As a Ukrainian, the past two years and especially and increasingly the recent months have felt like I and other people in my country are some test subjects behind a glass wall. And people from Western countries come and watch us slowly dying due to various poisons that are being introduced.

Occasionally someone throws us a vial of an antidote, but it's small and diluted and never enough to actually fully help. And they watch us dying one by one until they get bored or even annoyed and leave to go on with their day. And they have all the means to help. They just won't because they don't want a scandal with the people who are pumping poison at us.

Thinking about one particular thing Zelenskyy said in a documentary about the first year of the full scale war.

When he talked about the psychological side of what we are going through, he said (not a direct quote): "It's like when you are crossing a street, and suddenly there is a car speeding towards you. And you don't even think as you jump away from it, and it's only a few moments later that you start processing what just happened. And what it's like now is that there is another car immediately after the first before the processing could even start, and you have to jump again, and another one, and another one. And there is no time to process any of it. No time for any of it to settle".

I feel like it's a good comparison. It's just constant bombardment, literally and metaphorically...
