i'm tired of 'haunts the narrative' talk just because it IS tired, and i am BORED, but i feel like it's a cruel joke especially for me that laura is considered the like Quintessential Girl Who Haunts The Narrative and i'm like... i don't think you can really even do that if the narrative is about you. if you are one of the most fundamental forces DRIVING the narrative (both as a character and as a plot device) can you be 'haunting' it. aren't those other guys the ones haunting YOUR narrative, at that point.

i was so underwhelmed by tptr when i watched it the first time (other than a few elements which i unreservedly loved) but this time, coming hot off an original seasons rewatch, i am losing my mind every 5 minutes.
