The Deutsche Schauspielpreis is an award given from actresses and actors to fellows. I feel even more honored for being nominated, especially for my acting performance in particular. @deutscherschauspielpreis thanks for nominating a headscarf-wearing Muslim for the first time for this award. It’s a step in the right direction, and should shot stop here. Many people in Germany are still being stigmatized and stereotyped, also inside in the acting industry. WE have to start getting away from creating roles that stigmatize a specific group of people. WE have to start creating chances to play diverse roles other than the same stereotyped ones they ‘fit in.’ WE have to start creating justice for coexistence in harmony, where nobody is being disadvantaged for his/her origin, religion, sexuality, or just for being different. Foir my job, this means to take racist and discriminating thinking out of the scripts, casting offers, casts itself, and everyday life. It means creating normally instead where actresses are being judged for their performance. DRUCK set a good example and I am very thankful to have been part of this project and team.

DRUCK fandom, can you please chill with the worry about season 4 actually being a brand new cast? It’s not.

In the pic you can see above is Touka’s (Amira) agency list her for season 4 of DRUCK. And they even list it separately to the first 3 seasons. Maybe that’s their way to signaling she is a main in season 4.

big part of the reason why amira and kiki are becoming closer in druck is for sure bc tua and lea are super close in real life and it was probably their wish to have more and enjoyable screentime together, but hey, you won't hear me complaining :')
