You can't lie. Every time that Angel tells you that he must go on a run, you feel like your heart starts to wither with every beat, until he comes back and it flourish again. You're watching him getting dressed after taking a quick shower, focused on the way the black tufts of wet hair fall onto his forehead, dancing with every move he does. Your eyes travel his tight bare torso, flowing onto his fingers doing the zip and the belt of his jeans. You are in love, you can't lie. And it's painful seeing him getting ready to leave for four days or a week, not knowing if he's going to come back or not. Resting your face on his side of the large pillow, you try to call his attention with your incessant gaze placed on his face.

“Don' look at me like tha', mi dulce”. He whispers without turning at you, putting on the black shirt with short sleeves, before the Mayans kutte.

His voice sounds grieved, being aware that you have a hard time when he's away from you. Angel feels the same. It's the first time that someone lives only for him, for making him happy, for making him feel loved. Taking the advantage of him sitting on the edge of the mattress to tie his boots, you surround his waist, kneeling on your shared bed.

“I will be waiting for you”. You mumble, placing your lips on his nape, in the meantime your fingertips brush his hair from the roots to the back of his head. “Don't make me do it for too long…”

“I will not”. He can't help but gasp softly, when your lips go down to a side of his neck.

His hands get intertwined with yours placed on his abdomen, closing his eyes just for a second to record every touch of your lips on his mind, to remember them whenever he feels lonely.

“I have to go”. Angel says, not very convinced, or delighted about it.

Getting up from the bed, he hangs the black bag in one of his shoulders, grabbing the keys of his bike and his phone. Placing a kneel on the mattress, he leans over you to kiss you gently, slowly; not wanting to leave. But when you hear his ringtone, both grunt disappointed.

“I love you, don' forget it, please”.

“I will not, mi ángel”.

The door gets closed before you can expect it, heavily snorting and tangling your body in the sheets that still have his smell impregnated in them. Your phone dings with a notification, hoping that nothing in your work is burning, stretching a hand to take it from the nightstand.
