The days and nights for the Crew and Cast are enough to push anyone to the dark side, but they power through to give us all a near-holoprojection across the silverscreen back to a long time ago, where nostalgia and new hopes empower generation after generation. To the #ArtDepartment namely the #Props #SetBuilders #Carpenters without whom we wouldn’t have a Bespin’s hope in hell of ever seeing what was in #GeorgeLucas ‘ head! Think of any planet, any spaceport or spaceship you’ve ever seen and experienced, it’s because of them our imaginations can run and fly riot around the ever expanding universe of #StarWars. Don’t ever lie and say you haven’t had a lightsaber duel in your PJs with an umbrella, or had a binary sunset showdown with a good blaster at your side. I bow to thee viewfinders and glass-troopers of the #CameraDepartment for they make a piece of junk look goooood! The #DoP #CamerasOperators #FocusPullers #1stACs #2ndACs #Grips #Riggers so so many eyes and great minds that make light bend in to our memories through the lens and see worlds beyond our current reach. Of light and electricity, raise your light swords to the #Gaffers #Sparks #Technicians #BestBoys for they lighten the load, stand tall in grand humour and shine brightly even in the deepest darkest depths of space, the #LightingDepartment emboldens the Camera Crew as they all endeavour to keep pace with any pod-racer worth their salt or spice! An audible call out to the magicians of the microphones: the #SoundDepartment #BoomOperator #SoundRecordists who have to hide wires, dead cats and blimps from our unsuspecting eyes, there isn’t a playlist out there that has been smuggled out to the delights of Cast and Crew alike. They’ll keep your voice crisp and super Earl Jones than Stewie Griffin. Now, without the #VFXDepartment ##DataWranglers encapsulating Star Warsian world’s, creatures and droids yet to be seen.
