Chishiya X Reader | How You Two Got Close

A/N: It is quite longer than I expected it to be but it is a very detailed one. Hope you like it! And thanks so much for your support as always! I genuinely appreciate it! <3

Let's be honest he was not the one to catch feelings for someone in Borderland. And he was using you for his leverage only. You were smart, and strong, and had already gained Anugi's trust.

And from your POV, you were clearly aware of the situation and always acted a little dumb and extra sweet. You knew what Chishiya was doing and that he would drop you in a second when it comes to his life so you thought it'd be better if you play the player and you were doing ALL THIS just to gain his trust.

You two were just fools. NO, he was not using you, this was just some subconscious way of him to make sure that you last longer at the beach so that you were around him more. And NO you were not doing all of those things to trick him you just wanted to be around him.

Living in the borderlands has made both of your heads so dense that you were not in touch with your emotions anymore!

And slowly you two started hanging out alone more often. It was nothing romantic but it's just that you two had to discuss "something" or the other. You'd find excuses to talk and if someone was close enough to see it all from a third-person perspective it was very clear what was going on but for you two to admit that SOMETHING was going on.. was a big no.

Women would frequently ask you about Chishiya and what is he like. I mean you don't blame them he was GOOD LOOKING, we need to give him that and on top of that, he had this mysterious demeanor that women usually like. But you've seen his dumb side too. Like when you and Kuina jump scared him for fun or when he tripped on his own foot once. He is a human after all.

Every time someone asks you about him, you usually end up thinking about him more. Little did you know that the same was the case with him.

He was not someone who'd talk to a lot of people but won't even ignore them since they might be of some use to him at some point in time and a simple 5-minute chat never hurt anyone. Ever since he started hanging out with you more than 7 out of 10 times, people would approach him to ask about you.

Which was kind of annoying because why would anyone ask HIM about you, you were right there. But then again he understood that you might just intimidate an average insecure person because you were too good for anyone who was just... average.

He sometimes wondered if you were out of his league too. There was no point in making any move on you because 1. You were smart enough to know that this was not some romance novel shit going on so this was the last thing you'd want 2. He would have no chance with you in the real world let alone here, he understood that he might manipulate you but it is not what real trust and a relationship are 3. He didn't want to drag you into his shit show of a life here as well as in the real world because of the things that he did there you'd never approve of them.

Niragi, on the other hand, was ONTO YOU he would not leave a chance to brush past you, give you his creepy tongue flick, or get close to you. Chishiya saw all that and you did too. "Ignorance was bliss," you thought to yourself.

But Chishiya knew that Niragi was not someone to leave unattended and he trusted Aguni with him but still he was very aware of each detail when you were in the same room with Niragi.

This one time you were with Kuina by the pool and not a lot of people were there day Niragi saw his chance and sat down right next to you. This boiled your blood. You already hated the guy's vibe and how dare he invade your personal space.

"Oh come on doll, why are you so tensed up you just won a game tonight right? It's time to have some fun wouldn't you say?" he said as he was reaching out for your arm. You stood up and started walking back to your room, Kuina followed.

"What's the matter? I'm not that bad you know." He said as he took your arm forcefully and would NOT let go.

"Well, when you already have had better, why would anyone go searching in the dumpsters." Chishiya arrived out of nowhere and stood beside you as you still try to fight your way out of that guy's hand.

"You" the word spilled from Niragi's mouth with so much hatred that it ran a chill down your spine. You knew if they were not stopped it won't end well. "Well yea ME. I won as always." Chishiya replied and started coming closer to you. The next few seconds were a blur to you. As he pulled you in a kiss while still maintaining eye contact with Niragi.

It was slow and soft and as you two separated you still had the woody scent of his. His eyes then landed on your lips. It was clear he was trying his best to take them off but couldn't and with a deep sigh he looked into your eyes that were already looking into his sharp ones.

You could feel his chest rising uneasily since there was no space left between you two and his hand was resting on the small of your back from where he pulled you in.

You looked back at Kuina in surprise who mirrored your expressions and then saw Aguni in the back who was just as surprised as you but he went back to his poker face and asked Niragi to stand back.

Chishiya took your hand and started walking back to your room. Kuina followed again without saying anything. The way to your room was silent and felt so long. Kuina parted ways to her room with a silent nod and you two responded in the same silent way.

Now it was just you two. The tension was sooo thick that it was hard for you to breathe silently. As your room came, which you shared with others too since you were not an executive officially, you didn't get a seperate room yet. He kept walking with your hand in his and stopped outside his room.

You were too confused and curious to ask anything. He opened and let you both in STILL holding your hand and as you closed the door behind you pushed were against the door...
