UTAU Spotlight : Piggy
Piggy’s voice and official art are by Bu-ta. I find her very versatile in the sense of genre, but she works best in pop. She is a bi pitch VCV voicebank.
She doesn’t have a set personality, but she is into fashion. The only official detail is the tattoo on her arm. The owner encourages customizing her as much as you like.
Her design’s all seem to have inspirations from 90s/Ane gyaru and western pop idols.
In her original artwork she has pink hair that fades into yellow. I think her clothes are inspired by the 80s/90s
The “first design” also has pink hair that fades to yellow. I think her look takes after and vkei a bit. Her shoes give a nod to early vocatau culture with the keyboard effect along the bottom.
Piggy’s alternate design is a lot more simple, but it works really well imo. She wears platform heels with high waisted jeans and a fluffy coat with cut outs. And of course the pink hair that fades to yellow.
My Opinion: I love Piggy! Her designs and connection to fashion were what originally drew me in, but then I fell for the voice. You can hear a little of the the engine sound in her vb. But I like it like that. The hint of robotic sound reminds me of the feeling of old utau ballads.
