Hey llama, I was thinking about the p&p servant au, and I was wondering how would mc react to all of the guys attending a party she's serving at? Would it upset her to see Sans being haughty with other humans?

HOHOHOHO... I would assume at this point she's not yet one of Skull's servants. She belongs to someone else, someone who doesn't appreciate her like they do.

Sans: As much as he wants to immediately seek her out and take up all of her time, to talk to only her... he understands that it's a very busy party, and she's working. He steals her for a little bit of polite conversation, but he doesn't trap her- he doesn't want her to get in trouble. He's very kind to her, as he always is... admiring her from afar, catching her in quiet corners whenever he can, and openly scowling at anyone who comments about her. She enjoys finding ways to sneak a few hushed words with him in passing, and she loves the genuine delight on his face when he sees her in the crowd.

Would she be upset by Sans being haughty? No, not at all. Sans is only like that with people of his station or higher, never with servants. For her, there's honestly something really enjoyable about watching Sans be shitty to the kinds of people who are often the cruellest to her. He gets to say and do the things she wishes she could.

Red: She loves when Red shows up. All the staff do. Even before she knew him personally, she enjoyed when he appeared at events- Red is the life of the party, and often ends up causing some kind of scene that becomes talk of the town. Excessive drinking, ruinously beating someone at cards, pitting two idiots against each other until they get into a fight... all the servants knew that if Red was there, it was going to be a delightfully gossip-filled night in the staff quarters. Especially since Red was absolutely the type to woo any of the particularly eye-catching servants.

She likes him even more after meeting him. Because Red is excellent at distracting the other party members- most importantly, he distracts the host, usually immediately after shooting her a wink. Without her employer breathing down her neck she can get some rest in the middle of an otherwise completely action-packed night.

Skull: If Skull showed up to a party, that's a huge win for the host, and a ridiculous amount of social clout for them. So if Skull appears at the house, and expresses any open interest in Mc (which of course he will)... her employer will basically command her to be Lord Skull's personal entertainer for the evening. "Do whatever is necessary to keep our guest happy. Understand?"

If Red is there to third wheel and keep the conversations going, Mc and Skull would both probably actually have a lot of fun. Red knows his friend very well, and he can quickly and easily 'translate' for him to keep her engaged and relaxed. She likes getting to chat and eat, and Skull is just absolutely delighted that she's sat close enough for him to see her eyes.

If, for some reason, Red isn't there... it might be a bit more awkward. Skull will follow her around like an overly affectionate cat, but he gets overcome with shyness the moment she tries to start anything resembling a conversation. She'd still enjoy it, though- sitting with a silent guy who likes to stare still beats working.

Looking back at Girl Meets World, it will forever irritate me especially for how they handled/treated Angela. Oh this show really hated black women because how do you not only 1.) describe her, one of (correct me if I'm wrong) only few black and MAIN characters of the og show, as a "concept" 2.) have characters show obvious disgust at the small mention of her name 3.) depict her as a homewrecker for a new relationship that, really, shouldn't have ever happened 4.) have her old friends treat her like dirt and her old lover like she is the root of his problems, when there was nothing but positive love there 5.) reuse all the concepts from said previous love story just to elevate the new ship with a yte woman and 6.) compare her to Hurricane Katrina, one of the deadliest hurricanes that caused significant numbers of death, harm, misplacement, and trauma to people, largely of whom were black? Mind you, all these points I mentioned were toward the only main black character of the OG show before the spinoff, and the only, from what I can remember, black female character of the spinoff who didn't even stay long. Not even getting into the racist drama with some of the members on set, but you cannot look me in the eye and tell me that the way the show handled Angela, her story, and her relationship with the other characters + Shawn wasn't fucking disrespectful, you can't because I won't believe you.

HEYYYYYYOOOOO!

The only thing I’m really looking forward to from the live action is being able to gossip about it with my mutuals. I don’t really have any other opinion, I mean… it looks cool! (Sokkas hair & zukos scar bother me but ehhhh what can I do?) But I’m an animation junky, I love my anime and my cartoons (bobs burgers beloved) so I don't particularly care for the “real people actors” taking over my cartoons but I’m totally chill about it honestly.

I will ABSOLUTELY be watching it and probably will form a more solid opinion after I actually watch the show.

Murad Rashid would make Robert watch Cricket for six hours though, if Tahir ever committed of the mortifying ordeal of bringing his partner home. And Murad is actually the cheery one of the two parents (Tahir is so much like his mother Nur) that it would actually be a great bonding experience. Also means that Tahir has now been afflicted with the curse of MORE sport in his life.

one thing about Destiel Putin Election night that doesn't really get mentioned is that if you weren't watching spn 15x18 live and only tuned in when unfounded putin resignation allegations were flying and canon destiel was trending on twitter, you missed both the slow build of absurdity and the initial flat-out radio silence when the episode ended

like. i was staring at my tv for a solid 2 minutes before i managed to pull up tumblr and check if i had just hallucinated The Confession, and there was a solid 5 minutes where everyone was just reeling and, idk, calling their irl besties to break the news or staring blankly at a wall processing The Implications before the "oh my god they really Did That" posts started hitting my dash from people who had already been watching and liveblogging the episode. literally everyone was just so gobsmacked that there was like 15-20 minutes post-episode were only a couple of "oh my god they just made destiel canon IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2020" circulating, and then at about the 30 minute mark everyone recovered enough for the entire internet to absolutely erupt into chaos

i'm not kidding when i say that looking back at the chaos of that night, the cherry on top of that indescribable psychic-damage, fever-dream, shrimp emotions unlocked night was the 20 minutes of calm before the storm where everyone was still too shocked to even react even though the impact had already hit, and none of us knew how quickly things were going to spiral out of control. and i'm sorry but if you tuned in halfway through the night when you heard about the ongoing madness, there is something fundamentally impossible to accurately convey missing from your experience

1. warm warm warm an older era of f1 fandom and 2010 era f1 so much nostalgia. i regret we never got to finish our season re-watch alllll the time. me at 3pm every few weeks i wish we were watching old races.

2. i have said it before and will say it again: tenderest writing on this side of the planet like. it's real and it stings and comforts and you truly seem to just get at the little fleshy core of whatever pairing you end up posting.

3. Lewis Numero Unooooo. i love how we are so down bad about him and have metaphorical and probably actual knives for him. and yet we are always trying to reasonable about this stupid sport and trying so hard to be rational around a love that isn't and can't be rational.
