🪻Bruce🪻
Who Fell first
From the get go Bruce thought you were pretty and super caring. You had another 3 weeks at the resort and everyday at 6:00pm you two would meet and go explore the island together. Well Bruce knew all the nook and crannys of the island, so it was really you exploring and him keeping you company.
Bruce would turn flirty as soon as he realized his feelings, leaving the subtle indications of his feelings. It would really keep you on your toes. Subtle brush of the fingers on your back when walking together, finding flowers and giving it to you, when he would see you in the resort would always wink at you but then act like nothing happened and would always brush your hair when he gets a chance. However, you could never tell whether it was his charming personality or genuine.
He loved and hated the fact that you couldn't tell if he was genuine. He loved the chase, but just wanted you to fall for him.
Who Fell Harder
Hell all of this happening made you fall big time for Bruce. First with all the flirtations threw you off. It made you nervous and excited at the same time. When you noticed it would be time to meet him you always had doubts. Was he being real or not?
When he started to use his hands more. Gentle touches here and there and playing with your hair. You would melt instantly, often nearly fainting. You fell for him. However, you fell even harder one day.
You both went to the cove together. Today was different. He barely spoke just stared out to the waters. "Are you okay?" You asked stepping forward. Bruce turned around. You breath got caught in your throat. The sun was setting so a warm orange glow surrounded him and a slight breeze blew his hair slightly. "I just the past couple of weeks have been amazing. If it wasn't for you I would've never gotten over everything that has happened for me. I just wished it never had to end." He said taking your hands in his. You were a tomato at this point.
You knew how he felt. Did you have to leave?
A/N: I just wanna say the bottom picture I love it. That scene when they're all stretching as NSYNC is coming makes me crease Everytime.

I've been thinking about Bruce's name lately and I came with this idea.
"A new name for a new life"
It took a while for Spruce to cool off after the argument, angrily walking and hair-swinging until his feet begged for a chance to rest. His first week away from the tree was spent like that, his mind keeping him mad through the days and blinded to the severity of the situation.
Until he almost walked off a cliff.
His mind cleared and he snapped out of it. He sat where he was standing, just now realizing the amount of days that he had walked. Fatigued, hungry and thirsty, he stayed by the cliff, thinking about his unintended journey.
He realized he didn't know where he was, or even how far from the tree this cliff was located, he just knew he had been following the direction where the sun set. A more aware look around revealed sand and a close by body of water, larger than any he had seen before, and out in the distance he could see an island of glistening sand.
Just how far had he walked?
He should go back, but could he? Would he find the way back if he followed the moon rise, like he did the sunset?
Would he be welcomed back? He had walked out on his younger brothers for fluff sake! He left Floyd and Bitty B behind and didn't look back. Would they even want him to go back?
But more importantly, could he really go back to being Spruce "the heartthrob"? Even without Brozone, he would still be expected to play the part, trolls weren't very accepting of change, wanted everything to remain the exact same, the way they were comfortable with.
But he couldn't live like that, not anymore.
He couldn't go back, he couldn't be Spruce anymore.
But who could he be?
A memory came to mind, a little voice sounding out words, jungling letters together in his attempt to get his "S's" and "R's" right.
"Sssp...spoo...Bruce!"
Spruce had taken it in stride back then, always answering when Branch called out to him, even if the nickname only lasted until Branch started getting his name right. But sometimes, when baby Branch really needed his older brother for comfort and love, he would call him "Bruce".
He may not be able to keep being Spruce the Heartthrob, but he could be Bruce.
Decided on his new life, Bruce got up from the floor, eyes set in the sight of the glistening island, and started walking.
He's sure he can get down there, he already made it this far after all.

Finally, I finished my human au design of Spruce’s wife, Brandi. I headcanon her as African-American with Indigenous Hawaiian descent and she helps out Bruce Rivera a.k.a Spruce run the cantina, Bruce and Sons, and the hotel, Vacay Island in Hawaii with their children. I kinda imagine Brandi also has knowledge in Hawaiian mythology that she would pass down the stories to their kids and the family would speak English, Hawaiian, and Spanish in their home. She also dance the hula, which her grandmother would teach her, as a morning routine and she would teach the dance to Poppy, Rose, and Jussy a.k.a @jade-green-butterfly.

