“I’ve painted a picture of the @wanderbeyondbrewing team (not literally, that would be weird) but metaphorically speaking, one in my head, of the story that made them the success they are today. ..I like to think they all met at University. A decent one, like Oxford, and all studied Chemistry. They weren’t there to chase skirt, they were there to achieve, and they did, all graduating with 1st class honours degrees. They’re super intelligent, a little bit geeky, but not complete gimpazoids. .. Yes, they were online gamers, yes, they painted warhammer figurines, yes, they drank fruited tea. But there was another more reckless side to them at Uni. They’d not be opposed to blasting a firework out of their bedroom window every now and again, they weren’t afraid to play their music too loud, or pinch the occasional road sign when pissed. ..I like to think they took their expertise from uni in to their brewing. It’s less a brewing space, more a chemistry lab. The periodic table hung up on a wall, it’s all Bunsen Burners, test tubes, syringes, funnels, and protective goggles all needed when creating their next bonkers flavoured potion (#beer). And they liked to blow shit up. ..Either that or they’re all witches. Yes they could be witches. Throwing a load of edible delights in to a cauldron to produce brewing madness yet genius. ..This particular #beer, the 10% Raspberry Imperial Stout ‘Raspberry Crash’ mesmerised me more because it doesn’t go down the same texture line as most of their other beers, it’s as thin as piss, but I still absolutely loved it. ..Where in the fuckeroo do they get their raspberries and chocolate from? Certainly not Asda. There’s always a real quality in their flavour, and this is no exception. It’s like a delicious smokey, bitter, dark chocolate with this beautiful sweet and tart raspberry that comes to the forefront. It takes a lot for me to bat an eyelid at the texture of an Impy, but this did just that. ..Purchased from my man Dan @beerstorkuk ..Street Art by @urocki 👏👏👏👏👏”
