General Valentina Headcannons (Saw X)

Currently planning the "Valentina lives and becomes an apprentice" AU I've been wanting to write so consider this a precursor to that! (I wasn't kidding when I said I had many headcannons about her so enjoy the ramblings of a mad man <3)

Her full name is Valentina Rosa Hernández

She was 32 years old during the events of Saw X.

This makes her younger than Cecilia & Mateo and older than Diego and Gabriella

Valentina’s birthday is on the 27th of July (thus making her star sign Leo)

Let’s those close to her call her Val for short.

Is still trying to put an exact label on her sexuality but knows for a fact she isn’t straight

Valentina struggles to fully trust and open up to people as she’s been hurt by many throughout her life; she often uses her feisty, sarcastic personality as a shield. Though if you manage to break through this prickly facade, you will find a loyal woman with a lot of love to give.

Valentina loves doing her makeup and is quite the talented makeup artist. It was almost like her pre-work relaxation ritual for the night, doing her makeup while blasting some of her favourite music.

Loves heavy metal and rock music! It was quite rare but when she was able to go to concerts, she’d be in the mosh pit.

As well as having her ears pierced, she’s also got her belly button pierced.

Has a younger half-sister named Carmen who is five years younger than her. Val loves her above all else and is fiercely protective of. Aside from this has no relationship with any of her immediate family.

Growing up it was just Valentina and her father; her mother wasn’t really in the picture. She was really close with her father. However, he passed away when she was 12.

She was then sent to live with her mother, step father and Carmen. Her mother and step-father were cold and neglectful towards her, it was always clear that they didn’t want her there.

 As a result of this she grew into a trouble making teenager.

At first, she was distant from her little sister, envious of the love her mother and step father seemed to give her. However, as the pair grew older Valentina came to realise that the amount of pressure they put on her, even from a young age, was harmful within itself. They didn’t love her, they loved the idea of her and as soon as Carmen strayed from what they wanted she was punished. From that moment onwards Valentina vowed to love and protect her sister.

In fact, she started trying to change her trouble making ways so she could be a better older sister.

Valentina left home the age of 20 after a huge argument with her mother and step-father. The only person she stayed in contact with was Carmen (and she had to fight to stay in contact with her, their mother tried to prevent it but was unsuccessful).

Had little to her name when she left home and ended up couch surfing at friend’s places for a while.

Eventually saves up enough to rent a little place of her own, it was small and little bit rundown but it was hers. Carmen ended up moving in with Valentina after also having a falling out with their parents. Times could be tough but they were happy to have each other.

Valentina always wanted to provide a better life for her sister than what she was able to and this is why Cecilia was able to convince her to join the scam. She promised Valentina a life changing sum of money in exchange for pretending to be a nurse for a couple of days. Valentina had her doubts but at the end of the day, such a large sum of money to pretend to be a nurse for a short period of time??? She’d be a fool not too, after all this was for her sister. And she’d do anything for her sister.

Carlos Peña Ortiz consolida su reelección con arranque multitudinario

Reynosa Tamaulipas, Abril 15 del 2024. Carlos Peña Ortiz inició su campaña para la reelección en Reynosa, Tamaulipas, este 15 de abril de 2024.

Con una multitud de más de 7 mil 500 asistentes, el evento mostró un amplio respaldo ciudadano hacia el candidato de Morena , quien busca continuar liderando los destinos de la ciudad a través de la coalición "Sigamos Haciendo Historia", integrada por Morena, PT y el Partido Verde Ecologista de México.

Peña Ortiz agradeció a los dirigentes del Partido Verde y del PT por su apoyo, destacando la presencia del senador José Ramón Gómez Leal, quien le ha brindado respaldo en los momentos más difíciles.

En su discurso, el candidato enfatizó los logros de su gestión, tales como mejoras en infraestructura, servicios públicos y programas sociales, que han beneficiado a miles de habitantes.

Uno de los puntos clave de su discurso fue su compromiso con la lucha contra el llamado "cabecismo", un grupo político que busca desterrar de Tamaulipas para evitar el regreso de un gobierno opresor, autoritario y violento.

Peña Ortiz prometió trabajar para garantizar la seguridad ciudadana, el desarrollo económico y la atención a sectores vulnerables de la población.

