Ever wanted to play Bitville from Sims Life Stories, but with its original lore, right after Vincent's Story completed in Sims 2?

Well, then I might have something for you! You might remember that we updated Four Corners, but with Riley's Story completed last summer as well. In these alternative versions of the recreated Stories neighborhoods which the HBG and I made years ago, you can play with the sims just like in a freshly "unlocked" free-play neighborhood in Sims Life Stories, as if you played through the story mode in TS2.

Additionally, right before the end of Vincent's Story, the main character Naomi gets hit by Vincent's very own satellite and Vincent pleads with the Grim Reaper. However, Grim would only return Naomi if Vincent is willing to give up his fortune for her. So you get to choose the outcome of the story with these two options:

Vincent values money over love: Naomi dies, Vincent gets to keep his fortune, mansion, job and receives a statue of Naomi (which is basically also her grave)

Vincent values love over money: Naomi survives, but Vincent loses his fortune, mansion and job. He would then live together with Naomi with almost no money to start off of.

I recreated both scenarios, so you can download either neighborhood, based on your preferred ending. (In TS2, you could technically also resurrect Naomi now and let Vincent keep his fortune, but that's up to you then, lol.)

Also, if you’re not familiar with Vincent’s story, I recommend watching this lovely series/sims machinima made by the talented Bright Sim Studio on YT. 💕

It’s based on the storyline from the game and I must say they did an excellent job!! It’s very true to the original story and I love the new additions/plot twists as well! Definitely worth checking out! ^^

If anyone fancied playing the Sims Life Stories and Pet Stories hoods, Hood Building Group on MTS recreated them all, and recently updated Bitville so you can choose to play from the two different endings onwards :) Four Corners from Riley's Story has already been updated in this way last year, and I saw they currently working on updating more of their hoods to be played from the end of the story as well, so keep an eye out! I did originally add all the hoods to a megahood and just started making the community lots over, but now I might start again with just the updated Four Corners, Bitville and also Arbor Falls (as there's presumably no update coming, as no story), then add Mesa Flats and Garden Heights once they're updated :)

Genderswapped Stories Hoods

Hello everyone

I am pretty sure some of you like the idea of genderswapped game hoods because I for sure do. It's somewhat the same experience but also quite different and some ideas may change. Sadly when googling for these I couldn't find many. Either only pleasantview or a whole uberhood.

Some time ago I decided to download said uberhood but I wanted to make it even more complete. You can probably already tell where I'm going with it (probably because of the post title tho). I decided to make genderswapped versions of stories hoods. All except the islands tho because they're built different. I for some reason didn't share them publicly til today so here they are.

I won't post Bitville or Arbor Falls pics because they're unchanged but they're there and also swapped.

At first I made them as subhoods only but later I converted them to main hoods for easier use. I used MTS recreations by Hood Building Group as bases. I edited them a little to be more accurate with the stories games (I play them a lot so I just had to xd).

Biggest change is the fact that some bin families are back in bin and some additional sims are deceased. Four corners is somewhat combination of actual Four Corners and of Freeplay version, because it had Stardusts and Margisons moved in so I used that fact to match their houses.

There are some more minor changes but they're not really important. Most important one is that all of these hoods are genderswapped, have full neighborhood story, all descriptions and stuff. I also added polish translation cuz why not (except neighborhood story cuz I'm unsure how to change the text in there just for one language).

This was made with UC, so it's probably required.

I must admit that I miss my usual BB CC but I have to do this makeover with only the in-game items, store, and stories conversions. At least I can still use the shiftable everything mod to decorate.

Coming Soon - Sims 2 Four Corners with Maxis Townies!

I'm currently working on bringing the original Life Stories townies back into The Sims 2 version of Four Corners! This process is proving much more tedious than Belladonna Cove, requiring me to extract Sim's appearances from virtually every Maxis neighbourhood. Thankfully every Sim shares an exact template with at least one other TS2 Sim, so the only differences between the townies from LS and TS2 will be;

Some variations in clothing (I had to go off a single close-up photo so I had to guess their outfit the best I could).

Sims whose Turn Ons and Turn Offs are randomized in LS have now been chosen by me.

Some Sims have LTW's not related to their aspiration, so I've changed it to something more suitable.

Aside from this, their careers, skills, personalities and genetics remain identical to that of Life Stories.

I'm hoping to get this posted by the end of the month and I'd eventually like to do the same for Bitville, Garden Heights and Mesa Flats!

Please note I will only be releasing a Main Hood version, but anyone is welcome to use upcoming downloads to create a Subhood version to share with the community!

Hey, you know how I’m always banging on about how far Veronavillians have hiked when they’re randomly popping up in Viper Canyon or Pleasantview? This is my terrible attempt to make geographical sense of my uberhood using a terrain map of America, because I feel like the different kinds of land and the temperatures found in these places lend themselves quite well to the variety we have in the Sims 2 neighborhoods. But because of the ludicrous hikes sims take when you have an uberhood I figured the land mass wouldn’t be as vast as over in the States (as I presently type from my temporary home in London).

In terms of placement – there is method in my madness, let me explain. One day I’ll list all this in detail but I totally think of Belladonna Cove as exactly like San Francisco, hence throwing it on the West Coast – conversely, Downtown to me is kind of a carbon copy of New York City... to the East Coast it goes! Obvs desert places go in the dustbowl region; @katatty‘s tropical Desiderata is a thing of genius which I’m hugely inspired by, so the humid South-East makes sense.

As you can see, the only Sims 3 neighborhood I’ve incorporated is Aurora Skies solely for the purpose of Erin returning to the land of her childhood with Lazlo and kids in tow. It’s always winter or autumn there. Weather is one of the most fun / infuriating things to work out in this process!

New TS2 Simblr.

Hello everyone! Welcome to my TS2 gameplay simblr. In an effort to conceal my identity as best as possible, you can call me Spore. This is a side blog; my main is @sims2shrine, which is an unorganized dumping ground of random TS2 content including cc reblogs, art reblogs, memes, articles, other simmers’ TS2 gameplay, etc. I wanted to make a separate simblr for my own gameplay, so here we are.

What sort of things can you expect to see here?

Besides the obvious answer of gameplay, I do have a specific ‘plan’ of what I want to play and post. One thing I love the most about TS2 is the ability to create and share blank, decorated, or populated custom neighborhoods. On this simblr, I want to play and post as many populated custom neighborhoods I can find. The ones currently on my list are, in no particular order:

Moving on to MESA FLATS!

Rachel Ware is 3 bolting with Julian Cooke. They went on a date, he moved in, they got married and he is calling it a dream date... WELL I HOPE SO BECAUSE YOU MARRIED HER

That said, they are expecting a child.

Meanwhile were Theda Gilbert out there playing and flirting with any man coming by... so Sanjay Ramaswami and Vincent Moore. No children expected as far as I remember. But I cannot say for the future where she’ll go. She was actually going pretty well with Vincent in terms of bolts.
