Firstly, one of my favorite details you draw with the RENORA prompts are the little bandaids. Idk, it just seems very much like her to be covered in them. It's so cute! Secondly, Ren always seems exasperated by Nora - is it just because of her high energy or does he not reciprocate her pretty obvious feelings?

Thank you! I thought it would be cute too since Nora seems the type that deals and takes a lot of damage. (You guys remember that paladin punch in volume 3, right?)

To answer the second question:

I do think that Ren may reciprocate the feelings BUT:

As it’s stated Ren and Nora are very opposite personalities, Ren seems to be the very private type of guy. Meaning he may not display his true feelings publicly.

So far I (because I might be wrong, someone feel free to correct me on this) haven’t seen a lot of Rens insight about Nora, even tho we got a fair chunk of character development regarding his past and Noras in volume 4

So whatever happens in relation to that is yet to be seen, hence why I mostly display Ren being exasperated with Nora hyper personality, as he always does.

But I do see the relationship being plausible if both characters as being so opposite, reach a common ground. Wich I think it’s already there, but we haven’t seen yet, otherwise they wouldn’t be friends at all.

LET ME JUST START --

with the fact that i rarely get to make it to this point. i rarely make it to half this point, so for me this is a big thing. but the nine months that i’ve had velvet as a muse and blog, i have met some of the most wonderful people here. there have been the ups and the downs of course but here we are, three months away from my start where i spent a weekend screaming at you all about seeing rwby cosplays at anime north --

but in the end, if it weren’t for you guys being here, i might have left velvet and never come back. you guys make this blog feel like a home even if some days ( or weeks ) velvet feels less open to speaking and i fall out to another blog. i always come back because you guys make me want to. so without further ado -- let’s get this rolling.

@tadmean : hali -- hALI -- my halibun my coco to my velvet my first friend here -- you are so important to me and even if we had a few rough patches along the way we always came through and always came back. i just hope that in the end coco and velvet can do the same --

@kauzika / @wrodon && @leonceu : you two. you wonderful two people i love you without a doubt. i could put you as separate sections but ever since i met you two you’ve been like a single unit and i love you both so much. we spoke so much and bonded so fast that even if things don’t turn out down the road i’m sure you both will forever be my platonic soulmate significant others. thank you so much for being there for me.

ya’ll can i just say holy shit i made it writing ruby a whole year ?? some of you might remember my infamous rcdcaped days &. the time i finally made ruby into her own blog. there’s been ups &. downs but in all honesty i wouldn’t be the person i am today if i hadn’t gotten this experience. i have made what i can only assume are lifelong friends through ruby &. writing for this silly character has made me happier than i ever expected she would.

all of you make me so unbelievably happy &. here’s to another year of roobolutions, dorm shenanigans &. RNJR’s fake mustaches.

now i gotta. take the time to scream about a few ppl in particular o k.

firstly, @arcticsxul i feel like its silly to add u because while we met months and months ago, you’ve become my best friend regardless of what blogs we have. a day doesn’t feel complete unless i’ve talked to you, and you’ve been one of the greatest supports in my life. i wouldn’t even be here if not for you <3

@talariia is lucky because genji didn’t know me very long ( i was a noob, ok ) but we almost immediately clicked and we’ve been ridiculously close ever since. genji you have quickly become my best friend, someone i can shout ridiculous headcanons about summer rose at and you actually like them <3 having you as a friend has been nothing short of a blessing and yep. ur stuck with me now.
