Katie and Will have been enjoying their Van Life adventures throughout this past year! They have traveled from Tennessee to Oregon to Alaska and more. They love hiking, skiing, white water kayaking, mountain biking, and are always adventuring to new places.

“Epic three day trifecta whitewater kayaking, backcountry touring, and mountain biking! Started with a sunny one day trip on Westwater Canyon of the Colorado river (17 miles class 3/4). Then we drove up and spent the night at geyser pass in the La Sals to get ready for an alpine start for Mt. Tukuhnikivatz with the goal of climbing the north ridge and descending the north face. Was a beautiful morning seeing the outlines of the mountains as the sun comes up. Human and mountain conditions started changing as we got higher up the ridge and we decided to turn around before the last summit push. We got some great turns in on our way back and the weather parted giving a clear view of the range. Found a sweet spot up the canyon for the night from capt. Ahab and got in a classic MtB ride the next day. Always a great time with @guate_max glad that we could pull the trifecta off!”

Aujourd’hui nous avons fait l’acquisition d’un Chevrolet Express de 2002 avec 146.000 km au compteur. C’est un van surélevé avec un panneau solaire de 310W sur le toit et il a été partiellement isolé à l’intérieur par un des anciens propriétaire. Nous comptons le transformer en camper-van pour pouvoir traverser le Canada en partant de Montréal jusqu’à Vancouver en faisant une escale dans le Nord pour voir des aurores boréales, puis redescendre par Seattle et traverser les USA.
