Ну вот и пришёл этот момент! Пустые посты со скринами кончились, теперь можно и поговорить :D Хотя, какие пустые посты? Это тоже часть поздравления, но уже не только от меня, но и от Андерсов, надеюсь, вам понравились скрины и мне удалось передать в них эту тёплую атмосферу праздника

Вот-вот наступит следующий год, а значит, пора прощаться с нынешним и подводить итоги. Честно сказать, мне подводить то особо нечего :/ Помимо всего плохого, что происходило весь год в мире, у меня итак не самый хороший период в жизни идёт, но мы сюда пришли не проблемы вываливать, а праздновать :D

Наверное, самым хорошим и запоминающимся для меня в этом году стало начало ведения моего блога, как тамблера, так и ютуба, это действительно мне помогло почувствовать себя намного лучше и исполнить свою, так сказать, мечту! Так что я ни капли об этом не жалею, тем более, что здесь получилось попасть в такое небольшое уютное комьюнити и как делиться своими творениями, так и наблюдать за чужими

Конечно, есть ещё кое-что, что я могу выделить в этом году, но это либо что-то очень маленькое, чего упоминать особо смысла не вижу или что-то довольно личное, что останется лишь со мной

Уже говорил, что итоги по блогу хочу подвести на годовщину, которая будет уже 18 числа, но могу выделить здесь адвент, у нас всё таки тут новый год :D Про него тоже уже говорил, но скажу ещё раз - получился очень интересный опыт, я рад, что не остановился на полпути и смог всё закончить и порадовать всех, кто скачал хотя бы одну постройку и воспользовался ей в своей игре! Ну и не могу не упомянуть скачивания! Их перевалило за 22к!!! Я был в шоке, когда увидел эту цифру! Скажи мне год назад, что не одну тысячу раз мои постройки кто-нибудь скачает, я бы не поверил, ну и конечно же, самым популярным участком является школа - она набрала 3484 скачиваний! Спасибо всем, кто поддерживает мой труд и пользуется моими участками!

Насчёт людей могу сказать, что с кем-то пути разошлись, кто-то наоборот пришёл в мою жизнь /например, все вы :D/, а с кем-то наша связь только укрепилась. Искренне благодарен всем, кто был со мной на протяжении всего года и пойдёт со мной дальше в 2023

Ну, наверное, всё, добавить то мне особо и нечего, каждый раз повторяю, что не умею писать такие тексты и каждый раз за это извиняюсь, но надо меняться, верно? В любом случае, тот, кто должен это прочитать - прочитает и ничего плохого не заметит :D Лично от себя хочу сначала в сотый раз поблагодарить всех за то, что скрасили мой год тем. что просто были здесь! Ну и хочу сказать, что все ненужные мысли, привычки и конечно же людей, как и все ужасы надо оставить в уходящем году и идти дальше с чистой душой и головой! Никогда не зацикливайтесь на прошлом и идите вперёд не оглядывайтесь! И даже если выдумаете, что делаете что-то незначительное - вы молодец и рано или поздно всё обязательно будет так, как вы захотите! Ещё раз всех с новым годом, всего-всего и побольше!

mini dedication essay to black simmers and ts4 creators below! pls read if you have the chance! <3

this edit is a small homage to afrofuturism and the various unique black hairstyles (and especially the black creators of most of these hairs) that i have downloaded and admired over the years! some of these are old and some of these are new.

to me, afrofuturism means constantly honoring/reclaiming/challenging the past while constantly creating/dreaming of a better society/world/future. a society/world/future that embraces and empowers all of our differences, ingenuity, aspirations, and unique lived/cultural experiences. a society/world/future that does not limit us through the various systems of marginalization and oppression (racism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, sexism, xenophobia, ableism, classism, colorism, etc.) that often affects how we, as black people, live today.

blackness is so diverse and intricate yet it's always been a struggle to find my culture within a game that's known for being so limiting, bland, and extremely eurocentric when it comes to hairstyles, clothing, food traditions/events, etc. black simmers have always had to figure out how to make this game more inclusive and make it resemble either more like how our ancestors lived, how our current lives are, or how we would want our lives (and even our children's lives) to look like in the future no matter how dystopian the real world look and feel now. fortunately, these hairs and their uniqueness bring a huge sense of culture and style to this game. they have always inspired me and made me feel extremely proud to a part of the lovely african diaspora (and the ever-growing black simmer community).

in a way, being a black simmer and cc creator usually means that we are often digitally creating our own worlds as afrofuturists to varying degrees (whether we know it or not) every time we open our game, make our sims, make houses, and/or make black cultural cc. also, now i know that cc making is not easy to do and is extremely time-consuming so this post is also just me giving all black cc creators especially those who create for free their well-deserved flowers! here are some other black cc creators who created cc that have greatly impacted my game since i first started playing sims 4: @/leeleesims1 @/simtric @/hi-land @/yuyulie @/sims4bradshaw @/ebonixsims @/xmiramira @/sheabuttyr @/qwertysims @/oplerims @/sleepingsims @/shespeakssimlish and so many more im forgetting probably (im too shy rn to tag ppl but i greatly appreciate y’all fr i hope y’all telepathically get this message somehow 😭).

last but not least, i am hoping that this inspires somebody to keep creating or start creating regardless of what they think their skill level is! somebody will absolutely fall in love with your work and/or your art/work will 100% change someone's game forever <333
