the crazed Chromeskull to help past the time. What a lame name. Surely the guy wasn’t that scary with a stupid name like that.

After scrubbing the blood splatter with your own secret mix you let it sit for a bit and get to work on the floor. First you dispose of all the guts, chunks of flesh, and silicon implants into a acid mix. Then you move onto mopping up the blood and other bodily fluids released by the body. She was completely torn apart. Her rib cage exposed as if the Jesse guy was looking for something inside her. Admittedly you were kinda grossed out. You much rather worked for the Collector. At least he had a bit of interesting presentation. This Chromeskull guy was just a fucking monster. The girl must’ve done something to piss him off if he got this mad.

After staring you get out some plastic wrap and cover the bathroom in it. After that you start cutting her limbs one by one and placing them in your special acid mix. One score was the bitches jewelry. Sick looks like Chromefuck left a lil tip. If this shit was real you could totally pawn it after her case turned cold.

You were just about to decapitate her when you heard the doorknob jiggle. You always locked the doors behind you, it was a safety precaution. You didn’t want to have to clean up another body for free. At first you just ignored it. Maybe the person would go away when they figured out no one was here. Suddenly a fury of hard knocks rammed upon the thin door. You get up. Whoever was trying to get inside sure as hell weren’t the friendly type. You think to grab your gun but your dumbass left it on the counter outside. All you had was a bone saw, and by the sound of it you were gonna need a tank.

After a serious of loud thumps the rickety chain snapped sealing your fate. You huddle into the bathtub and slide the shower curtain to conceal you. Whoever he was he was strong enough to open the door but oddly stealthy enough to muffle his steps because after the chain snapped and the door flung open you didn’t hear shit. For a moment you thought you were in the clear, that whatever they wanted they got and left. You start to slowly stand up before a sound makes your knees buckle in place. The same pounding from before was right outside the door. You freeze. Your entire body wanted to flee but there was nowhere to go. The door flings open like it was a piece of paper. On the other side of the curtain you heard shallow breaths. Whoever it was was pissed. For a second there was silence. It felt like you had held your breath for what seemed like a eternity before you heard the grossest sounds ever. It was the sound of flesh being strained and bothered with. Meat and congealed bodily fluids churning around echoed off the walls. You wanted to gag. Was he...was he fucking it?

All of a sudden the sounds came to a abrupt stop. You watch in pure horror as he tears the shower curtain asunder. A gloved hand grabs at your crinkly clean up suit and you instinctively swipe at it with your bone saw. Lucky for him in your fear ridden haze you miss. “Gah! What the fuck do you want?!?” You shriek pointing the blade at the mask. Definitely believed the hype around this guy he was fucking terrifying. For a moment he just stared at you, possibly thinking if he should kill you for the stunt you just pulled. To your surprise he recoiled and calmly began to sign.

‘I thought you’d be finished. It’s been 3 hours’

Before you can stop yourself you scoff. “I don’t rush you when you’re making pulled pork.” When you noticed what you said you felt the color leave your body. Everyone always said your attitude would one day get the best of you. Now you were about to become the star of a snuff film lucky you. Instead of slamming your face into the tiles until it resembled strawberry purée his shoulders raised up and down...he was laughing.

‘Touché, well doll I’m looking for something. The stupid cunt swallowed it.’

Did you even want to know the gruesome details? Yes, but you didn’t need this sicko thinking you admired him. You were merely intrigued. Anyone would be even just a little. Or at least that’s what you told yourself. “Want me to...help?” You treaded carefully. You didn’t need him getting angry that a woman wanted to help. Some men saw it as pity and got all pissy and acted like they were Alpha males. He shrugs. It seemed like metal head didn’t mind a lady getting down and dirty. Good cuz it was your fucking job.

‘Knock yourself out Princess.’

You step out from the safety of the tub and dig into the mush of the torso. You can feel him looming over you. Cold eyes boring into your skin as you searched in silence. It hit you.

“What am I looking for exactly?” You ask turning to him.

‘A sim card, the stupid bitch swallowed it thinking I’d spare her or something.’

“Clearly her plan didn’t work out.” You let out a wry laugh. That wasn’t funny. Oh god why were you comfortable saying weird shit around this guy. You kept focus on finding the little black card. It was lodged in a piece of her small intestine that he had missed during his rampage. When you turn to announce your findings he’s crouched down in front of you. “I...I got your sim c-card...” you try and mask the fear in your voice but failed. Why was he so close? How’d he keep moving so silently? You tense up as he slowly signs to you.

‘I wanna see you without the mask.’

Your heart sunk but a stupid smile was on your face. Is that all? The sicko just wanted to see her face? But why? You’d only worked a few jobs for him. This was the first time you’d met face to face. Was he joking?

‘But not now. I’ll let you get back to work.’ He stood and dusted himself off. When he outstretched a gloved hand you thought he was just waiting for you to hand over his precious SIM card so you did just that. With like zero effort he hoisted you up to your feet. He hands you a card and takes his property before leaving you alone in the penthouse. You read the card and furrow your brow. On the back there was a message. When you read it aloud it made your skin crawl.

It's a strange defense as it is attacking the crap out of people, it's pretending people act like it's okay here n like the devil is okay. It's very strange. It doesn't make sense to hold up. The devil really is supposed to be something disturbing n blasphemous, ie highly degrading n defaming of people n what people are. It's trying to be that n be okay as that here in devil land in order to be something as opposed to nothing at all. So that is what the stuff is here: offensive n etc disguised as okay. People are supposed to be called "mentally ill" as a matter of fact in medical talk of what's happening w a person n it's not supposed to really be any talk other than that about someone being upset, disturbed n hearing voices or having other emotional upset here that surfaces however it does n the medical responders n workers call it "mental illness." People being considered dumb, people being poor, these things are just a part of life here. Homelessness pretty much also. It's not a bad thing that is disturbing here n alarming here, but this is really what it is. It is disturbing n really bad. It's an attack of people but its disguised as supposed to make sense the people don't have money or need to get a job etc. They could try to get disability pay. But it's supposed to be not an attack n not something alarming that should be stopped. It's something that can happen to a person if they lose their jobs or if they are put out of somewhere, if they have no money. It's not a problem to address n stop like how environmentalists address or put attention to pollution, etc. It's very insane here. It's very disturbing. Very weird people are to be expected to support it or act like it's okay. It's extremely bizarre. It is actually sicko, really sick. But it's disguised what stuff is, stuff is disguised as good. It's supposed to be good to seek for there to be More Jobs here. It's supposed to be good for someone to get a job. It's supposed to be good for people to help someone w mental illness by trying to control them n etc n put them in the hospital. The people are really crazy n insane. It's not something to take medicine for, what they are doing, or what they consider mental illness. I don't agree its real, of course.