El candidato también resaltó su política pública enfocada en enfrentar la pobreza y brindar oportunidades de estudio a los jóvenes. Destacó la construcción de más presas para evitar inundaciones, así como el pavimento de más calles y la entrega de becas desde kínder hasta universidad.

Peña Ortiz se presenta como el favorito para obtener la reelección, contando con el respaldo popular necesario para continuar su proyecto de transformación en Reynosa. Su evento de campaña marcó el inicio de una lucha política en la que se enfrentará a quienes lo han atacado y perseguido, pero con la firme convicción de seguir adelante.

Delegación completa de la escuela de atletismo para competir en el torneo por el Día de la Mujer Delegación completa de la escuela de atletismo para competir en el torneo por el Día de la Mujer Este sábado 9 de marzo con delegación completa una vez más, la Escuela Municipal de Atletismo estará participando en la pista sintética “Justo Ernesto Román” de Mar del Plata en ocasión del torneo federado “Día Internacional de la Mujer”, organizado por la Federación Marplatense de Atletismo y fiscalizado por la Asociación de Jueces. La delegación de Necochea, compuesta por alrededor de 20 alumnos, estará acompañada por el coordinador general Mauro Cabrera junto a los profesores Juliana Jové, Sofía Enciso y Santiago Cabrera, y con el respaldo de la Dirección de Deportes que encabeza Guadalupe Hernández. Con el trabajo en equipo como bandera, el Prof. Mauro Cabrera resaltó que “entre los deportistas y sus familias, el Estado municipal y el trabajo incansable de los profesores de la Escuela Municipal, viajaremos este sábado 9 de marzo al cuarto torneo del año, logrando participar en la totalidad de los torneos organizados en la vecina localidad”. Este tipo de eventos competitivos “no solo sirven para la puesta a punto de los atletas, sino que también logran que juntos trabajemos para que nuestros jóvenes tengan estas posibilidades de crecimiento deportivo, emocional y profesional en este contexto social y económico tan adverso, y con la importancia que tiene el deporte en el marco social que atravesamos”, referenció el coordinador. Brasil y Cuba en los espectáculos de las postas 4x100

Brasil entre los hombres y Cuba entre las damas volvieron a exhibir su tradicional potencial en relevos y se adueñaron de las medallas de oro de las pruebas 4x100. En la posta femenina , Cuba venció  con 43.72 y Chile continuó su gran celebración –está cumpliendo su mejor panamericano- al llevarse la medalla de plata con 44.19, delante de República Dominicana (44.32). Luego se ubicaron Ecuador (44.64), Brasil (44.67) y Colombia (44.79). Para la cuarteta chilena que formaron Anaís Valentina Hernández, Martina Weil (campeona de 400), Isidora Jiménez y María Ignacia Montt fue una fiesta completa. Ya en la segunda serie habían escoltado a Cuba (43.63) y allí las locales marcaron 44.35, batiendo por cinco centésimas el récord nacional fijado durante el Sudamericano de Sao Paulo, a fines de julio. Un récord que, por cierto, volvieron a batir en esta final. Para la Argentina este relevo tuvo un sabor extraño. El equipo formado por Belén Fritzsche, María Florencia Lamboglia, Melanie Soledad Rosalez y María Victoria Woodward logró el segundo puesto de la primera serie con 44.72 (allí ganó Ecuador con 44.34). Y de este modo, la cuarteta argentina batió el más antiguo de los récords nacionales de su país, que otra formación había establecido con 44.90 durante los Panamericanos de México en 1975. Sin embargo, Woodward sufrió una fuerte caída en la llegada que obligó a su inmediata atención médica y que impidió que, horas más tarde, la cuarteta pudiera presentarse en la final. Entre los hombres, Brasil no contaba con uno de sus baluartes, Paulo André Camilo de Oliveira, lesionado durante las eliminatorias individuales. Pero la “alternativa” era un verdadero lujo: nada menos que el juvenil Renán Correa de Lima Gallina, quien momentos antes había ganado la final de los 200 metros llanos. Y así la formación de Rodrigo Pereira do Nascimento, Felipe Bardi dos Santos, Erik Felipe Barbosa Cardoso y Renán se llevó el título con 38.68, uniendo a las medallas que –en las últimas décadas- Brasil ha cosechado en las principales competencias internacionales de 4x100.
