He sees the gazillion school of Finneon that day and still he points it out like YOOOO GUYS CHECK THAT OUT (<- Kanto guy that has never seen Pokemon outside of his region is marvelled at the world). They just keep gushing/infodumping to each other about the Water mons they see while S!3v3n is just walking behind them in a Silent Emo Way(tm) because he's so cool /JJJJJ

... And maybe...

They spot a few Luvdisc swimming by and she taps Steven's shoulder while pointing at them and saying “Aw look, aren't those cute! They look like hearts ♪”

And Mike goes Nerd Mode(tm) and he's like “Those are Luvdisc! It's said that couples meeting this Pokémon are blessed with a loving relationship!” while looking at his brother with a Big Bastard smile AHAHAHAJHD (<- he knows)

Cue to at the end of their visit, she visits the gift shop and then gifts Steven a Luvdisc plushie she bought for him. He silently takes it while his other hand is on his pocket, closed tightly around a Luvdisc keychain he got her but can't really bring himself to give it to her 😔💥
