What if one of the spiders survived but used to be Lady Bone Demon's servant Or knight
That spider demon being Goliath
But after Spider Queen and the rest of the spider demons died and after S2, Lady Bone Demon decided to bring back one of the spiders back but needed them to be her knight, he tried escaping like how Macaque did but you can guess what happens next
Lbd gave him an offer.
Either be her knight or go back to being a ghost
He known what happens if he said no so he chose yes
He knows what happened to him and saw it himself
"Damn it, this woman is toying with me, this must be a trap"
"Do you want to live or not.. Your choice"
"Fine. I'll do it"
"Good"
His AU self is basically him in armor (like Tea Knight Cookie's armor and Possesed Wukong's armor but with glowing eyes)
And he has eyes similar to Possessed Wukong
The only rule for him to follow is not to take off the helmet so he won't blow his cover
And He FINALLY HAS REAL LEGS THIS TIME
But the funny thing is that MACAQUE has to be his partner. They don't have a dynamic since they don't talk that much.
Mk and Mei find him terrifying honestly because the way he has the helmet on cuz it is

so ur comment made me think of the pilot & how diff it would have been if nick was gutshot. like he walks in late hungover/still semi drunk, disrespects everyone, knocks over stuff, argues with ecklie/grissom. bc of his traumatic past w/the babysitter (oh yes, whump for the whump queen MK). but nick's behavior inspires warrick to clean up his act (cuz he doesn't wanna be like him). also what if nick slowly changes bc of GREG? like greg's the only one who doesn't judge nick/listens to his stories
aw that would be really interesting for the nick/greg aspect, esp since I’ve always felt Nick (and Warrick) helped a lot in Greg maturing over the years, just in the same way that Nick was loosened up in part due to Greg? So that dynamic shake up would def be interesting!
AND seeing kind of the darker side of his trauma in that way would have been great to see, too, seeing more outbursts and unhealthy repression only to find that underneath his asshole behavior, he’s got a really strong heart and high empathy (I’m sure he would be super soft and sweet in private but unruly everywhere else)
(plus, semi-drunk nick?! sign me tf up)
