Hello Vatreni fans! 🇭🇷 I fell in love with Luka in the 2018 World Cup ⚽️ and it was a joy to see him snag another medal for our Hrvatska. I cried so many tears at work knowing he wouldn't be able to advance to the finals and have a chance to win a WC on the anniversary of his granddad's death. My heart was broken, but I've never felt more proud to be Croatian than these last few weeks. Hope you enjoy my lil' tribute to the best human on and off the pitch. 🐐 🔟
When you think about hating on croatian players just remember the fact that Croatia is one of the smallest nations in world. Brazil literally has more footballers than the entire population of Croatia. Croatia won a second place in world cup 2018 and is fighting for third place in world cup 2022, meanwhile way bigger countries are out of the world cup. But most important of all is the fact that Croatia became a country in 1991, but participated in 6 world cups. Thank you very much.
Luka Modrić and the standout goalkeeper of the World Cup, Dominik Livaković!
Thank you for this request @gvardiol! I apologize it's late in coming (I was recovering from a nasty illness). But I was sooo happy to make this. One of my fave things is seeing dad!Luka and he was so very proud of our little (big) goalkeeper. I hope you like it too @vatreniworld 🇭🇷
Side note// I didn't know a lot about Luka's Real Madrid history, so I also made a helpful visual spreadsheet for myself (that expanded into other Luka infos) and figured, why not share it? ➡️ View here!
