The fact that Toross turned Nora's death into a statue as means to commemorate what her and Efrim's actions have done for the advancement of the Necromes, treating her as their hero, when she just wanted to get her family back is all levels of messed up.

Je pense que quand on disait qu'on voulait voir Yugo grandir, on se l'imaginait pas comme ça !
I think that when we said we wanted to see Yugo grow up, we didn't imagine it to be like that!

Everything you need to know about Toross Mordal.
Some may have trouble piecing it all together on who Toross is as a person and where he comes from.
Which is why I listed everything you need to know about Toross Mordal here! (The list will be incomplete for now just in case we learn more things about him later on or if you would also like to add anything here if I happened to miss anything) :
Toross comes from the first planet that the gods (excluding Pandawa and Sacrier) have created. Just like the World of Twelve, his planet had dragons (with one of them being named Rötalstrom) and the six primordial dofus.
Toross was the first in the world, and in the Krosmoz, to have reunited all the primordial dofus.
He likely used to be an iop due to his signature sword.
Toross used to be a greedy man who always wanted more in life. More adventures, more fame, more riches, but most of all, more power.
Toross can have good intentions but the way he applies them is always done the wrong way.
Because of his severe thirst for greed, he ended up becoming a calamity that destroyed the very same world he lived in.
His world was so severely damaged that even the gods couldn’t fix it so they opted to use his world as a garbage bin instead.
After some time however, the gods decided to ban the Eliatrope goddess and throw her in his world in an attempt to try bringing their old subjects back from the dead.
Despite his body being entirely composed of stasis now, Toross is the only one between Efrim and his other subjects to still somewhat feel a few feelings and emotions.

BEHOLD: Toross Mordal in English! Or rather, my approximation of what he might sound like. I tried to listen to Lionel Tua's performance while recording this so that the same tone is carried over.

Possible epilepsy warning for Wakfu season 4's episode "Toross Mordal"
There's a fast-paced, flashy sequence where lot happens at the same time. Especifically around minute 9:25 to 11:20.
I'm not completely sure if it could cause problems to those with photosensitivity or epilepsy but I felt writing a heads up just in case was a good option for any fan that needs it, since, while iy isn't as flashy and rapid as the episode oropo scene I mentioned a while ago (which, fun fact, I recently learnt actually got marked with a photosensitivity warning in the french streaming site where it's legally aired) it is a bit longer I think?
I think for any viewer at risk the scene is worth checking out, as long as there is no video input if possible, just the audio, as it gives us some very interesting lore, but I remark, only as long as you can do it safely. Do practice safety measures for photosensitive conditions, and keep your health above all!
Feel free to boost, like last time! Input or anything else to add if any is encouraged too.

Yumalia's Reunion
Back on my Yumalia brainrot, I can't get over all the layers and depths of their brief interaction in episode 11.
Tumblr media
The moment Yugo is done defying his mother and forced to watch her leave, for she had long made her choice, Amalia doesn't hesitate to reach out to him and hold his hand, which Yugo immediately squeezes right back. Even with the threat of imminent war for her people's safety, Amalia's first instinct is to go to Yugo and offer whatever comfort she can, and he just lets her because if there's someone who can ground him, it's Amalia.
That's exactly what she did at the end of season 3. Not only did she tell Oropo he would never be Yugo because Yugo would never willingly or knowingly sacrifice anyone for his cause (even during his fight with Ad during the OVAs he always thought his brother would eventually come back), but she unknowingly dissuaded the fears and insecurities that'd been plaguing him throughout the entire season, both regarding his past actions and his own relationship with her. Because even after all they'd been through and his insecurities hurting Amalia deeply, she still chose him, and she still reaffirmed her love for him in such a way it would allow for their interactions in season 4 to be that much more openly affectionate and less restrained.
Tumblr media
But not only that, back then she was also there to ground him when Oropo's passing and his absorbing of the Eliotropes overwhelmed him, helping him see all the good despite what they had lost.
Tumblr media
And she is doing that yet again when they finally reunite.
Tumblr media
But there is so much more going on here. So many emotions running deep between them.
Look at Yugo's expression, that mixture of surprise and awe etched onto his face. I feel like this is the moment where it truly clicks for him just how much he's changed and all the possibilities his new body entails, especially for their relationship. And Amalia is just happy, happy that he is alive and happy that he can finally see and feel like the great king and warrior she always knew was already there.
For the first time since he's met her, Yugo doesn't have to look up to meet his love's eyes, and you can clearly see how the mere thought takes him aback. But I believe there's so much more to it, so many things left unsaid.
He's looking at her like she's finally within reach, and not only because now they're closer in height. Yugo had to spent the last few years of his life watching how the love of his life grew into the most beautiful flower in Sadida's garden, into a queen, while he remained stuck in his child-like body, with only a title for show despite he too being royalty.
It's all in his eyes!
Tumblr media
He isn't just looking at Amalia. He is staring at her like a dying man stares at his salvation, like someone who's been wandering in the dessert for ages looks at an oasis. And it's not just because they might finally have a shot, but because she is there and she is real.
Despite Yugo's unrelenting optimism and will, upon being captured by the Nécromes, a part of him had probably been forced to accept he would never see Amalia again, either because he would remain the last of his days as their prisoner, or because she would too fall soon.
Tumblr media
Given his predicament, thanks to Oropo and Qilby's intervention, Yugo was most likely running on adrenaline when he noticed the portal in the Sadida forest and what it would mean for Amalia. His mind was set on protecting her, not on the fact that they would be reunited after such a horrible ordeal. And I don't think it really sunk in that he would see her again until she touched him, until she literally became tangible and attainable.
But she is real, and she is with him, they are together again. Only this time, they might actually get to be together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at such level of intimacy! Such tenderness mixed with the underlying unbriddled passion they feel for one another! Yugo might have been shown being okay with revealing his wings to his friends, but he always took the hood off himself; but not with Amalia. With her he trusts her enough to let her do the honours and all he can do is melt under her touch.
Seeing Amalia again after being held prisoner in the Nécroworld and forcibly aged has allowed Yugo to fall in love with her all over again and, more importantly, to finally allow himself to love her with his whole being in return. No more holding back, no more second thoughts, no more take-backs. No more denying themselves what they have been desperately yearning for.
He loves Amalia and she loves him. And he's going to hold onto her for as long as they both live.
Tumblr media
And I am so not normal about them.