Ok so, this gives us information on what the three new different locations are like, I love how the Dreamworks is just feeding the fandom this way lol
-Vacay Island-
So we already know it’s fully populated by puppetry people, and it’s a vacation everyday (which is cool) and we see it’s just a whole beach island and there’s a giant sandcastle they all hang out at. Also there’s just sunset everyday, how does that work? I get it this is Trolls but how would it work? How would they know it’s night and day? Overall it looks cool!
-Hole n’ Fun-
We know it’s a abandon Bergen golf course and these golf ball trolls live there and it’s where Viva and Clay live, and there houses are the holes which is interesting and makes sense. So I’m really sure we’re gonna learn some lore when the movie comes out, like how it was established and abandoned them populated by the golf trolls. Perhaps the Bergens took some trolls there to use them as golf balls or some trolls they went threw the tunnels got lost and found the golf course and made it there home.
-Mount Rageous-
Ok, it’s all one big club/city, like Las Vegas and Hollywood at the same time but it’s all populated by teenagers and teenagers only. So now we know Velvet and Veneer are confirmed to be teenagers, so I got a few questions, where are the adults? Are there any children? So like, I’m thinking maybe the adults have there own side maybe, and possibly a side where family’s live, just like a normal city kind of way. Or maybe they all don’t age and are just teenagers forever. I would want to live there or at least visit cause it’s just for teens and I would have so much fun (even though I have social issues-)

Sleepover final pt
Poppy and Viva are still arguing about the cake theme for their sleepover. Veneer kept on thinking until he snapped with the idea.
I have an idea Veneer said causing the girls to stop fighting.
You do? Poppy and Viva asked.
Veneer nodded and pulled out his phone to look for cake recipes.
How about we make chocolate cake it’s one of my favorites growing up plush I made it when I lived with parents just before they died Veneer said showing Poppy the photo.
Chocolate cake huh well I could use a different flavor Poppy said.
That’s a good idea let’s make chocolate cake Viva said with excitement.
Poppy agreed putting away the strawberries and start on a new recipe for the cake.
I can’t wait to tasted Poppy said pouring the cake mix.
So can I Veneer replied putting the chocolates inside the bowl.
Few hours later
Alright the cake is done Veneer said grabbing the knife to cut the cake.
Yes Poppy and Viva said with joy as they got into the table.
Hope you like it Veneer said placing the plates on the table.
Let’s dig in Poppy said taking the first bite. Viva did the same.
So how is it? Veneer asked waiting for the nice comments.
It’s DELICIOUS Viva said
Yeah I never knew that chocolate can be so good Poppy said.
Aww thank you it means alot Veneer said taking the bite of the cake.
After eating the cake
Alright since it’s my turn to choose the next activity Poppy said grabbing a piece of paper.
Oh yes pillow fight Poppy said with excitement.
Uh Poppy I don’t think is a good idea to have pillow fight Viva said.
Why not oh cuz you’re afraid that you’ll be the easy target Poppy said.
No I stopped caring about that a long time ago only to realize I was stronger than everyone else Viva said.
Do you even remember what happened on the last sleepover? Viva asked Poppy.
Poppy stood silently remembering of what happened on their last sleepover.
Flashback
Stop have mercy Viva begged as Barb threw the pillow at her.
Hey Barb why don’t you pick someone on your own sides Poppy said teasing.
Well since you’re tough Poppy Barb said as Viva watched.
Take this and that are you tough now? Barb asked teasing. Poppy let out a growl and air smashed Barb up in the sky.
Poppy what the hell that wasn’t supposed to happen now we lost our guest Viva said looking at the window.
Goodbye heavy metal pan hello strong raging pillow Poppy said looking at her pillow.
End of flashback
It was the most amazing experience I had Poppy said yelping. Viva sighed as Veneer took out a piece of paper.
Gossip Veneer said causing the girls to cheer as the three sat on the floor.
Since you picked that activity let’s talk about boys Poppy said letting out a playful growl. Viva and Veneer giggled while rolling their eyes.
So Viva how are you and Clay doing? Poppy asked smirking. Viva blushed
Well me and Clay we were you know hanging out at the Vacay Island enjoying the sunset Viva replied blushing.
How are you and Branch doing? Viva asked. Poppy blushed.
Wet the usual singing,dancing and cuddling too much Poppy said blushing. Veneer giggled quietly as he began to blush.
So Vennie do you have a crush on someone? Poppy asked causing Veneer to snap.
Ah w-well there’s this boy I like back in Mount Rageous when me and Velvet used to be famous. He interviewed us and after that we sort of talked all lot Veneer said blushing.
Ooh what’s his name? Viva asked smirking. Veneer took a deep breath and answered.
His name is KidRitz Veneer said blushing deeply red.
Oh that’s a beautiful name Poppy said.
Where is he? Viva asked curious.
He’s in Mount Rageous or probably looking for me Veneer replied as he let out a yawn.
You must be sleepy huh? Poppy asked.
Yeah Veneer replied.
I guess we should get some sleep cuz tomorrow we’re going to Vacay Island to have some fun Viva said yawning
Agree Veneer said as the three got into the couch laying down.
And we need to clean this mess Poppy said yawning.
The three closed their eyes and fell asleep for their big day tomorrow.