I really like the way Toross is animated, the flash moments, the fact that he moves and speaks slowly like the living dead, and how his cape moves. There's something both majestic and intimidating about his presentation as an antagonist. And even though he has characteristics that remind us of the living dead, he pulls no punches in his confrontation with Adamaï, showing just how fearsome he is as a fighter. Although I think he was just playing with him, we clearly didn't see the full extent of his power.

Wakfu THE GREAT WAVE manga synopsis
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ohhhh he's about to have a whole mental breakdown arc
Anyway here's my theory (S4 spoilers ahead)
АНЕМ
In order to defeat Toross Mordal in the s4 finale, Yugo consumed the stasis Toross had trapped him in in order for his body to utilize it as a weapon
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Something which Toross remarks on with "Be careful Yugo, try not to get a taste for it." Or "don't get comfortable using it so much."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think Yugo is now tied to Toross some how by using his Stasis. The hands on the cover representing control of how Toross will influence Yugo’s decisions. Or even manipulate him, with those “disturbing visions” being like nightmares in a way?
My other idea that could tie into the first or be it’s own thing, is that Yugo is suffering from stasis poisoning. (Hence why he’s connected to Toross and is having visions due to his influence) The only reason he hasn't had any withdraws of negative affects so far is because of the Eliatrope dofus, but let's say the twlevian leaders (who ToT confirmed would turn their backs on Yugo likely due to the power he carries) or a malicious force were to force Yugo to let go of the dofus, which would then in turn allow the stasis inside of him to kick in full gear causing him to get sick or corrupted.
Tumblr media
And this is more me reaching but if Toross is directly involved then just his stasis then he could be trying to manipulate Yugo and er-go Adamai to be a Nora+Efrim 2.0. But l'm more leaning towards the stasis poison.
This panel really got me... How worried Adamai is for Yugo who clearly hasn't slept at all and is not in a good mental state. With what might be wakfu or stasis veins buldging out of his face and (maybe wakfu tears?) in corrupted looking eyes.
Yugo who's supposed to be this powerful king who has all these weapons that's the Twelvians want, being reduced to a vulnerable state with power he likely can't handle, which imp will definitely lead to the destruction of twelve.
Tumblr media
Like Ogrest, having such an unstable powerful being left so vulnerable or susceptible to manipulation (and especially if he falls into the hands of the malicious) will be a recepie for disaster. (cough cough say Toross or a political leader)
And on top of this Yugo has YEARS of unresolved trauma and issues he never properly dealt with. Combine this with a ton of elements I think this is going to be THE breaking point for him. He gets pushed to a point that causes him to snap, maybe someone he cares about dies or something tragic happens to him while he is in this state, and that will cause him to accidentally kickstart the great wave.
(Waven trailer https:// m.youtube.com/watch?V=SC2kutCxxrg)
Tumblr media
Likely using Lokus, he will be pushed far past his limits with the stasis poisoning and pressure from the twelvian leaders + who knows what else and years of suppressed trauma which in a moment of great weakness in his suffering will cause him to catalyst the great wave. How exactly it builds up to it is beyond me but I believe the great wave manga will fall down a route like this. His intentions are good. But he’s in such a horrible state he isn’t of sound mind or at the least is unable to control his powers.
Anyway can't wait for him to go through the horrors…... again... it's only been four months since the end of s4 by the way... might make my analysis more detailed when my phone isn't at 3 percent .
